About the role 

As Head of High Value Events, you will be responsible for the strategic development and delivery of a portfolio of high-value fundraising and engagement events. You will lead and coach a team of events specialists, ensuring that every event deepens relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate partners and senior stakeholders, while also driving significant flexible income. 

The role will require close collaboration with colleagues across Corporate, Philanthropy, Government & Multilateral teams, as well as Public Impact, PR, and Influencer engagement teams, to ensure events are innovative, impactful and aligned with organisational priorities. You will also play a key role in managing relationships with senior stakeholders including Trustees, high net worth individuals and event committees.

In this role, you will: 

• Lead and inspire the High Value Events team to plan and deliver a portfolio of exceptional fundraising and engagement events. 

• Secure flexible income by meeting ambitious fundraising targets through strategic event design and execution. 

• Strengthen relationships with high-value donors, corporate partners, and senior supporters, ensuring excellent stewardship and cultivation. 

• Proactively identify and develop new event opportunities to grow income, expand networks, and drive a pipeline of high-value prospects. 

• Collaborate with colleagues across SCUK to maximise impact, ensuring events support wider fundraising and influencing goals. 

• Champion the use of Salesforce to manage and leverage supporter connections effectively.

Overall Purpose of the Head of Services

This new role reports to the Chief Executive and is a member of the charity’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT).  The role reflects planned development and expansion in the charity’s direct service provision including the development of a permanent Helpline following a pilot project in 2025.

As a small national charity, the role combines hands on operational delivery and management with strategic leadership and vision for our Information services, Helpline, and other support services. You’ll lead a talented team of five direct reports (with plans to further expand) and will design, deliver, and evaluate services working closely with Guts UK teams and colleagues, and with external partners.

You’ll be responsible for services strategy and leadership oversight, budget oversight, safeguarding leadership, and services evaluation, ensuring our work is grounded in evidence, shaped by lived experience, and built for impact.

We’re looking to you to lead our strategic priority for improving information services and support including quality of life and quality of care for all those affected by digestive conditions and symptoms.

We are recruiting a Head of Responsible Business at the Fairtrade Foundation. This leadership role will oversee the Responsible Business team, made up of a diverse range of individuals holding knowledge across supply chains and commodities to provide an end-to-end service relationship for our major commercial partners. You will oversee the team to deliver ambitious income targets for the Foundation and impact for farmers and workers globally.  

This role comes at a crucial time to the team as they deepen our partnerships, develop new solutions and innovate our portfolio. The Responsible Business team strategy would be led overall by the Associate Director, with input and shaping form the Head of RB role. The Head of RB will oversee the team delivering this strategy, and provide crucial support across retail, brand and OOH leads and partnership managers to ensure the team is meeting targets and KPIs. The role will also play a crucial role internally (within the Foundation and global system), representing the team on internal forums, delivering key outputs required and driving forward the relevant agendas in the appropriate spaces. This will include team planning, activity and budget reporting, risk management, team meetings / trainings, as well as deputised activities for the Associate Director of RB. They will work closely with the Lead in the team to ensure partnership activities are on track and delivering impact for farmers and workers.

This individual will need to provide the team with relevant technical knowledge. The Head of RB will have a track record of demonstrating commercial and relationship management to build a multi-faceted partnership with different functions of the organisation (both internal and global) from which the team can pull. You will have stewarded and grown deep, holistic partnerships with impact goals across certified sourcing, thematic interventions, insights and data, advocacy and stakeholder engagement. You will therefore be able to provide crucial input to the team and offer support, strategy and senior leadership across retail, brand and OOH partnerships, as well as holding an existing network across the system of relevant relationships from which the team can benefit.

CAP is a national charity that is driven to help release people from debt, poverty and their causes through partnering with local churches.  We do this by providing a variety of services: CAP Debt Help, CAP Job Clubs, CAP Release Groups and CAP Life Skills.  We also help churches teach basic budgeting and money management skills through our CAP Money course.  Our debt help service involves holding client assets. Purpose:

The finance department is going through an exciting period of transformation. Working alongside the Chief Financial Officer and the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will help shape the strategy and delivery of excellent forward-facing financial planning, statutory and regulatory reporting, costing and client asset management.

This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement whilst driving efficiencies across the finance department. Taking ownership of providing potential solutions to enable us to strengthen our core financial processes, from both a systems and process perspective, whilst encouraging thought and challenge around our current ways of working.

This role will take accountability for the oversight and management control of the Finance Operations team, providing outstanding customer service to both our internal and external customers and stakeholders.

• Build and develop a strong finance operations function with robust internal and external controls through active line management and regular training

• Drive the annual statutory reporting process - developing a clear timeline, planning and negotiating with our internal communications team to deliver a high quality annual report for Trustee approval and sign off

• Lead the external audit process, negotiating fees, timetables and take the lead role in all meetings with the Audit Partner and their team. Head of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition

We are seeking an outstanding senior leader to become Head of our small staff team which drives the growth and influence of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition. This is an exciting opportunity to influence positive change at a time of significant policy and political developments.

As Head of the Coalition, you will lead its policy and influencing activity. You will work closely with coalition members to develop policy positions informed by the latest and most robust evidence, ensuring a strong and credible voice. Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Coalition, which is hosted by Centre for Mental Health, delivering its objectives and vision.
• Set priorities in consultation with the Chair, the Centre’s Associate Director for Policy, and Coalition members.
• Design and deliver policy-influencing and campaigning projects with staff, members, children and young people and partners.
• Lead income generation for the Coalition with the Centre’s Associate Director for Business Development, managing relationships with funders, undertaking necessary reporting, and building connections for future prospects.
• Manage and develop the Coalition’s staff team.
• Grow the Coalition’s online presence, ensuring social media and web content is high quality, up to date, engaging and strategically aligned with influencing goals.

BookTrust is the UK’s largest children’s reading charity, reaching over 1.3 million children and families across England, Wales and Northern Ireland each year and delivering evidence-informed programmes that make a measurable difference to children’s reading behaviours. Their work is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to enjoy reading and all the lifelong benefits it brings. The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for stewarding an existing portfolio of major statutory and voluntary funders, and managing BookTrust’s high value and individual giving portfolio. The post-holder will build on significant fundraising growth over the last three years, and will work to further grow and diversify fundraising income to meet the goals of the charity’s recently launched 2025-2030 strategic plan.

The successful candidate will be engaging, experienced and have a proven record across high value fundraising (with a preference for major donor/philanthropy, trusts and corporate partnerships), as well as having a good knowledge of Individual Giving.
