We are seeking a Programme Manager to support the delivery and continued development of the Academy’s Systems Approaches in Government programme.
The role
As the Programme Manager, your role is pivotal in supporting the delivery and continued development of the Systems Approaches in Government programme, driving the advancement and application of systems approaches across government. You will have strong programme management skills and experience that you can apply to mobilise systems approaches and their application in an engineering policy context.
Working closely with the Programme Lead and Programme Officer, your responsibilities encompass a diverse array of tasks, from coordinating the delivery of workshops and projects to nurturing relationships with stakeholders within and beyond government. Collaborating with policy experts and external partners, you'll spearhead initiatives aimed at promoting systems approaches, both internally and externally. Through the development and dissemination of learning resources, you'll equip Academy colleagues with the skills needed to embed systems approaches into policy formulation and societal responses.
You will champion the adoption of innovative approaches to address complex societal challenges, aligning with the overarching programme vision and Theory of Change. Within your role you will be responsible for ensuring accurate monitoring and reporting of the program's impact. You'll also be instrumental in maintaining operational efficiency by overseeing processes, managing risks, and fostering stakeholder engagement through effective database management.
In addition to operational duties, you'll play a vital role in elevating the programme's profile through integrated marketing strategies and collaborative partnerships. By leveraging the programme's outputs and networks, you'll contribute to the broader strategic objectives of the Academy while actively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

We’re a small charity that brings communities together to create cleaner, connected and safer urban and rural neighbourhoods by tackling the litter problems where they live. The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity.
You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. Examples include the development of a professional competencies framework to support career progression and performance at all levels, supported by learning and development opportunities, improving key processes, resource allocation and financial planning methodologies, and reporting on financial performance.
As part of the function’s senior management team, this role will lead a team of finance business partners who will provide outstanding partnering services to our central services including large functions such as Estates and Facilities, IT, Students & Education, Research Management and on other crucial ‘head office’ activities. Working closely with the corporate reporting team on the provision of management accounts, you will lead on financial performance support in-year and across our three-year financial planning framework. You will play a wider role as a senior member of the finance leadership team on cross-college initiatives and be asked to deputise for the senior Director of the division or their peers.

As Finance Business Partner, you were regularly advise Communications and Fundraising leaders and senior leadership to inform decision making and maximise fundraising income and support in key decisions on how it is spent. You will develop a systematic forecasting process for the directorate and ensure robust 3 year income and expenditure plans are implemented as well as producing multiple year income and expenditure budgets to tie into the charities multi-year operational plan and strategy. An overview of some of the key responsibilities is below:
- Work with Communications and Fundraising department heads to produce their multiple year income and expenditure budgets
- Evaluate performance against plans and apply business insight to enable fundraising strategies to be delivered successfully.
- Use analysis to identify trends from across the department and ensure optimal financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with the wider organisation to ensure that financial management information is complete and accurate.
- Use Business Intelligence Tools to develop insightful dashboards that inform decision making and encourage self service.
- Identify operational and financial risks, and determine the method of mitigating the risk with relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the delivery of a successful audit, and use business insights to support the production the financial statements.

This is a newly created role working within our Fundraising & Communication Dept.
Role summary
Working within our fundraising and communications team, you will support the management of our communications portfolio of work. Maintaining our consistent brand, you will lead on digital and print asset development. Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey has been established for over 100 years and is the major provider of services for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, and deafblind in Surrey.

Main Responsibilities:
Lead on service delivery, management and governance
– To provide strong leadership for the service based on a clear vision for the service, clarity of standards and outcomes to be achieved.
– With the Head of CYP support the strategic development, planning and delivery of specialist services for children and families ensuring an effective co-ordinated offer for these families is in place and to develop new childcare settings as appropriate.
