We are looking for a Food Enterprise Coordinator/ Lead- someone who will work collaboratively with existing partners and forge new relationships with local food businesses and enterprises to drive change in the food sector, embedding good food principles and practices throughout the supply chain and helping shape how people in Liverpool access food.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Food Enterprise Coordinator/ Lead

Main Purpose of the Job:

• To support the development of a network of food businesses with the aim of establishing and embedding healthy and sustainable practices and values.

• Develop relationships with stakeholders within the food system to support the creation of shorter and more value based supply chains. 

• Develop initiatives, campaigns and strategies to promote good food businesses to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the food alliance’s main point of contact for Liverpool’s social, small and medium enterprises in the food sector. 

• Arrange and facilitate regular meetings to understand the challenges and priorities of the sector and how the food alliance can support them. 

• Work with existing partners to develop a Good Food Business Charter, and support other local food enterprises to become network members and adopt the principles set out in the charter. 

Develop relationships with stakeholders within the food system to support the creation of shorter and more value based supply chains. 

• Alongside key stakeholders, develop a shared definition of what ‘local food’ is, taking into account the capacity of the local supply chain and the needs of procurers.

• Work alongside local food system ‘actors’ to establish connections between procurers and the local supply chain, and identify barriers that require mitigation. 

• Support innovative ways to support local, value based supply chains taking effect. 

• Provide support for both established and newly developed local food access initiatives — including markets, food hubs, and community retail schemes — that enhance community access to healthy and sustainable food. 

Develop initiatives and campaigns to promote good food businesses to the public. 

• Explore existing activities that promote good food enterprises to the public in Liverpool, and align them to the Good Food Plan and Sustainable Food Place Silver Award application. 

• Promote Liverpool’s good food enterprises to the public through well-aligned campaigns, events, and communications.

General Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with Feeding Liverpool’s team, trustees, and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.

• Promote the ethos of the Good Food Plan in all activities.

WVS are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person to join their volunteering team. We offer a range of different volunteer opportunities across the world, supporting our volunteers from their initial enquires, through the onboarding process, during their trip, and following up with them, once they have returned home after their travels.

At Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) we champion animal welfare around the world. We send vets where they are needed most, provide expert veterinary training in hard-to-reach places, and ship urgent aid supplies worldwide, every day of the year.

About the role:

We are looking to recruit an experienced one full-time Caseworker IAA level 2 or above to join our Casework Team and directly support our clients by advising and addressing issues including immigration, asylum and holistic matters. The successful candidate will also take the lead on our newly implemented fee charging service.

We are looking for an experienced and methodical caseworker who is able to prioritise cases competently and confidently follow the processes already in place. You will be working at our Reading or Newbury office and be available to do outreach work as and when required.

Key areas of responsibility include:  

• To provide competent IAA level 1 and level 2 Asylum and Immigration advice, specifically to, undocumented persons, asylum seekers and refugees in Berkshire area.

• Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of IT, HR, and business systems—ensuring effective staff training, consistent usage, and accessible support to maximise organisational efficiency and impact.

• Manage CSC’s documentation policies, digital archiving, and workspace structures (e.g., Google Drive), including the assignment and oversight of access permissions to ensure clarity, security, and ease of use.

Working Conditions
The primary locations for this role will be Cambridge Science Centre's Head Office at 44 Clifton Road, Cambridge, CB1 7ED (assigned desk or workspace) and the Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park, CB4 0FN (hotdesking model).

In addition, there will be travel (primarily driving with a company or hire vehicle) to the semi-permanent centre (Inspire Wisbech Centre, Wisbech, PE13 1AR) and, on occasion a variety of locations across the East of England.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious Mass participation team as our Individual Giving Manager.  This role plays a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our Individual Giving Fundraising. The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for creating, developing and delivering a fundraising plan to grow existing and new support for Winston’s Wish across our online and offline channels. This includes Direct Mails, Regular Giving, our Lottery, Legacies and In Memory giving income streams.

As the driving force behind our individual giving activity, you will help us to engage individuals across the country by bringing them closer to our work, encouraging them to stay longer, give more and become true ambassadors for our vital work with grieving children, young people and families. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

• Lead on the development and implementation of our Individual Giving strategy, supported by the Head of Mass Participation and the Director of Fundraising & Marketing.
• Ensure all opportunities and future plans are in line with Winston’s Wish’s over-arching fundraising strategy to meet financial targets, organisational objectives and KPIs.
• Maintain an awareness of philanthropy trends, news, events and legislation in the UK to ensure that Winston’s Wish remains up to date on key changes which are likely to impact on individual giving.

Generating Individual Giving Income

• Lead on and deliver a plan to increase individual giving income from streams including, but not exclusive to, direct mail, regular giving, legacies, in-mem and our charity lottery
• Effective use of KPIs to ensure decisions are driven by evidence and real-time data.
• Continuously analyse our income and supporter data to measure effectiveness of activities and return on investment.
• Work alongside our design agencies and in-house marketing team to develop and manage direct mail campaigns, including segmentation to ensure campaigns will be carefully targeted and designed to maximise income.
• Explore and test new methods for donor recruitment and increasing donations.
• Seek every opportunity to increase awareness of legacy giving to Winston’s Wish and monitor the effectiveness of these activities over time.
• Manage a growing portfolio of legacy enquirers with appropriate contact and timely solicitation of prospective legators including hosting events and tailored stewardship.
• Manage the stewardship and development of our regular giving programme including uplift campaigns and solicitation of new donors to agreed targets.
• Work alongside the wider fundraising team to ensure effective cross-selling of individual giving products and vice-versa identify opportunities to introduce other fundraising products to our individual givers.
• Identify supporters who could provide compelling content which could be used by the wider Fundraising & Marketing team to inspire further support including suggesting key individuals who could feature in online and offline publications.
• Work with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to ensure that potential major donors are identified and included in relevant activities.

Administration

• Diligently maintain records of all interactions with supporters on Salesforce.
• Ensure all activities comply with appropriate legal, regulatory and fundraising good practice and with Winston’s Wish policies and standards.
• Keep a close eye on incoming donations to ensure they are coded correctly and that supporter data is accurately recorded in accordance with GDPR.
• Effective management and control of expenditure across all projects and campaigns in line with agreed expenditure budgets.

The organisation are a UK based children’s charity that helps marginalised young people to make and monetise music. Every year, the charity raises £10 million to fund inspirational grassroots music projects and support aspiring young creatives up and down the UK. This role is available on a fixed term 12-month contract (maternity cover), where you would work on a full-time basis (37.5 hours a week). You will have the opportunity work a hybrid working arrangement which will include 3 days a week at Southwark based office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The salary for this role is £30,000-£32,000, depending on level of experience.
 
You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and oversee the day to day running of the office. This will involve, co-ordinating meetings for trustees and staff members, ensuring operational systems and procedures are working efficiently, liaising with external partners and suppliers, and assist with making sure the office is health and safety compliant, while ensuring it is a warm and welcoming environment.
 
You will support with finance administration, processing income and expenditure and ensuring prompt submission of monthly financial reports.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working in a busy office environment and strong finance and administration experience.
