Key responsibilities

• Maintain a regular flow of engaging content for our websites and newsletters, ensuring consistency and audience engagement.

• Regularly update and maintain the company website. Liaise with internal partners to ensure all content is current and relevant.

Individual Giving Officer
Salary:  £27500 to £30,000 FTE 
Contract: Permanent 
Hours: Full Time, 37 Hours Per Week OR Part time 30 hours per week over 4 days

Job Purpose:

• Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising strategy as a member of the Fundraising Team
• Have day to day responsibility for the Individual Giving income stream
• Manage a portfolio of existing Individual Giving supporters, providing exceptional supporter care and building relationships, stewarding and nurturing existing donors.
• Improve supporter retention and maximise donors’ lifetime value to hyh
• Manage, develop and lead on the use of hyh’s CRM effectively to segment data and make insight-led decisions. This includes developing new reports, liaising with the external CRM consultant to make improvements, writing up procedures and training members of the team in best practice.
• Acquire and develop new donors through solicitation and stewardship plans using a supporter journey programme to build engagement and loyalty.
• Develop marketing and comms materials through digital and other channels to deliver the programme.
• Maximise all opportunities to develop regular giving, appeals, one-off occasion donations, in-mem and legacy

• Excellent communicator in formal and informal communications, both verbally and in writing, to all stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate sensitively; negotiating effectively to generate support among people from diverse backgrounds and all levels

About the Role

As a critical member of the strategic leadership team (SLT) for Emmaus UK, the Director of Partnerships and Federation Development will take lead responsibility for ensuring the provision of high-quality support, advice, capacity building and grant-making for federation members in the UK.

The postholder will play a key role in the development of national strategic partnerships and will collaborate with federation members to ensure that federation strategic priorities are delivered and that our colleagues across the federation are able to do their very best work supporting people to overcome homelessness and poverty.

The role will also ensure effective programme and project management of directorate projects and work to embed cross-directorate working and co-operation.

The Services Manager (Housing) will primarily focus on the managing New Horizon's Housing Advice service, delivered both from the day centre and remotely. You will work with the Head of Services to ensure the service responds holistically to young people with multiple needs or barriers.  You should be experienced in the housing and homelessness sector, be a passionate advocate for young people. and have the ability to motivate a team to deliver high quality services in a fast-paced environment. You should be skilled in partnership management and able to collaborate to identify new housing solutions for young people.

The young people we support in this service are amazing, they are courageous, determined, and brave. These young people have often survived very difficult experiences and have often experienced high levels of violence in their lives. This can mean at times we have to work harder to secure their trust and build relationships with them. The experiences these young people have had in their lives means they can feel frustrated, angry, and upset. We need someone committed to showing care, respect, patience and understanding, someone who understands that challenging behaviour can be a demonstration of the impact of multiple traumas.
