About the role
Each year, thousands of people journey to South Georgia—tourists, scientists, filmmakers, yachts, and research vessels—all of whom require government permission to visit. As Visitor Manager, you’ll be at the heart of managing and improving that process.
Based in Stanley, Falkland Islands, you’ll oversee our visit permitting system, lead on visitor site strategy and briefings, embed our new Entry Control System, and shape the future of tourism policy. You’ll also work closely with our teams at King Edward Point, the Falklands, and beyond to ensure visits protect the islands’ unique biodiversity while supporting sustainable growth.
What you’ll be working on

Managing visit permit assessments across multiple visitor types

Leading implementation of our new electronic Entry Control System

Acting as the main liaison with tour operators, the International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators (IAATO), and partner organisations

Delivering port-call briefings, resources, and biosecurity guidance for operators

Coordinating biosecurity measures and visitor site monitoring across the season

Developing and delivering a 3–5 year visitor strategy for sustainable tourism

Supporting response planning and incident readiness involving visitors

Collaborating with stakeholders to improve systems and collect visitor feedback

About the role

We are looking for an Interim Supporter Engagement Officer on a 12 month fixed term contract, who will be the first point of call for supporters across four areas of our fundraising programme: in-memory giving, individual giving (cash & regular gifts), community & events fundraising and social challenges/virtual fundraising.
Our Public Fundraising Team works closely together to steward our supporters, you would be responding to incoming queries, delivering established stewardship journeys and helping to shape the development of new ways of communicating with our supporters.

The Senior Bid and Funding Officer is a new role for Involve as we seek to build the infrastructure to support the growth that we have experienced in recent years. This role will sit within our Finance & Support Services function and will work alongside colleagues at all levels in the Innovation & Practice, Capacity Building & Standards and Advocacy & Communications functions to identify and provide compelling proposals in response to fundraising and tender opportunities.
As Senior Bid and Funding Officer you will be responsible for identifying fundraising opportunities to bring forwards to the team for evaluation and coordinating the submission of returns ensuring high quality tenders are produced that meet the needs of funders and commissioners. You will support function leads in monitoring fundraising outcomes and comparing to income generation targets, developing a database of funders and improving tender response processes to reduce the administrative burden of tender responses without compromising on quality.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of managing the tender return process in other organisations, either in a commercial or charitable sector environment. You will bring strong project management skills, be able to coordinate tender submissions to set deadlines and have an inquisitive mindset to enjoy researching opportunities and thinking creatively how Involve can meet funder requirements while also advancing our mission.
We work across the UK, with offices in Belfast and London. Many of our staff work from home across the UK or in a hybrid pattern, rather than being based at one of our offices, though we meet up regularly as a team. What you will do:
The Hospitality Marketing Officer is a part-time role of three days a week supporting the marketing of onsite catering and retail operations of Waddesdon Manor, The Bow pub and the Five Arrows Hotel. The role also contributes to Waddesdon Manor and RWL (commercial trading) overall marketing and online strategy, and supports its brand and positioning by working closely with colleagues across both the hospitality and visitor operation.
You’ll develop and implement creative marketing campaigns to promote and increase sales for the following areas of the trading company’s business:

· Wine at Waddesdon (both wine sales and wine related events)

The Hospitality Marketing Officer makes a visible impact on the weekly sales results, monthly profit and loss results and in terms of positive customer feedback.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Input to develop marketing strategies and implement plans to meet commercial targets for hospitality and visitor attraction businesses, in particular supporting increased on-site spend in the Waddesdon catering outlets, including the Five Arrows Hotel and The Bow pub.
- Manage development and update of websites for the Five Arrows and Bow and details of catering and wine events at the Manor.
- Develop strategic marketing campaigns for the Five Arrows Hotel’s core businesses, including bedrooms, restaurant and bar.

- Manage marketing campaigns using the full marketing mix across online and offline channels.
