Combat Stress is the UK's leading mental health charity for veterans. For over a century we've been helping former servicemen and women deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today we provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues related to their military service. We provide a range of community, outpatient and residential mental health services to veterans with complex mental health problems. We provide services in-person, and via phone and online.
About the role:
You will work closely with both the Challenge and Community Events and Digital teams to implement and help develop and oversee a new digital marketing strategy, crucial to enable the Challenge & Community team to maximise participation and income whilst ensuring supporters have the best experience possible when taking part in any event for Combat Stress.
You will be developing and enhancing our digital programmes, creative development and optimising campaigns and social journeys. You'll manage thorough market research and identify target audiences in order to create data-driven campaigns and be able to identify and optimise digital plans and initiatives which will enable Combat Stress to meet both our long and short-term goals.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment which is fun and rewarding. You'll need to be able to prioritise a sometimes demanding and shifting workload, work well under pressure.
You must have previous experience working in a similar role with large income and expenditure budgets with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple digital campaigns from conception to execution.

Your key responsibilities include:
Philanthropy and fundraising partnerships programme management
- Lead on the development and operational delivery of the philanthropy and fundraising partnerships strategy, encompassing work across the high-value donor, legacies, trusts, and corporate fundraising income streams.
- Lead on maintaining our clients relationships with existing high-value donors and funders, through the provision of exemplary stewardship.
- Drive the development and testing of new means of acquiring high-value donors and funders for them, to deliver sustainable growth.

The NSPA network has grown significantly since 2020. The number of organisations working with us has almost doubled and individual membership has increased four-fold. Whilst those running suicide prevention programmes are a significant proportion of our membership, a growing number are those whose core business is not suicide prevention but who recognise the need to take action and are seeking support to do so.

What you’ll be doing:
The Communities Coordinator will support community groups to campaign for clean rivers at a local level. By facilitating grass roots action you’ll be galvanising a strong and powerful network of community activists that have the power to create change both locally and nationally. You’ll be responsible for taking River Action’s national campaign strategy to a local level. Main Duties

The Head of Scotland and Northern Ireland is responsible for leading our vision to end the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Scotland currently leads the way in having a rights-based, progressive agenda to ending the need for food banks, but there is much to do to ensure political intentions become a reality. The Head of Services - Rough Sleeping is a brand-new role for the organisation and will lead on developing a new internal strategy for young people facing rough sleeping, as well as holding operational oversight of our established youth-specific street outreach function and emergency accommodation hub, both of which are unique in London.
