About the role

We are seeking an Administration Officer to join our small and friendly team on a part-time basis (15 hours a week) ideally working 5 half-days, Monday to Friday (3 hours each day) but the exact working pattern is negotiable. 

As our Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day operations of our organisation. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for a diverse range of administrative tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across our various service areas. 

You'll be a central point of contact and support, working collaboratively to ensure the effective delivery of our services. You'll expertly manage referrals and information, develop positive relationships with referrers, colleagues, and service users, and handle vital office operations. Your organisational skills will also be key in supporting internal team functions, from HR processes to the coordination of meetings and training, and in maintaining efficient resource management.

To thrive in this role, you will bring proven experience in office administration, ideally gained within a fast-paced environment such as a small business, charity, or social enterprise. St Giles and The Wise Group came together to form a partnership with the aim of supporting the Probation Resettlement reforms by offering a high-quality service underpinned by staff who have lived experience and cultural competency. As a result, we have been awarded contracts to deliver Women’s Services for North Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Durham. The service will provide holistic support to sentenced women in the community and those sentenced and un-sentenced in custodial settings.

About this key role

Our successful candidate will monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from Probation through the Customer Approved System (CAS) ensuring they are successfully assigned to Personal Wellbeing Coaches using the appropriate guidance and process, ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales, plus provide regular activity reports to the Personal Wellbeing Manager.  You will be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, external and internal to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, while also liaising with external stakeholders (e.g. Prisons), delivery partners, spot purchase providers and other agencies to arrange appointments, referrals, and generally ensure information exchanged is done in a clear, timely and effective manner.

Developing and maintaining an Estates log and diary to ensure the team always have an approved site to meet service users in mandated locations when needed and providing administration for meetings, including bookings, invitations and minute-taking, are also vital duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience of managing a case management system including inputting data and creating reports.
• Experience of working in services providing administrative support in a busy, pressurised environment.
• Experience of working in services which provide support to people who have faced adversity and disadvantage.
• Ability to develop and maintain means by which compliance with policy and procedure can be effectively monitored and reported on including financial expenditure.
• Ability to manage their workload including prioritising tasks and communicating with colleagues where delegation or allocation is required.
• Ability to create and communicate performance reports in a variety of formats.
• Ability to input data onto Customer Relationship Management Systems accurately and within agreed deadlines.

As an apprentice, you will work within a parish to develop and strengthen its children and youth ministry while studying with Ridley London. This three-year apprenticeship leads to a Certificate in Higher Education (Level 4) in Foundations in Theology, Ministry and Mission, with a focus on youth and children’s work.

You’ll be employed for 21 hours per week, spending 16 hours in the parish and 5 hours studying.

We are recruiting a Senior Media and Communications Officer to join us and play a pivotal role in promoting Solace’s services and campaigning work to external audiences via the media and social media. The post holder will also support with internal communications, and hold oversight of communications volunteers. This role will ensure domestic abuse survivors, decision makers, supporters and future supporters understand the life-saving services we offer, our hard-hitting campaigns, Solace’s impact on women’s lives and our contribution to bringing about lasting change.

Action on Disability (AoD), founded in 1979, is one of London’s leading Disabled People’s Organisations. The Action on Disability Employment Service is setting the agenda for disability employment across London with great results. We have carved out a role, and reputation, for setting up and delivering supported internships for people with learning disabilities. We provide management, job coaching and employer engagement for over 50 young people with learning disabilities each year across our 6 internship sites.

We are looking to recruit a number of job coaches to support interns and graduates of these programs in their jobs.

Background

Action on Disability is the supported employment service partner on a number of supported internships for young people with learning disabilities around West and South London. They are looking to recruit a number of job coaches to support interns and graduates of these programs in their jobs.

The Post

The purpose of the job is to provide coaching, support and guidance to young people with learning disabilities (17+) within their workplaces. You will support interns/graduates to become independent in their roles and provide the necessary coaching, training and encouragement to enable them to succeed. You will work closely with the employer to ensure they are supported and can confidently manage and train their intern/employee once your support has been withdrawn.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To carry out a detailed job analysis of potential jobs / work placements
• To carry out detailed job matching of service users and jobs
• To comprehensively learn jobs across different sectors – not restricted to but potentially including – Catering, Customer Service, Administration, IT and Retail
• To implement training/coaching plans which will enable the candidates to fulfil their roles to employer standards
• To conduct regular reviews to ensure candidates are progressing within their roles and to identify and meet new support needs
• To build up natural support within employers and taper off one 1:1 job coaching over time
• To negotiate and implement disability-related reasonable adjustments on an individual basis
• To identify client’s skills, strengths, interests and aspirations to inform an ongoing vocational profile
• To liaise with managers to discuss progress and respond to issues

About the role

The DAPO Project Manager will work closely with the DAPO Programme Manager and SafeLives Finance Manager to support the successful delivery of the programme and maintain effective commissioning relationships with service providers across each pilot area. Key responsibilities will include overseeing commissioning contracts, supporting programme implementation, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing regular progress reports to commissioners.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week with flexible working hours and provision of an out-of-hours response as needed.
