The Performance Marketing Specialist will deliver, optimise and evaluate Battersea’s digital advertising campaigns, specialising in paid digital advertising channels such as Meta and TikTok.

At Thomas Pocklington Trust, we’re promoting equality and inclusion blind and partially sighted people in every aspect of society. About the role

The key purpose of the Coordinator role is to support the Senior Engagement Manager to deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across Yorkshire and Humberside and to engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region.  We currently have three Sight Loss Councils (SLCs) in this region, so the postholder will be expected to work alongside the Senior Engagement Manager and coordinate the SLCs activity, focusing on the retention of the volunteers engaged and making sure the projects and work they are involved in, continue with success.

As an experienced Coordinator, you will engage and support Sight Loss Council members in the implementation of the region’s business plans to bring about change across transport, health and the built environment, as well as areas of local interest such as arts and culture or retail.

You will be a self-starter and work well on your own but will also enjoy being a part of a national team working across the country, with whom you can learn from, as well as share good practice with. Ideally you will need to live within the Yorkshire and Humberside region, as there will be travel within the region every week.

Black Thrive Global (BTG) works to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black communities. We embed race equity in systems change and co-create solutions alongside communities. 

Just Like Us (JLU) is the UK’s LGBT+ young people’s charity, empowering 18–25-year-olds to share their experiences in schools and improve LGBT+ inclusion through peer-led talks and ambassador programmes. 

This joint role represents an exciting partnership between two organisations committed to racial justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion and systemic transformation. 

1. Just Like Us (3.5 days/week): To support the delivery of Just Like Us’ Ambassador and School Talks programmes – including recruitment, training and coordination of young LGBT+ volunteers and engaging with schools to foster inclusive environments. 

2.  Black Queer & Thriving: There is potential for this role to expand in scope (up to 1.5 additional days per week), subject to funding. Should this occur, the role may include additional responsibilities in line with the aims of the Black LGBTQ+ Working Group and Southwark engagement priorities. Any change in working hours or duties would be discussed and agreed in advance. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

Just Like Us (3.5 days/week) 

- Support the delivery of the Ambassador Programme, including recruitment, training and retention of LGBT+ volunteers aged 18–25.

The Naval Children’s Charity provides financial and holistic support to children and families around the UK.  We work closely with other charities, have our own team of caseworkers and use an external Armed Forces group case management system, Mosaic, run by SSAFA as well as a bespoke internal database of our beneficiaries, Beacon and a platform called Lightning reach to receive applications.

The role of Database Administrator is to provide the lead on the handling and management of all internal data for the Charity, the development and use of the Charity’s internal database Beacon and to provide administrative support to the Charity, ensuring that all records are maintained and updated in a timely fashion.  Other data administrative support as required. 

Specifics of Role

· Reports to the Head of Finance.

· Works closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), caseworking team and the Office Administrator.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a proactive and relationships-driven Partnerships Account Manager for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate partners.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, expand their portfolio and accelerate income from mission-aligned businesses.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this role will take a lead on nurturing existing partnerships and developing new ones, with a specific focus on increasing income through employee engagement and payroll giving schemes. It will also ensure that each partnership is maximised and aligned with Hearing Dogs’ mission and fundraising goals.

The post-holder will work closely with internal teams and corporate supporters to deliver engaging campaigns, employee fundraising, volunteering opportunities and impactful communications that help raise income and awareness for the charity.

It is a role that will require excellent stewardship, creativity and commercial awareness skills for mutual value – that means you will need strong relationship management and excellent communication skills. A background in corporate fundraising will be essential, alongside the ability to identify and maximise the potential of corporate support opportunities, including financial and in-kind support. You will also have experience of managing charity-of-the-year partnerships or working with employee fundraising programmes.

About the Role

The focus of this permanent role is to manage the development and growth of the Strategic Programmes, in line with the organisations new strategy and core mission to end youth homelessness. As a charitable trust the core purpose includes distributing grants to create sustainable routes out of homelessness and into sustainable independent living for young people.

The Strategic Programmes’ team are responsible for brokering services for charity partners that broaden the offer above and beyond the core grants in three different areas:

• Pro Bono
• Employability
• Property Donation

The focus for all three programmes is now on their growth and the maximisation of their social impact. This follows a period of development and refresh for Pro Bono, and the successful piloting of the newer Employability and Property Donation programmes. All three programmes have proven to be successful, sustainable and scalable. This role is primarily concerned with maintaining the management of the programmes whilst working alongside the Head of Strategic Programmes to enhance them and expand their reach.

The charity relies heavily on the voluntary support of its corporate partners from the real estate industry and this role will work closely with these partners to maximise their contribution to the mission to end youth homelessness. The role will also require you to work closely with charity partners to ensure that the programmes deliver against their needs for maximum impact

Your principal responsibilities will be project management, relationship management, impact & evaluation and communications.

About You

We are looking for someone with a demonstrable interest in CSR, and how businesses can be supported to achieve social impact.

You will also have:

• Experience of designing or delivering CSR or volunteering programmes in support of vulnerable or disadvantaged groups of people
• Experience of developing and managing relationships with senior stakeholders
• Experience of monitoring, analysing and providing robust evaluation and reporting of projects and programmes of work
• Demonstrable project management and development skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively

The Commonwealth Foundation is committed to bringing Commonwealth civil society and its citizens into the centre of discussion and decision-making around critical issues that affect their lives.  As Programme Officer, Knowledge, Learning and Communications, you will be working closely with the Manager in the Knowledge, Learning and Communications (KLC) team and you will engage with civil society issues throughout the Commonwealth.  You should have relevant experience in developing innovative digital content including copy and visual media for a range of online channels. You will need to be able to produce and schedule quality content related to the Foundation’s programmes to build engagement with civil society audiences. This position is only open to applicants with an existing right to work in the United Kingdom.

The programme 

The mandate of the Knowledge, Learning and Communications (KLC) programme is to capture, distil and share knowledge and learning to strengthen Foundation’s impact and effectiveness. The programme brings together a range of functions critical to the Foundation’s identity, coherence and visibility including the facility to learn internally; management of information and infrastructure; leadership of the Foundation’s monitoring and evaluation work; and all aspects of our communications and outreach including reporting.  

The role 

The Programme Officer (PO) will support the effective delivery of the Foundation’s Knowledge, Learning and Communications (KLC) workplan. Working under the supervision of the KLC Programme Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the Foundation’s websites; planning and creating content for our online channels that communicates meaningful results and tells the Foundation’s story in as engaging way as possible; event coordination, facilitation and promotion; support for media relations; support for annual reporting and results monitoring; and support to Foundation staff in the optimal use of communications tools and IT. 

Key tasks and responsibilities 

The postholder will undertake the following key tasks: 

• Actively promote the values and aims of the Commonwealth 

• Monitor and engage with sector news, trends and discussions 

• Plan and create content for all social media channels, monitoring and reporting on social media reach and digital metrics

• Manage content for the Foundation’s websites and work with web developers to develop functionality and meet evolving needs 

• Play a leading role in event coordination and promotion 

• Work collaboratively with the other Foundation programmes, identifying opportunities to maximise synergies towards the Foundation’s vision and mission 

• Guide staff in the effective use of information technology including platforms such as Zoom Webinars and databases like Airtable  

• Generate writing and other media that captures ideas and best practice from one area of our work and communicates it effectively with a wider audience 

• Coordinate and support data collection and monitoring results against our strategy  

• Prepare copy and content for briefing notes, reports and presentations  

• Guide and support staff in their communications 

The individual 

We seek an individual with demonstrated experience in communications gained within a comparable field, especially of social media and online marketing, along with experience of using website content management systems.  The ideal candidate will also have experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and have a good understanding of Microsoft tools and webinar/virtual meeting platforms. They will have strong writing skills and experience in storytelling and reporting, along with an ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. They should have an awareness of ensuring brand and style guidelines are reflected across communication activities and be comfortable acting as a first point of contact for media enquiries as well as liaising with colleagues and external suppliers. 

What we Offer 

Salary expectations:  £32,076 - £35,605 per annum

Fifteen percent of your salary is payable tax-free at stipulated periods in lieu of a formal superannuation scheme.

We are based in Marlborough House, Pall Mall, central London. We are currently operating a flexible working policy which requires all staff to work from the office at least five days per fortnight including every Wednesday, and applicants must be able to affirm their capacity and willingness to work within this policy.
