We are delighted to have been awarded funding by the National Lottery to deliver a third phase of our incredibly popular Women off to Work (WoW) programme. Since 2017, WoW has supported hundreds of local women from predominantly Global Majority communities through holistic training and pathways into work programme.
WoW delivers a blend of life and vocational skills training, promoting general employability and improved wellbeing through work experience placements, internships, job brokerage, practical advice on self-employment and micro-businesses, ESOL classes and more. The programme provides women with opportunities to gain formal and accredited training qualifications and provide support with tailored into-work action plans.
About the Role
The Programme Manager will play a crucial role in continuing the successful delivery of this vital programme, managing and motivating a team to ensure that WoW hits key performance targets.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Project Manager – Apprentice to join the Estates team. Your role is to contribute to the successful delivery of a number of projects and small works, ensuring the scope and benefits are achieved as planned.

Role Requirements
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to precisely define project scope and objectives, eliciting technical requirements to formulate detailed specifications, cost assessments, and delivery schedules, while maintaining close coordination with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and key milestones.
- Contribute to the development and presentation of key project documents for stakeholder approval and governance.
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing capital and operational projects and other minor works throughout the organisation, taking ownership of the successful delivery of assigned projects and tasks throughout the project lifecycle, raising any issues / risks and reporting on a regular basis.
- Work within agreed budget and available resource, reporting on forecast, spend and raising any variations to the Project Manager.
- Build and maintain good relationships with all project stakeholders using a variety of communication methods.
- Track and assess project performance and outcomes using relevant tools and methodologies to collate and analyse data to report on project performance.
- Identify and monitor project risks and issues; and plan and implement responses to them.
- Assist in planning and coordinating the resources – human, financial and material – required for effective project delivery, working with the Senior Engineer to advise on resources from in-house Maintenance Team for up-coming projects.
- Apply quality management systems and tools to ensure project outcomes meet all legislative, regulatory and local standards.
- Participate in post project evaluation to document lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist the Project Manager with collation of all Estates compliance certificates and service report onto the compliance register.
- Provide input, as required, to monthly compliance reports.
- Provide updates on required remedial works, as necessary.

Responsibilities/ Role
- Support and develop relationships across the community income stream from new and existing partners with a plan to maintain and grow income in subsequent years in line with our fundraising strategy.
- Undertake research into potential new campaigns and advances in community fundraising.
- Grow and steward a pipeline of new and existing audiences and fundraising opportunities, ensuring to always maintain the highest quality supporter journey.
- Work closely with the Head of Income Generation and existing Fundraising team to identify potential strategic relationships and opportunities.
- As a senior member of the Income Generation Team, you will contribute to robust financial planning, management and reporting of income and expenditure in your own areas of expertise on a monthly basis.

Purpose of the role
At NEON we believe that organising is crucial if we’re to build the power we need to win a new economy and deepen cross-community solidarity at a time of political polarisation. A central part of our new strategy - and this role - is to support movement organisations and organisers to build their capacity to do what we call Transformative Organising - where we transform the conditions we live in, transform ourselves and transform who has power in society. We use a combination of trainings, 1-2-1 mentoring and strategic partnerships with movement organisations to give organisers the tools, skills and confidence they need to build a base with those at the sharp end of the crisis, develop politically conscious leaders, and plan strategic & escalating campaigns that win. You’ll work with our Head of Organising and colleagues in the Movement Building Hub to scale up this offer over the coming years, with a particular focus on the housing, climate and migration movements, as well as supporting movements to tackle a rising far-right.
What you will be doing

Deliver organising trainings to social movement organisers and campaigners, using content from our Transformative Organising programme and working closely with our Head of Organising and NEON trainers. These will be a mix of shorter workshops and multi-day trainings, blending in-person and online delivery, and you will be supported to experiment with different delivery models to meet movement needs.

Work in partnership with organisers, organisations and coalitions to build their organising capacity over the long-term, through ongoing mentoring and hands-on support and training.

Conduct extensive 1-2-1s with movement organisers, to strengthen relationships, explore opportunities for collaboration and understand movement needs.

Support the development of a network of UK-based organisers, and create spaces for collective learning and ensure NEON’s organising offer meets the needs of organisers on the ground.

Work with the Head of Organising to periodically review and update NEON’s Transformative Organising content, staying responsive to movement needs and incorporating the latest organising practices and tools.

Organise public events on organising topics, including webinars and workshops, bringing together organisers from across social movements

Contribute to the Movement Building Hub’s wider work, including the organising components of our Worker-led Transition programme and our work to build the strategic capacity of movement leaders and organisations. This role will also contribute to cross-organisational work in NEON’s key focus areas (migration, housing, climate, and tackling the rise of the far-right), as well as projects to support the development of NEON’s internal culture.
Who you are

What the job involves
We’re on the lookout for a Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This role focuses on acquiring new cash and regular givers across a range of channels including direct dialogue, direct mail, digital and telephone, helping fund research that will save and improve lives.
In this role you’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. You’ll drive on campaigns across a broad range of channels, with the aim of recruiting new, and re-engaging, lapsed regular and cash supporters. You’ll look for ways to test and innovate to drive the lowest attrition, best ROI and strongest lifetime value. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to drive the best creative, messaging, targeting and data insights.
What we want from you
Aside from excellent knowledge and experience of working in a direct marketing environment, you’ll also have a range of channel experience and marketing knowledge, ideally gained from a fundraising environment.
You’ll possess first class communication skills; a strong team ethic and you’ll be at ease working with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ability to manage expenditure budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance.

Our members are central to our past and our future. Formed by carers of people living with a diagnosis of schizophrenia in 1972, our first members laid the foundations for the Charity that exists today, which now helps thousands of people severely affected by mental illness.
Our many thousands of campaigners, supporters and donors, along with our members, give Rethink Mental Illness its mandate. Members are an important source of volunteers for our governance and peer support groups. They help shape the direction of our work through our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the work of the Board of Trustees and other committees. Membership also provides people with a sense of community and belonging to our organisation that helps them to cope with the demands of living with severe mental illness, whether they have direct experience, or are a carer, relative or friend.

Purpose of the role
The Alcohol Behavioral Change Specialist is responsible for collaboratively designing and implementing, evidence-based programmes applying appropriate behavioural change models aimed at reducing alcohol-related harm, and promoting long-term behavioral change related to alcohol consumption.
As a leading charity focused on alcohol harm reduction, the postholder will be Drinkaware’s internal expert regarding alcohol harm to individuals and will have a good understanding of brief interventions, as well as information, advice and guidance including quality assurance across our work. They will work across the organisation providing expert advice and guidance.

Overview
At Young Roots, we want to see a compassionate and welcoming society for young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We work alongside young people seeking safety in the UK, building trusted relationships, providing practical and emotional support and promoting young people’s rights and power.
Our youth clubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, allowing young people who have fled danger, had traumatic journeys and who are often here alone, to find community and connection, have a space to be a young person and access support in addressing a whole range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people.
The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers.
You will be focused on ensuring our programme activities achieve our outcomes, are in line with our strategy and identify areas for change and development under the direction of the Head of Services. An excellent communicator and skilled at working with partners, you will be key in the implementation and running all of our weekly youth activities, including a Youth Club and Advice and Support Hub working closely with the Youth Development Worker and having oversight of our weekly Young Women’s group.
As an experienced manager, you will lead our team of skilled youth workers, working alongside the Brent team to provide holistic support to young asylum seekers and refugees in Brent.
You will prioritise the participation of young people in all activities, ensuring excellent safeguarding by following our policy and protocols, and ensure that we collect excellent data for monitoring and evaluation and to aid our future planning. You will also assist with staff and volunteer recruitment and reporting to our funding partners.
The Youth Development Coordinator will hold a Designated Safeguarding Officer role at Young Roots for which they will receive full training.

The School:
Merchant Taylors’ School is a large Independent Boys’ School, situated in 280 acres of parkland in Northwood, Middlesex. The School was founded in 1561, is owned by the Merchant Taylors’ Educational Trust and moved to its present site in 1933. There are four distinct boys’ day schools on campus. The Nursery, the Pre-Prep & the Prep cater for 370 boys, while the Senior School has over 960 pupils. The Senior School employs over 110 teachers and 160 Support staff across Merchant Taylors’ School.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Fundraising
· Developing and innovating the school’s regular giving programme, the Merchant Taylors’ Fund, to ensure a consistent income stream and increased participation from alumni, parents and friends.
· In conjunction with external consultants, running our (currently) biennial telephone fundraising campaigns and Giving Days.
· Liaising with school departments, clubs and societies to identify exciting projects to motivate supporters.
· Segmenting and targeting recipients for appeals to ensure the greatest impact and returns.
· Devising the strategy for promoting legacy giving as a means of supporting Merchant Taylors’, and to implement this strategy to increase the number of known legacy pledges to the school.
Stewardship
· Establishing and running a comprehensive benefactor stewardship programme that thanks and stewards donors at all levels, including legacy pledges, through regular communication and events.
Reporting
· Reporting on progress against all objectives to the Development and Alumni Relations Sub-Committee of Governors.
· Where appropriate, working with the Development Executive (Events and Communications), to produce benefactor report publications and contribute to other Development publications.
· Ensuring that all contact with OMTs and parents is recorded on the Development Office’s database, the Raiser’s Edge.
