Job description

Overview:
Lead and grow CWV’s community food hubs and outreach initiatives, ensuring families receive support with dignity and connection to wider services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day food hub operations and logistics

  • Manage volunteers and coordinate schedules

  • Build partnerships with food suppliers, councils, and community organisations

  • Maintain records and data for reporting and impact measurement

  • Develop community engagement activities around health, wellbeing, and inclusion

  • Ensure all health & safety and food hygiene standards are met

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience managing community or food distribution programmes

  • Strong organisational and leadership skills

  • Compassionate and community-focused approach

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and safeguarding principles
