The post-holder will be responsible for deliver a range of support interventions for people newly diagnosed with HIV, and those re-engaging in their HIV care, who may be identified via Emergency Department Opt-Out testing in Liverpool.

Collaboratively work with Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUFHT) to ensure people living with HIV receive practical, social and emotional support. The delivery of peer support in a clinic setting and, in the community, and onward referrals to relevant services.

Ensure that people living with HIV in vulnerable circumstances are supported to minimise the risk of them returning to ‘need to find’ status and remain engaged in services.

We seek someone with experience working with diverse communities. Knowledge and understanding of the common experiences and need of people living with HIV is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification (such as an NVQ Level 3 or above in social work, health, education) or equivalent experience, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

This is a 3-year funded post with specific responsibility to improve and increase our support to those over 65 who are experiencing financial hardship

In the brand-new role of team leader, you will take on the responsibility of providing structured line management to our existing advice service. Supporting our four skilled and experienced part-time advice workers, while also expanding the service.

You will coordinate and deliver advice and information to new and existing groups including our own Older People’s Lunch Clubs.

Establish new satellite provision, delivering finance workshops, and drop-in services, and providing additional delivery capacity.

Ensure our Advice and Information team keep up to date with changes to legislation and support mechanisms so that they are empowered to support people in a holistic way. This will include signposting service users to the most appropriate support both internally, to other parts of our service, and to other external support.

You will lead on our efforts to gain the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) to ensure our service is of the highest professional standard.

You will represent ICCM on relevant panels and network groups across Greater Manchester. This ensures our service is connected to the wider support landscape and integrated with city and region-wide initiatives.

You will be expected to take on a limited caseload of one-to-one appointments providing advice and information to people.

Between drop-in, group sessions and one-to-one case load it is expected that you will work based on approximately 2 days per week being direct delivery. This is once the role has been fully established.

The Team Leader will focus on:

· Increasing organisational capacity, extending our reach and reducing waiting times.

· Coordinating and developing the team, ensuring the service continues to respond to changes in the welfare system, and that updates are communicated effectively across the team and to the people we support.

· Developing the AQS framework to improve and ensure the quality of work.

· Increase capacity to develop links with other stakeholders and VCFSE, building on existing connections and forging new links with other agencies and referral pathways.

· Ensuring our casework, feedback and monitoring (including our CRM system) is accurate and up to date, so we can best show the impact of our work.

· Supporting our Irish Traveller work to ensure all residents can access our services. 

· Contribute to the delivery of culturally specific training to professionals within health and social care across Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

· Day-to-day supervision and coordination of the Advice and Information Team, under the direction of the Advice and Advocacy Manager

· Provide regular individual supervision to each team member

· Develop culturally specific approaches to supporting older people across Manchester who are experiencing financial hardship. Including extending our reach to new people/areas and ensuring information is available, accessible, and in an appropriate format.

· Lead on attaining the Advice Quality Mark.

· Develop our service knowledge to take account of changes to the benefit system, council tax and energy prices.

· Provide oversight of the referral and booking system and the Case Management System to ensure all client activity is recorded. Working with the Administrator and other staff to ensure the smooth delivery of services.

· Review and enhance the outcomes monitoring system for the service. Ensuring good data collection and reporting internally and for funders.

· Recognise and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and make referrals where necessary in line with ICCM’s policies and procedures.

· Manage a restricted caseload

· Maintain accurate and timely case records and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

About the role

This pivotal role will see you help deliver the Individual Giving (IG) and Retention strategies, working with colleagues across teams in IG to increase lifetime value of cash, regular giving and lottery supporters and collaborating with peers and Heads of team. National Numeracy supports volunteers from our corporate partners to deliver sessions in primary schools

The new Programmes Assistant will work with the Volunteering Manager and wider Programmes Team to

Job Purpose

The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Launched in 2024, Making Waves is our flagship one-to-one music-making programme designed for people at risk of offending or those leaving prison. Over 10 sessions, participants work with a professional producer in our private studio to create, record, and release their own music, building confidence and gaining new skills along the way. Alongside music-making, participants can also gain a King’s Trust qualification in Personal Development and Employability Skills, receive tailored mentoring from Trailblazers to support them into employment, and join our alumni programme for live performance opportunities, industry masterclasses, and ongoing support.

The Programme Coordinator is a new role within the Finding Rhythms team. Based on the success of the Making Waves programme over the last year, we now are in the process of expansion - with plans to increase delivery and engage more participants. The Programme Coordinator fulfills an essential role to support successful expansion of the programme whilst maintaining maximum impact for participants and partners.

To be successful in the role, you will be a highly motivated and proactive individual. You will support the day-to-day running of the programme on site, providing administrative support, and being the first point of contact for programme participants. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

REFERRALS AND ON-BOARDING
● Processing a high volume of referrals of participants onto the programme, in a time-effective manner, ensuring all essential information is gathered and recorded

This is a new senior leadership role at IRMO, created to strengthen the coordination and development of our growing programmes and services. As our work has expanded, so has its complexity. This role has been designed to improve cross-team planning, bring greater consistency to our delivery, and embed a stronger focus on learning and impact across everything we do.

As Head of Programmes and Impact, you will be at the heart of a community-led, Latin American-led organisation committed to advancing migrant rights and social justice. You will play a key role in supporting that mission by helping ensure our work is effective, well-resourced and aligned with the needs of the communities we serve.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers, connect work across teams, and lead our new Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) function. You will also deputise for the CEO and contribute to strategic planning, quality assurance and risk management across the organisation.

As part of IRMO’s Senior Management Team, you will help shape and deliver our organisational strategy. You will also play a central role in our participation in the London Communities Human Rights Programme – a four-year project supporting us to embed a human rights-based approach in all areas of our work, in collaboration with the British Institute of Human Rights.

This is a key leadership role that will help strengthen how we work, learn and deliver together. We’re looking for someone collaborative, values-led and highly organised – with experience in leading teams, coordinating programmes and building strong internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination across programmes to ensure joined-up, consistent delivery and efficient use of IRMO’s resources

• Work closely with the CEO on programme resourcing and development

• Oversee quality assurance, compliance and risk management processes

• Contribute to organisational strategy and planning

• Promote collaboration and shared learning between teams

• Oversee the development and implementation of MEL systems, working with the MEL Officer and Programme Managers

• Ensure data is collected, analysed and used to understand and improve IRMO’s impact

• Lead on internal reporting and contribute to external reporting to funders and partners

• Champion a culture of learning and reflection across the organisation

• Work closely with the Advocacy, Research and Campaigns Manager to align programme delivery with IRMO’s influencing work

• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth delivery across systems, staffing and compliance

• Build and maintain strong relationships with delivery partners, funders and other external stakeholders

• Represent IRMO externally as needed, including at sector networks and partnership forums

• Support the development of funding applications

• Line manage Programme Managers, the Partnerships Coordinator and the MEL Officer

• Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Person Specification

Essential

• At least one year’s experience in a senior management or leadership role

• At least three years’ experience managing programmes or projects in relevant areas

• Experience developing and delivering programme or organisational strategies

• Experience overseeing service delivery in areas such as advice, education, youth or community work

• Experience managing and supporting staff

• Experience leading or supporting monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), with a strong understanding of how MEL supports learning and improvement

• Good understanding of UK employment law, HR best practice, health and safety, data protection and safeguarding

• Good understanding of finance and budget management in a small-to-medium charity

• Awareness of charity governance and the wider UK charity sector

• Ability to collect, interpret and use data to support learning and improve impact

• Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills

• Excellent time management – able to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, or English and Portuguese

• Strong IT skills, including confident use of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and relevant databases

• Strategic thinker with a clear understanding of how to contribute to organisational development

• Open, supportive and inclusive leadership style, with the ability to stay calm and solutions-focused under pressure

• Strong understanding of issues facing migrants in the UK, particularly the Latin American community

We will be building our brand, diversifying our income streams and increasing our donors and giving profile. You will manage a small fundraising team and play an important role on our senior management team. You will be experienced in winning large trust and foundation and statutory sector grants, as well as having knowledge around diversifying funds in a not-for-profit context.

About the role:

When a family member sustains a spinal cord injury it is a life changing experience for the whole family. They can feel very isolated and that no one understands what they’re going through.

Back Up’s Family Support Service is there to help. We enable a wide range of family members of all ages whose loved one is affected by spinal cord injury (SCI) to improve their wellbeing, build a support network and transform their lives through Back Up’s services. 

The Family Support Coordinator will assist in supporting family members on an individual basis as well as in group settings as appropriate, together with providing support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new family support volunteers.

A Family Support Coordinator will be comfortable and efficient with data management and GDPR compliance.

Lived experience of having a relative with SCI is essential, together with sharing our commitment to transform the lives of everyone affected by spinal cord injury.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

• Support a caseload of companions to reach their potential through both practical and emotional support.
• Tailor support plans to meet individual need - setting goals, assigning actions, working with other providers and considering the person’s holistic needs.
• Guide induction and exit processes for companions - to ensure that they understand the core principles of the offer at Emmaus and move on to long term, sustainable accommodation after us.
• Support with incident response - including anti-social behaviour, mental health concerns, challenging behaviour - using de-escalation techniques to manage behavior as it arises.
• Liaise with external providers such as the Community Mental Health Team, General Practitioners, DWP, probation, prisons and CAB to ensure specialist advice and guidance is sought where needed.
• Contribute to the planning and introduction of varied and meaningful activities for companions at Emmaus Hertfordshire.
• Ensure Safeguarding concerns are raised at the earliest opportunity through appropriate channels..
• Attend appointments online or in person with companions.
• Maintain accurate records in line with internal policy and with consideration for GDPR principles.
• Perform tasks to support the effective running of the community. Develop and maintain relationships with external providers.
• Participate in an emergency on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support is available for companions where needed.
• Provide written updates for key stake holders as well as for internal meetings.
• Attend team meetings, supervisions, reflective practice and training as required

About you:

We are seeking someone who is comfortable and experienced working in a small company or charity, understanding that our capacity and resources are limited. A 'can do' attitude and a motivated approach are essential. While direct experience with homelessness may not be necessary, you should have a solid understanding of the common challenges faced by those who have been homeless. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to identify and promptly address risks or safeguarding concerns. Empathy, attentive listening, and strong verbal communication skills are also key requirements. Proficiency with IT and the ability to maintain up-to-date records in our database are necessary. Additionally, you should have the tools to maintain your well-being in what can be a challenging but rewarding role. You will need to demonstrate and build the resilience required to work with individuals who may struggle to engage with services like ours and think creatively to encourage engagement. While practical experience supporting vulnerable adults is highly desirable, we are also interested in hearing from you if you have transferable skills and a willingness to learn, even if you haven't worked in the homelessness sector before.
