Are you an experienced fundraiser and skilled storyteller looking for a part-time opportunity?

Charity People are recruiting on behalf of Helen & Douglas House who require an Interim Philanthropy Executive to cover a period of illness for six months, and to support key fundraising programmes during a busy and exciting period for the charity. Working as part of a collaborative Philanthropy Team, you will help grow supporter engagement, steward valued donors, and develop relationships with trusts and foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead stewardship activity for the Children's Champions donor programme
  • Create engaging newsletters, appeals, welcome communications, and thank you messages
  • Analyse and re-engage lapsed supporters
  • Support the planning and delivery of their annual Garden Party stewardship event
  • Manage the Small Trusts Programme, including funding applications, reporting, and prospect research
  • Maintain accurate donor records using Beacon CRM and support wider fundraising activity

You will bring:

  • Experience in trusts and foundations fundraising, major donor fundraising, prospect research, or similar fundraising roles
  • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience engaging supporters, stakeholders, or donors through compelling communications
  • Great relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach
  • Experience using a fundraising CRM such as Beacon

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected charity and make a tangible impact through donor stewardship, fundraising communications, and trust fundraising.
