Job description

Are you a creative email marketing specialist that's eager to learn and try new approaches? If so, then our Supporter Engagement Executive opportunity, based in our lovely London office might just be the role for you! 

Which? is currently undergoing a period of major transformational change. Our three year strategy has recently been developed under our new Chief Executive and brings with it challenging goals to reach as well as exciting opportunities to explore. Our Member and Supporter Engagement Team has a huge opportunity to support our evolution and help us develop and deliver best-in-class engagement journeys and meet our ambitious audience goals so you couldn't be joining us at a better time!

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Supporter Engagement Manager you'll join our fast moving and energetic Member and Supporter Engagement Team. We're the engine room of Which? campaigns, driving activity and engagement, and you'll work with us to develop some of our core propositions including Which? Later Life Care and Consumer Rights. 

In addition you will: 

  • Plan and create personalised and seamless end to end engagement strategies, including email copywriting and offline engagement. 
  • Take an audience first, test and learn approach, considering message, channel and timing, as well as wider context within existing and new customer journeys in order to deliver the most engaging and effective communications.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities to deliver integrated and amplified campaign impact.
  • Deliver the highest standards of rigour/accuracy and a relentless focus on how to engage and retain campaign supporters in all activities.
  • Keep in touch with best practice in the email marketing sector bringing new ideas to the team.
  • Monitor and evaluate engagement with regular sharing of learnings and results.

What we'll need from you

We're looking for a confident individual that enjoys connecting across teams to establish excellent working relationships. There will be plenty of scope for you develop your knowledge across a range of tools, so we would expect you to take a proactive approach to your learning.

As our Supporter Engagement Executive you'll also need:

  • Proven experience of devising and delivering email marketing campaigns (ideally through Blue State Digital or Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical skills and an inquisitive mind - a record of using data to deliver better campaigns and communications.
  • Experience using CRM systems and associated tools.
  • Creative email copywriting skills and a strong all round communicator.
  • A good understanding of HTML and all round IT skills.
  • An inquisitive mind, always testing what's working and how we can make things better.
  • A positive attitude and a desire to win change for consumers.
