We are looking for a CRM & Data Officer to take ownership of HorseWorld’s supporter data and CRM system—ensuring it is accurate, compliant and actively enabling our fundraising to grow.

The Role

This is a pivotal role within our fundraising team. You will be the person who makes sure our systems work, our income is correctly recorded and reconciled, and our data is handled with care and integrity.

You will work closely with fundraising and finance colleagues, and with the CEO, to ensure that our data not only meets regulatory requirements, but supports better decisions, stronger relationships and increased income.

This is not just about maintaining data.
It’s about making it useful.

Key Responsibilities

CRM & Data Management

• Own and manage HorseWorld’s CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and usability
• Act as system administrator and lead on any future development or upgrades
• Produce reports and insights to support fundraising performance and decision-making
• Support colleagues to use the CRM effectively through guidance and training

Data Protection & Compliance

• Work with the CEO to ensure compliance with GDPR and relevant fundraising regulations
• Act as a key point of contact for data protection queries and audits
• Maintain clear processes, documentation and staff understanding of data responsibilities

Fundraising Operations & Financial Reconciliation

• Reconcile all fundraising income through the CRM with the Accounts team on a monthly basis
• Ensure all income streams (online platforms, standing orders, events, etc.) are accurately recorded and monitored
• Support fundraising activities and events with data and financial processes

Gift Aid

• Manage and improve Gift Aid processes to ensure efficiency and compliance
• Submit accurate monthly claims and maintain robust records
• Ensure readiness for HMRC inspection at all times

Lottery Administration

• Record and monitor lottery income
• Complete required returns to the Gambling Commission
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements

This will include housing, academic, and employment matters, through casework, support and acting as a ‘friend’ for students in UCL committees, panels, hearings or other meetings. About the role
As the Media and Communications Manager (Global Impact) you will produce distinctive, compelling communications and coverage that promote our global campaigns, responses and programmes, and help us achieve our influencing and fundraising goals. 

In this role, you will:

• Work with the Head of Global Impact Communications to ensure our coverage and messages are aligned with SCUK's priorities for advocacy and fundraising 
• Secure original media stories that stimulate debate, drive action by supporters and reach target audiences across all channels 
• Produce a range of coverage from hard news to PR, with powerful human interest content that connects us with supporters and builds consideration to donate 
• Grow media partnerships that help us increase support for our advocacy and fundraising 
• Gather evidence and case studies that add authority and relevance to our output 
• Liaise with the creative content team, the digital and social media team and the artists and influencers team to give your stories visual impact on earned, owned and paid channels whenever possible 
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) and other workstreams delivering campaigns such as conflict, hunger, health, education, the climate crisis and the future of aid 
• Respond rapidly to emergencies, maximising our fundraising for DEC appeals or unrestricted funding

About you

Role purpose

The purpose of this role is to support the National Programme Team with the implementation of operational plans that deliver successful national skills competitions. This will include supporting the activities and actions relating to the national programme cycle, projects across diversity and inclusion and transfer of global standards to maximise local and national activity in the UK.

Key tasks and responsibilities

· To contribute to the successful delivery of WorldSkills UK’s strategic priorities and annual business objectives.

· To support skills competitions that raise standards of teaching and learning and serve as a key vehicle for practitioner development across the vocational education and training sector and the workplace, including Apprenticeship/Traineeships.

· To co-ordinate activities relating to requesting, tracking and quality assuring key documents required from our Competition Organising Partners (COPs), ensuring documents are received within set deadlines.

· To co-ordinate and support the planning and event delivery of national skills competition activity across the UK, including booking travel, venues, accommodation and catering.

· To administer and co-ordinate the local and national projects i.e. Competitor Support Fund, and Evaluations.

· To support improved engagement in skills competitions by all Stakeholder groups and audiences.

Summary of terms and conditions

Fair4All Finance is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2019 to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services. Our funding comes from The Dormant Assets Scheme. The scheme makes it possible for money in dormant bank and building society accounts to be used to help good causes.

There are at least 20.3m people in the UK in vulnerable financial circumstances, who are poorly served or unfairly excluded from mainstream financial services. That’s almost half of adults in the UK.

Innovation and Development 

As we continue our exciting growth plans to deliver on our ambitious goals and refreshed strategy at Fair4All Finance, following additional funding from the Dormant Assets Scheme, we are seeking an Associate Director Commercial to join our Innovation and Development Team.

The role involves delivering a portfolio of work which includes completing, negotiating and managing innovative product pilots with commercial and mainstream financial providers, Fintech providers and not for profit community lenders; supporting programmes and transactions on our technology workstream; considering ad hoc strategic opportunities for market interventions and transformations.

Role Purpose:

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team working to make the financial services sector fairer for everyone. Millions of people are unable to access the mainstream products and services that meet their financial needs and have to choose between going without essentials or turning to high-cost credit or illegal money lenders. Without safety nets like credit, insurance or savings, everyday life events or financial shocks can tip people into increasingly vulnerable circumstances.

One of Fair4All Finance’s key strategic priorities, and a focus of the Innovation and Development team, is to transform the market, to test and deliver the right products to all customers who need them including dramatically improving access to credit, insurance and resilience products by attracting new entrants, scaling existing providers and supporting mainstream providers to diversify their offerings.

A key part of our strategy is to test and scale product propositions, working in partnership with providers, and, where successful, to scale these propositions up for long term success. We do this by codesigning propositions that work for the customer, commercial arrangements that work for the provider, societal outcomes that deliver for the funders and stakeholders.

The Associate Director – Commercial will lead on the commercial lifecycle of proposition tests, meeting potential partners and developing a pipeline of opportunities through to procurement (where appropriate) or running a transparent competition via a subsidy scheme, bid assessment, contract negotiation with significant providers of lending, insurance and savings products. You will work with those providers to oversee the successful setup and delivery including building in how we measure the success of the pilot or proposition and evaluate the impact.

Also key to the role is liaising with the Head of Proposition, Design and Development to design end to end products that meet the needs of people in financially vulnerable circumstances. Strong collaboration with other members of the team is also essential to build the evidence base (economic, value for money and societal impact) which you will then build into business cases for long term funding for these propositions, or alternative financial support. About the role

Reporting into the Head of Donor Relations, the role oversees the project management of more than 120 bespoke donor reports each year - compelling, insight rich updates that show donors the real difference their gift has made across King’s, from pioneering research into personalised cancer treatments and young people’s mental health to innovative programmes in AI and Law and sustainability.
