Based in Surrey, the Orpheus Centre is an independent specialist college and charity that focuses on developing independence skills through performing and visual arts and makes dramatic improvements to young disabled adults’ lives.  We are currently looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to develop, coordinate and deliver the charity’s fundraising events and orchestrate experiences from initial concept to post event analysis. This includes pre-event planning and development, concept development and proposal.

Working closely with the Head of Capital Appeal and Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, you will design and deliver events which steward and develop key contacts as part of our Capital Appeal.

The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team.  You will be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks.

35 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Essential qualifications, knowledge and experience:

• 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) or equivalent including Maths and English OR demonstrable literacy and numeracy

• At least 2yrs experience of fundraising, marketing or events in a paid or voluntary capacity
• Has worked as part of a team

About the Role

The primary role of a Family Support Worker is to provide effective, efficient, and supportive service to children and their mothers residing in refuge with Solace Women’s Aid. The staff member will lead on the development of a child and family-centred approach to work in the refuge. In so doing, they will:

• Develop and deliver a range of trauma-informed services to children and young people (0-17 years) and their mothers within the refuge and when they are resettled into the community.
• Ensure ongoing development of age-appropriate children’s activities.
• Ensure the completion of comprehensive assessments of family needs and risk of families, ensuring an integrated approach with children and adult services (internal and external)
• Promote ‘Integrated Working’ through internal and external mechanisms in partnership with colleagues and community partnerships.
• Coordinate the delivery of activities through session staff, volunteers, and student placements.

About You

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable children, young people, and/or families, as well as knowledge of the effects that domestic abuse can have on young people.

You will be familiar with Assessment, Action Planning, and Evaluation for families, with experience in maintaining records. You will also have the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as in partnership with other agencies or professionals, to promote family/child wellbeing.

About the role

As the Brand and Creative Manager you will lead a team of two to collaborate with colleagues across the charity, external agencies and children and young people with cancer, and their families, to create and oversee the delivery of a calendar of content that lead to deeper levels of engagement, greater action and a significant increase in income.

 Supporter Services

•  Lead the development and delivery of the new supporter services function considering people (capability, capacity and culture), processes, tools and technologies needed to deliver outstanding customer service so new and existing supporters feel valued and connected to the ESU’s mission.
• Design and implement supporter recruitment, development and retention plans including welcome journeys and approaches for reactivating dormant supporters.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• 5+ years experience working in a partnerships, supporter services, volunteering or account management role
• Demonstrable experience of having delivered successful services to a range of supporters/customers.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering meaningful supporter journeys across multiple channels
• Demonstrable experience of growing and sustaining a pool of high quality volunteers through successful recruitment and development strategies
• Demonstrable experience of using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) to identify trends and drive improvements.

The role

As Philanthropy Manager, you will shape our philanthropic strategy, develop a new prospect pipeline and secure long-term support from individuals, family foundations, and wealth intermediaries. 

You will work closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation, to identify funding priorities and opportunities for donors. You’ll ensure we develop and deliver a long-term philanthropy strategy, building and managing relationships with wealth managers, private client advisers and networks that can introduce and connect donors to Family Fund. 

You will accurately record prospect and donor activity on our CRM system, maintaining clear pipelines and forecasts, and producing high-quality reports to monitor progress and impact.

The Repairs Manager will work as part of the Property Services team. Assuming day-to-day responsibility for the oversight and coordination of all repair and maintenance activities across all tenures (Supported, Unsupported, Intermediate and Market Rent).

The working hours for this role are 9.00 - 17.00, Monday - Friday.

Role 2 - Research Assistant (Fixed Term 12 Month Contract)

Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting a Policy and Public Affairs Manager to lead a core area of our campaigns work, by building on the organisation’s strong record of creating diverse coalitions of public support and delivering systems change for our beneficiaries. This will support the continuing and sustainable growth in our ground-breaking work to ensure that safe routes to sanctuary exist for all people seeking asylum, and that the young people and families we work with have dignity and safety on arrival.
