Job description

Hope for Justice is recruiting for a new and critical role at the heart of our anti-trafficking work globally: Head of Programme Operations.

The Head of Programme Operations will directly manage our Country Directors, our monitoring and evaluation function, and the direction and strategy of our frontline UK work (including investigations, advocacy, legal, survivor support and training). They will be responsible for ensuring that Programme objectives for our beneficiaries are achieved.

They will also oversee the development of brand new programmes, by scoping and evaluating opportunities and making recommendations based on outcomes and need, in line with our four programme workstreams: preventing exploitation, rescuing victims, restoring lives and reforming society.

They will help to establish, maintain and develop our relationships with governments, relevant authorities and other NGOs, representing Hope for Justice at the highest levels. Good communication skills are therefore essential.

The successful candidate will have at least seven years’ experience of directing operations and programmes at a senior level, in a related area, with an International NGO or public sector organisation and a successful track record of leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams in an international context. They will also have experience of managing complex projects and budgets.

This will be a demanding but intensely rewarding role, based in Manchester (with some international travel required), helping shape the future of a fast-growing charity that is actively fighting modern slavery across four continents. Join Hope for Justice and be part of setting the direction for our organisation and our movement for years to come.

A full list of duties and responsibilities can be found in the Role Profile by visiting our website and clicking the link there.
