Head of Programmes is a key role with significant scope to grow as the charity evolves. You’ll lead on the day-to-day delivery of our programmes, including our largest single programme, Maths Circles: a small-group-based maths enrichment programme engaging talented young mathematicians nationwide. You will coordinate a large community of volunteers as well as our in-house team of part-time and freelance staff to deliver an excellent experience for students, parents, tutors and partners.
You will need to be genuinely enthusiastic about using our CRM and Google Sheets to track progress and excited about martialling the charity’s data to communicate clearly with colleagues, partners and trustees. You will take ownership of programme reporting and KPIs, using insights to identify and implement delivery improvements and demonstrate impact.
You will communicate regularly with our diverse community – including speaking directly to young people and parents to resolve issues, recruiting and training education professionals and meeting with partners to organise and manage projects. Beyond programme delivery, you’ll play a crucial part in fundraising, communications, recruitment and planning and will occasionally deputise for the Foundation Director in representing the charity externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of programme operations

Overall purpose of role
The Administrative Support Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day running of WeProtect Global Alliance. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Operations, this new role provides wide-ranging support across administration, finance, HR, and team coordination, ensuring that internal processes run efficiently in a dynamic, remote working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative and Operational Support

Provide general administrative support to the Secretariat, including correspondence, maintaining organisational records and policies, and managing virtual offices.

Schedule and coordinate Board and FRAC meetings, including preparing materials and accurate minute-taking.

Support the organisation of retreats, away days, and staff travel, as well as managing the Monday meeting rota and staff engagement activities.

Order equipment, business cards, and other items for staff as needed, and maintain the fixed asset register.

Provide ad-hoc support to the Communications Lead, assisting with administrative tasks, coordination, and document preparation as required.
Finance and Contracts Administration

Support financial processes by coding and processing invoices, expenses, and receipts, assisting with monthly financial consolidation, and coding income allocations.

Provide support with audits (UK and Stichting), intercompany transfers, payroll variance checks, and day-to-day banking.

Assist with contract administration and supplier relationships, including account management (e.g. CloudTech24, Signeasy).

Support payment approvals and processing in Telleroo, and contribute to accurate record-keeping for budget and compliance purposes.
Staff and HR Support

Support recruitment processes, including the administrative aspects of staff onboarding and offboarding.

Camp Jojo is a small/medium, but growing charity with a committed team of Trustees, Special Advisors, and Volunteers. This is a chance to contribute to a dynamic organisation and work in a supportive environment. In particular, Camp Jojo’s extension of its work to Nags Head Farm, Appleby, Cumbria, is new; with Open Days held in 2025, and the first camps to be held in August 2026.
The holder of this post will be critical to this development; working to establish a sister site in Cumbria to Ivy Farm on Mersea island, Essex, with a well tried and tested model of operations. The role of Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager (Families and Site Ops) is to offer leadership and administrative support to key functions of Camp Jojo at Nags Head Farm, and to members of the Camp Jojo Board, in relation to the camps held at Nags Head Farm.
The Contractor will handle clerical and logistics tasks for the organisation in a timely and efficient way. The primary task of the Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will be to oversee family applications to the camps, and to maintain and develop data bases in support of this. They will hold a key role in relation to communications with the families pre-, during, and post-camps. In addition, they will attend and minute meetings, and contribute to camp operations in planning etc. They may need to work flexibly, according to the seasonal demands of the charity.
They will attend the first day (Friday) of each camp The Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will have a varied and sometimes high-pace job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, interact professionally with the wider Camp Jojo community, and be very good communicators.

MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
The IT Operations Manager will ensure the smooth and secure running of all technology systems across the charity. This role provides operational oversight of IT services, suppliers and infrastructure, enabling staff to work effectively while maintaining compliance, security and resilience. The postholder will play a key role in supporting organisational growth through effective systems management, project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will oversee and coordinate the charity’s technology function, ensuring outsourced IT services are managed effectively and systems remain secure, reliable, and fit for purpose.
You will act as the operational lead for technology, supporting staff and stakeholders while driving the delivery of small-to-medium projects such as system upgrades, CRM enhancements, and security improvements.

Supplier & service management
- Act as the main operational contact for outsourced IT support and helpdesk, charity database, and website providers, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance, service level agreements (SLAs), and ticketing systems. Escalate issues and follow up to resolution as needed.
- Maintain the contract register, arrange renewals, and support procurement activities related to technology services and systems.
Systems oversight and documentation
- Maintain an up-to-date map of organisational systems, integrations, licences, and the asset register.
- Manage hardware and software requirements across the organisation, ensuring systems are fit for purpose and aligned with operational needs.
- Identify operational risks, technical issues or gaps in provision and implement quick-win improvements where possible.
- Ensure process documentation and user guides are accurate, accessible, and regularly updated.
Project coordination and delivery
- Lead or coordinate small-to-medium technology projects (e.g. multi-factor authentication rollout, system upgrades, CRM module implementation, data migrations).
- Manage project timelines, stakeholder communications, and supplier delivery to ensure successful outcomes.
Governance, security & compliance
- Support the implementation of IT policies (e.g. acceptable use, backup, remote access) and data protection controls.
- Maintain the technology risk register and report to the Head of Finance and Resources to support compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR.
- Promote cyber security best practices across the organisation, including coordinating periodic phishing tests and reporting outcomes via outsourced suppliers.
- Track departmental spend, support budget monitoring, and prepare cost forecasts for future technology needs.
- Contribute to business cases for new systems or technology investments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Stakeholder liaison & internal enablement
- Act as the bridge between technical suppliers and non-technical staff, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Camp Jojo is currently in transition. Over the first 8 years it has worked from one established site in Mersea, Essex; but we are now opening a second site (Nag’s Head Farm) near Appleby in Cumbria. The role of Volunteer Manager (Nags Head Farm) is to provide the management and administration of the key Volunteer sector of Camp Jojo, and to offer administrative support and feedback to members of the Camp Jojo Board in this regard.
The Volunteer Manager will be responsible for successful initial contact, recruitment, communication with and administration of volunteer for the Nag’s Head Farm camps, through to their successful placement at camp. They will also work closely with the Operations Manager: Families and Site Ops. (Nags Head Farm). They will be guided in their role with the existing managers at Ivy Farm, Mersea, Essex.
The primary task of the Volunteer Manager (Nag’s Head Farm) will be to oversee the whole process of Volunteer applications to camps at Nag’s Head Farm, and to maintain and develop databases in support of this. They will be the contact point for information and support throughout the Nag’s Head Farm volunteers’ pathway with Camp Jojo. In addition, they will attend and minute meetings which concern volunteer management, etc.
They may need to work flexibly; the demands will be seasonal, with many more hours needed through spring and summer than autumn and winter. ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a Finance and Operations Manager to support the CEO in the day-to-day running of our charity. The NUM CEO develops the overall vision of the organisation, while the Operations Manager is responsible to carry out the vision.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
