As Head of Fundraising, you will: 

• Lead the development and delivery of a high-level fundraising strategy, securing multi-year six-figure+ partnerships across corporates, trusts, foundations, major donors and HNWIs
• Manage, develop and inspire a team of 5 direct reports (responsibility for 7), fostering a proactive, collaborative and high-performing culture
• Engage senior stakeholders including the CEO, Chair, Trustees and senior partners to unlock networks and open opportunities
• Represent the organisation at senior-level networking events, conferences and sector forums, influencing decision-makers and strengthening brand positioning

Essential skills and experience: 

• A strategic, senior-level fundraiser with a proven track record delivering six-figure, multi-year partnerships from corporates. Experience across trusts, foundations, and/or major donors highly desirable
• A proactive new business mindset, with eagerness to meet with donors and attend events
• Strategic leadership experience, with proven ability to motivate and develop fundraising teams
• An experienced relationship-builder who has used confidence and gravitas to engage CEOs, trustees, C-suite leaders and high-net-worth individuals — and successfuly make compelling asks

Barnardo's is seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to join our Fundraising & Marketing Directorate as Interim Head of Individual Giving. This is a pivotal senior management role, responsible for leading a team delivering a supporter and data focused fundraising programme, inspiring the public to donate, do more and build loyalty through authentic and compelling communications aligned to Barnardo's strategy. It is a critical income stream—raising over £13 million annually.

About the Role 

As Head of Individual Giving, you will lead a high-performing team of fundraising specialists across regular giving, cash, raffle, lottery, and legacy marketing. You will support in the development of the long term growth plan, work in inter disciplinary teams on campaign development and delivery supporting your team in this new way of working and be responsible for executing the plan so that it drives growth in acquisition, retention, and lifetime value of supporters. 

You will play a key role in the Fundraising & Marketing Leadership Team, contributing to the development of the charity's overarching fundraising & marketing strategic plan and embedding a culture that strives for excellence, focuses on continual improvement, and delivers in collaboration with others. 

This is a role for a experience professional who can translate insight into action, lead complex programmes with agility, and inspire teams to deliver outstanding results. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Strategic Leadership: Support the development of a Fundraising & Marketing growth plan and deliver a multi-year Individual Giving programme that supports sustainable income growth and deepens supporter engagement. 

• Programme Oversight: Lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of multi-channel fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are data-driven, audience-centric, and aligned with Barnardo's brand values. 

• Financial Stewardship: Manage a multi-million-pound income and expenditure budget, with responsibility for forecasting, contingency planning, and risk mitigation. 

• Cross-Organisational Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Digital, Brand & Marketing, Supporter Care, Services and Compliance, Supporter Data & Insight, Communications and Children's Services to deliver integrated campaigns and a seamless supporter experience. 

• Insight led continual improvement: Embed a culture of test-and-learn, using market intelligence, segmentation, and performance data to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement. 

• Leadership & People Development: Lead and develop a large team of direct and indirect reports, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional growth. 

About You 

You are a senior fundraising professional with: 

• A proven track record in strategic planning and delivery within a large, complex organisation. 

• Extensive experience in direct marketing and individual giving, with demonstrable success in income growth and supporter engagement. 

• Strong financial acumen and experience managing substantial budgets. 

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.

The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. The Role

About You

You’ll bring at least five years’ experience in fundraising or a related industry, with a proven track record of building and managing relationships with individual donors or high-net-worth clients. You’ll be a confident communicator and creative thinker with a strong commitment to environmental and social justice.

You will have:

• Strategic leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring teams.
• Excellent relationship management and influencing skills, with confidence in public speaking and representing EFN at high-profile events.

They will play a key role in helping to develop new services and where appropriate will take operational control of these.

About the Role

The Head of Service post holder will take the lead responsibility (under Ofsted registration) as the Registered Manager of CoramIAC. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.

Applying to adopt in the UK is open to anyone already in the process with CoramIAC but we do not actively recruit domestic adopters like other VAAs. Approved Intercountry Adopters may however request to change their approval advice to the UK if they are considered a suitable match for children available and waiting for permanence through Adoption in the UK.

CoramIAC predominantly serve prospective adopters from the global majority and as such recruit and train a highly diverse and skilled group of adopters to enable the best outcomes for children whilst also offering adopter and sector diversity for potentially harder to place children. Purpose of the job

Thames21 is seeking an energetic, experienced and committed person to lead our team of Catchment Partnership hosts. This role will involve overseeing the development of our portfolio of 10 hosted and co-hosted Catchment Partnerships across a diverse landscape of urban and rural river catchments spanning London and the wider Thames Basin.

The candidate will take a strategic overview of all catchment partnerships and guide our team of Catchment Partnership hosts and officers, enabling the enhanced delivery of the four priority themes: –

Stakeholder and community engagement as part of active, delivery focused partnerships.
Project identification and development to support delivery of catchment plans, sub-catchment plans and Thames21’s 5-year plan.
Successful fundraising for delivery of river catchment improvement projects.
Knowledge sharing, to bring people together in a way of working that is inclusive, collaborative, cross boundary and catchment wide.

Finally, the role will take a lead in ensuring the Thames21 Catchment Officer/host role is resiliently funded by working closely with partner organisations to increase investment in catchment partnerships to deliver healthy rivers and catchments.

· Work with Thames21’s Catchment Partnership Officers/hosts to develop their Catchment Partnership networks and ensure each is delivering against clear catchment and sub catchment action plans.

· Lead on the administration and reporting of Catchment Partnerships programme and line management of the Catchment Partnership team.

· Oversee the management of the Catchment Partnership Team budget, working proactively to identify and fill any funding shortfalls.

· In partnership with the Head of Improving Rivers and Catchment Partnerships Officers, develop each catchment partnerships value to partner organisations with a view to them investing in the catchment partnership host role.

· Support Thames21’s strategic work with external stakeholders through working alongside the Chief Executive Officer to administer the River Partnerships in London (RiPL) group.

· Work closely with Environment Agency catchment coordinators to develop multi-year strategic approaches to delivering national Water Environment Improvement objectives and National Success Measures for Catchment Partnerships.

· Help Catchment Partnership Officers identify, develop and raise funding for river catchment improvement projects, taking a leading role in strategic technical funding bids and working closely with the Heads of Improving Rivers and Fundraising team.

· Contribute to the strategic direction of Thames21 Improving Rivers Team and long-term. sustainability of the organisation.

· Arrange, host and coordinate Catchment Partnership Meetings including production of agendas, minutes and actions.

· Oversee the delivery of strategic projects.

The Fundraising Operations and Data Manager is a newly created role in our Fundraising team. They will be responsible for managing the charity’s CRM (Salesforce) and working with colleagues across the team, and wider organisation, to ensure the smooth operational delivery of fundraising processes and activities.

The Fundraising Operations and Data Manager will provide data and donor insights to help identify trends and opportunities that contribute to shaping fundraising campaigns and enhance our stewardship. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Be responsible for the overall management of the Salesforce CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry. This includes processing donations, pipeline updates and managing data imports, exports and migrations to support fundraising activities.
• Create reports and dashboards to enable accurate and timely reporting.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and automation, collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to ensure the smooth operation and optimal use of the CRM.
• Work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Finance Manager to ensure that all donations are thanked in a timely manner and recorded correctly.
• Manage pledge payment tracking and reminders and follow-up processes for multi-year donations. Ensure that data management is carried out in accordance with GDPR and PECR, Villiers Park’s data protection and privacy notices, and the Fundraising Code of Practice. 
• Act as the point person for all prospect research activities, liaising with third party providers and ensuring adherence to data protection requirements and best practice at all times.
• Oversee the recognition framework and stewardship of current supporters, managing a sustainable and creative stewardship programme that engages supporters with our work.
• Create templates and systems that enhance cultivation and stewardship. 
• Generate mailing lists for fundraising and communications, which respond to a range of motivations to give and engagement with the charity. 
• Oversee and deliver operational efficiencies in our fundraising processes, for example, with payment providers and events.
• Any other duties as reasonably requested.

This senior communications and marketing role will be responsible for steering the ongoing digital transformation of CAFODs work, primarily in the supporter programme and also across the wider organisation.

This role encompasses overall responsibility for the brand, digital marketing, messaging, proactive and reactive media relations, with a core focus on digital transformation across all platforms. This post will play a key role in guiding our digital shop fronts and marketing efforts, evolving supporter journeys, steering our email programme and leading on the digital infrastructure to enable delivery of our supporter programme. It will ensure that digital engagement and conversion is embedded and an integral part of our communications planning. 

This role will drive innovation and data-informed insight across the full spectrum of communications and wider organisation functions. It will embed a digital-first approach across teams and guide and accompany the wider organisation on harnessing opportunities of new technologies, making digital engagement integral to communications planning. 

This role will drive brand awareness, brand advocacy and action across our programmes to ensure CAFOD is top of mind amongst the Catholic Community of England and Wales, helping to grow support from our constituency. You will bring proven senior-level experience in digital communications and marketing, ideally within the charity sector. With a strong understanding of communications at a senior level with expert knowledge of digital channels, audience engagement, and online conversion, you also have a strategic grasp of how digital integrates into broader communications and supporter strategies. Your leadership style is collaborative and visionary, and you have the gravitas and expertise to set the digital marketing direction for a large organisation, while bringing all teams along with your vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development, direction setting and delivery of an ambitious, insight-led digital-first communications strategy that enhances supporter journeys, increases engagement and drives measurable growth in support of our supporter programme, especially our parishioner-first fundraising strategy. 

• Act as CAFODs senior expert on communications, advising the Executive team, across departments and influencing strategic decision-making, including on digital direction and development, at the highest level. 

• Lead complex cross-organisational projects that improve our digital supporter experience, from acquisition to long-term engagement and conversion, ensuring timeliness and consistency with supporter programme priorities, especially the parishioner-first fundraising strategy and approach. 

• Provide leadership and overall oversight of external communications and messaging, including brand consistency and press/media engagement, ensuring consistency between our fundraising efforts, our campaigning work and profiling our international work to supporters and key stakeholders.

• Lead and oversee the digital teams - email marketing programme, social media engagement, digital developments, campaigns and the website, to ensure user experience is optimised and platforms support our supporter programme and broader organisational strategic objectives and ambitions. 

• Lead the media team to explore and encourage new approaches including how we further maximise the digital media landscape.

• Line manage senior specialists across digital marketing, website, and media and PR, ensuring high performance and professional growth. 

• Work closely with IT, data and external agencies to ensure agile, secure and effective digital delivery across platforms.
