Summary of the role:

This role is crucial in supporting the Head of Strategy in developing the organisational strategy and operational plans, making sure that everything stays on track.

This will include assisting in monitoring the progress of strategic planning, planning workshops to facilitate internal communication and learning, but also supporting in routineday-to-day tasks including scheduling, managing the flow of, filing, archiving and securing of important/confidential information, facilitating smooth and effective communication with relevant stakeholders and by providing administrative support on small-scale projects.

We need someone who is a quick learner, proactive, and can adapt quickly. Your work directly impacts the future strategic direction of Muslim Aid.

About the Role:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of organisational strategies and plans.
2. Support in the monitoring of key deliverables against identified indicators in the operationalisation of the strategy, including effective coordination with relevant departments to ensure milestones are met.

New Horizon provides a range of Youth Work opportunities for young people experiencing homelessness. One stream of work is our Jobs, Education and Training (JET) team. The JET team support with young people to support them into meaningful and appropriate employment, training opportunities, apprenticeships, volunteering, and education.

In this role, you will work with young people 1-1, holding small caseloads, as well as working with young people in groups and delivering employment or education-focussed sessions on a regular basis.

As part of our service, we also aim to deliver a weekly group conversation class for young people looking to improve their spoken English, many of whom are young refugees and asylum seekers. Purpose of Post

This is a position offering someone with the appropriate values and experience, the opportunity to play a pivotal part in our small HR team (Head of HR and Senior HR Coordinator). As an HR Support Assistant we would expect you to have a strong customer service focus with a remit of providing high quality and accurate effective HR administration service relating to the recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities

Refugee Council is seeking an experienced philanthropy specialist to develop and grow the Refugee Council’s Philanthropy relationships and programme and deliver an ambitious Philanthropy strategy.

Refugee Council is a leading charity supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety here in the UK.  Providing practical, hands on support, their award winning services include welcoming refugees into local communities across the country, providing specialist children’s services – with a particular focus on refugee children who arrive here alone, helping people to navigate the asylum system, and supporting people to access housing and employment.  Evidence from services is then used to also inform the charity’s leading policy and influencing work, including campaigning for a fairer and kinder refugee protection system.  The charity works with more than 14,000 men, women and children every year.

As a result of growing need and increasing interest in Refugee Council’s work, the charity has ambitious plans to make a leap in impact, with investment in their Philanthropy Team to raise increased funds from key high value audiences.

This role will be a critical part of the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team and presents an exciting opportunity to grow Refugee Council’s established Philanthropy programme. The role will be responsible for delivering and creating bespoke development plans, supported by engaging cultivation and stewardship activities to secure increased funding from existing and new donors. What the job involves

We’re looking for a Data Coordinator to join our Data Import team. Your role is key in providing an exceptional service to both internal and external customers. You’ll be ensuring activities such as income processing, gift and coding adjustments are processed in a quick and effective manner.

Reporting to the Data Import Manager, you’ll collaborate with other teams within Customer Engagement to provide support and ensure that donations are processed and coded correctly on our database.

As a Data Coordinator your role helps support a focused unit of trusted experts at influencing and engaging the public through the wider Communications team.

We develop innovative strategies connecting need with organisational goals, produce creative content to bring those strategies to life and deliver it to the right audience at the right time for maximum impact. We’re a partner to the organisation, with a full view of our audiences and our communications with them - and we use this knowledge to build our brand and our business.

What we want from you

You’ll have a positive, solution focused outlook and be passionate in helping us to tame prostate cancer. You’ll have experience of income processing and administration, knowledge of Gift Aid and experienced in working with a CRM database (ideally Raiser’s Edge).

You’ll be a self-assured and professional communicator, can work using your own initiative and possess high standards of prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines with changing priorities. In addition, you’ll have the ability to build and maintain relationships, have excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills.

New Horizon provides a range of Youth Work opportunities for young people experiencing homelessness. One stream of work is our Jobs, Education and Training (JET) team. The JET team support with young people to support them into meaningful and appropriate employment, training opportunities, apprenticeships, volunteering, and education.

In this role, you will work with young people 1-1, holding small caseloads, as well as working with young people in groups and delivering employment or education-focussed sessions on a regular basis. You will also source and develop partnerships to create appropriate routes into employment and training opportunities. Alongside this, you will regularly support with delivery in our day-centre and will need to be able to work with young people from a range of backgrounds.

Are you the right person for the job?

· Strategic leadership experience and experience of working with a board

· Education to degree level or hold a relevant Level 5 qualification in a relevant field

· Significant experience in managing the finances of multi-million-pound organisations and managing budgets, with a proven track record of good stewardship and delivering surpluses

What will your role look like?

You will provide strategic leadership and direction to enable the CAYSH group to achieve its mission – to provide a safe home and better futures for young single homeless people and vulnerable adults.

Working in collaboration with the Board of Trustees/Directors and the leadership team, you will ensure the effective operational performance and success. The role is pivotal in continued growth and sustainability of the organisation and to improve the lives of our service users.

Main Responsibilities

· Drive the values of the CAYSH Group, raise its profile and develop a motivated and high performing workforce which is responsive to the needs of service users

· Be responsible for compliance with the organisation’s legal and regulatory duties

· In collaboration with the board, develop and implement strategic and business plans

· Oversee the CAYSH Group’s budgeting process and monitor financial performance

· Proactively grow income by developing business opportunities and securing donations

· Oversee the tender process with the Executive team, directing the acquisition of new business with governmental and charitable organisations and local authorities

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, we are recruiting a brand new Partnerships Manager role to lead on opening up bedspaces, pathways and partnerships to improve outcomes for this client group. This role presents an exciting opportunity to create real sustainable change. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in partnership and stakeholder engagement who knows how to get and keep people on board to meet mutual or differing needs. The ideal candidate will be a confident, natural networker. You need to be persuasive but able to understand the perspectives and challenges that exist in this space. Key to achieving our vision is the passion. You must be genuinely passionate about supporting young people who are impacted by violence, exploitation and the criminal justice system and ideally, have previous frontline experience within relevant services.
