Key responsibilities

·You will provide an ethical, professional counselling service at Peacehaven Heights

·Manage the tight time boundaries of the role and the often complex and varied workload

·You will establish good professional working relationships with key school staff. This will include discussion of referrals, waiting lists and appointments, managing a session timetable within the school day and agreeing a process for students coming to and from sessions

Working Conditions

Principle Responsibilities

· Work with a caseload of individual young people to identify and support their aspirations for future employment and formulate plans to enable them to achieve their goals.

Client involvement is at the heart of everything we do. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing our involvement with clients and the communities we work alongside, to give them influence, a voice and control in how we provide our services across the organisation.

We are also just as passionate about our volunteers. Part of this role will develop and enhance our work with volunteers, peer mentoring and student placements to maximise the impact of volunteering across our services, enhancing the support we deliver.

This is an exciting time to join Connection Support as we celebrate our 30th anniversary and turn our focus to preventing homelessness long before it happens, as well as continuing to provide support for those in crisis.

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract. Maternity cover

Hours: Between 22.5 and 37.5 hours per week. This post requires a minimum 30% of the time face to face.

Salary: £42,322 - £47,949 per annum (pro rata for part time), dependent on experience

Location: Based in one of our main offices across our areas of operation (Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes) with flexibility to travel between offices and work from home.

About you

Your experience involves working in client engagement within the social care or similar sector. You are an excellent communicator who thrives on driving organisational change and forging relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.

You are passionate about the value volunteers bring to client services and will have experience in supervising/managing volunteers and developing volunteer programmes/systems.

Job Purpose

The Operations & Project Manager will oversee planning, project delivery, and commercial operations, ensuring that St Bride Foundation continues to fulfil its mission while growing its financial sustainability. This role is instrumental in managing strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and leading teams to ensure efficient operations across venue hire, theatre management, and other income-generating activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Project Management

· Develop and maintain Gantt charts, project timelines, and key performance indicators for organisational initiatives.

· Work as part of the Senior Management team to oversee and deliver key projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

· Improve internal project management processes to enhance efficiency and collaboration across teams.

· Implement long-term strategic plans aligned with the charity’s mission.

2. Operations & Commercial Oversight

· Lead the teams managing commercial areas, including venue hire, theatre, events, commercial lets, and other income-generating initiatives.

· Develop and implement policies to improve operational efficiency, sustainability, and financial resilience.

3. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

· Work closely with external partners and stakeholders to enhance the Foundation’s impact and income opportunities.

4. Risk, Compliance & Facilities Management

· Ensure compliance with health & safety, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.

· Oversee the stewardship of St Bride Foundation’s historic Grade II listed building, ensuring operational resilience and sustainability.

· Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and safety.

· Support sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency and adherence to health & safety legislation.

We’re an ambitious charity with a bold mission and a fantastic culture. As we embark on an exciting 3-year fundraising strategy, we’re looking for a Senior Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This is a newly created role within the team which will oversee acquisition and new product development.

You’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. In this role you’ll take ownership of planning, implementing and reporting on fully integrated acquisition campaigns across a range of channels including DRTV, Digital, Telephone, SMS and OOH.

You’ll work closely with teams from across the organisation and our media agency to ensure a truly integrated, collaborative approach. Together with the team, you’ll identify opportunities, apply learnings from past campaigns, and enhance future performance.

You’ll also be integral to driving forward new product development to acquire new regular givers. Leading on testing across the Acquisition team, you’ll innovate to drive the lowest attrition, best ROI and strongest lifetime value. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to drive the best creative, messaging, targeting and data insights.

What we want from you

Aside from excellent knowledge and experience of working in a direct marketing environment managing fully integrated campaigns, you’ll also have strong digital campaign management experience, ideally gained from a fundraising environment. You’ll have experience in developing and implementing effective testing strategies and ideally also have experience in developing new marketing or fundraising products.

You’ll possess first class communication skills; a strong team ethic and you will be at ease working with and influencing key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ability to manage expenditure budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance.
