Our Finance Manager is an essential part of the LRMN team. Job Purpose
The Accommodation Advisor provides housing support, information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to men within the criminal justice system, ensuring successful resettlement into accommodation. 37.5 hours per week / permanent / working onsite on a seven-day rolling rota, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a four-on-four off shift pattern.

YMCA Hastings provides medium-low supported accommodation for a total of 47 young people at risk of homelessness, aged 16 to 25, and care experienced young people under the age of 18. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Support Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building. Situated just of the seafront, the service has strong links with and contributes to the local community.
We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our Hastings Foyer team. Main areas of responsibilities are:
Safety and security:
- Provide a friendly and professional front-of-house welcome to residents, visitors and staff, and ensure the building is safe, secure quiet and welcoming
- Maximise the wellbeing of residents and visitors by ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols and house rules, all within the terms of tenancy agreements
- Assess and monitor the risks presented by residents to ensure they can keep themselves safe and, where possible, continue their development
- Record all incidents and accidents and share appropriately with the wider team, your manager and, if necessary, the central safeguarding team
Engagement with residents:
- Welcome residents home and provide informal and responsive guidance
- Proactively promote the services on offer and ensure residents are encouraged to engage with those services
Administration and housekeeping:
- Undertake tasks as directed, including but not limited to - inputting data, assessments, reviews, interviews, case notes onto our client database and entering new resident’s details/closing ex-resident records
- Completing health and safety/compliance checks and recording estate inspectors and room checks. Add maintenance requests to our property services system
- Ensure that communal and welcome areas are clean, tidy and free from any health & safety risks
- Answering the telephone from residents and staff in other 24-hour services and answering the door entry system, allowing access to permitted persons and visitors to the service only
General:
- Work as part of a team, on a rota four on four off shift pattern, alongside another Housing Night Worker, ensuring young people at the service have non-judgemental, objective at night, along with taking responsibility for personal safety during periods of lone working
- Contribute to a great working environment, with a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations
- Participate in relevant continuing professional development and utilise Reflective Practice Supervision as part of leading psychologically informed practice

The role

We are passionate about our work rescuing dogs from local authority pounds that are at risk of euthanasia after their statutory 7-day holding period. For over 13 years, we’ve operated on the goodwill and tireless effort of volunteers to support behaviour, training, fostering and adoptions. As our organisation grows, so too does our need for a more structured and sustainable approach. The Canine Programmes Manager is a new and vital management role that will directly impact our ability to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs more efficiently and effectively. This role will initially absorb and professionalise the work currently done by our dedicated volunteer adoptions coordinator, while also overseeing a small but growing team that will include a dog behaviourist and a foster co-ordinator. You will be responsible for streamlining the full journey of a dog in our care—from assessment to adoption and beyond—ensuring our dogs are ready for homes faster, adopted quicker, and retained in homes longer. The successful candidate will be highly organised, people-focused, and animal-passionate, with strong experience in rescue or rehoming management. This role will be working directly with a variety of dog breeds, sizes and temperaments.
Your work will be a mix of working on site and WFH. Flexibility will be required and own transport a must as we are situated rurally.

The Opportunity
The Manager role works across ImpactEd Evaluation. Our partners encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. We aim to deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions to benefit young people.
You will act as a consultant on a range of different partnerships to help partners develop their evaluation strategy and approach. For example, you could deliver independent evaluations for organisations like the Careers and Enterprise Company, Nesta or multi-academy Trusts such as Lift Schools. You will also have opportunities to contribute to development of team strategy and learning and development resources.
As a manager you will act as a project lead, delivering high-quality research projects at scale, and support the creation of specific deliverables for projects led by others. This covers the end to end of research design and delivery, including the creation of Theories of Change and evaluation frameworks, data collection and analysis, and impact reporting to help our partners learn about the effectiveness of their programmes. At manager level you will have the opportunity to take on larger-scope partnerships supported by a project sponsor at senior manager level or above.
We are open to a range of backgrounds, but would expect prior experience of research and evaluation delivery and partnership management. Experience and understanding of the UK education system would also be an asset.
