As Legacy Executive for Battersea, you will have the opportunity to gain further skills and experience of the fast-growing charity Legacy sector. • Manage your own caseload of pecuniary legacies, including corresponding sensitively and effectively with family and friends of the people who have left a legacy to Battersea.

About the role 

This role leads the day-to-day operational management and development of WGN’s Clinical Services, ensuring the delivery of innovative, safe, high-quality, survivor-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive support for survivors of violence against women and girls (VAWG). You will provide clinical and operational leadership across counselling services, supporting therapists and practitioners to manage clinical risk and safeguarding concerns effectively, within a Black feminist, intersectional and Holistic Empowerment Recovery (HER) framework.

This role is offered on a part-time basis (28 hours per week worked over 4 days).

Job description 

As the Clinical Manager, you will:

• Provide operational and clinical leadership across counselling services, overseeing therapeutic pathways, referrals, assessments, allocations, safeguarding and risk management, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed and culturally responsive support.

• Support therapists, High Intensity Therapists (HITs) and honorary counsellors through clinical guidance, recruitment, induction, reflective practice, wellbeing initiatives and ongoing professional development, embedding anti-oppressive, intersectional and survivor-centred practice.

• Lead on safeguarding and multi-agency working, supporting practitioners to respond effectively to risk, maintain safe practice and ensure consistent documentation and ethical information sharing.

• Oversee clinical governance and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to professional standards, robust data protection and confidentiality practices, and the development of clinical protocols and guidance.

• Support monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting, ensuring effective data collection and survivor involvement to inform ongoing service improvement and co-production.

We’re looking for a dog loving fundraiser to be our expert in the growing and exciting realm of prize led fundraising, tapping into new audiences who are looking to contribute to our mission through lotteries, raffles and other prize led value exchange opportunities.

What does this role do?
As Prize Led Programme Manager, you will:

• be responsible for the smooth running of the programme, working closely with external agencies to deliver of lotteries and raffles,
• develop and grow the programme, bringing new ideas from conceptualisation to launch, ensuring we continue to innovate and grow our income through prize led activity.
• work closely with external and internal stakeholders to ensure all programmes are effective and compliant with Gambling Commission regulations,
• coach and manage the Prize Led Campaign Manager, supporting them to deliver high quality work.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience in prize led fundraising, specifically either lotteries or raffles, and confidence navigating Gambling Commission regulation in this area. Crucially, you will ensure that psychosocial, and recovery support interventions are delivered as part of a cohesive recovery plan while working collaboratively with external and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

• Providing face to face and online advice, assessment, brief and structured interventions to help clients achieve their recovery goals, using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural approaches

• Development of collaborative working relationships with external agencies, professionals and groups to facilitate multi agency approach and holistic support
• Development and maintenance of relationships with local services and communities to support identification of gambling harms and pathways into service

About you

You should have significant experience in individual client work in the field of addictions, mental health or a social care setting with adults or young people. 

You should be flexible in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities including Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) tools.

The successful candidate will be expected to be able to work from home thereby having the space for a confidential setting whilst also being able to travel within the region to attend events and offer localised in person support as required.

Our Information & Support Hub is at the centre of that mission to create a world without limits for people with epilepsy. As an Initial Contact Assessor, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for anyone reaching out for help, understanding, support or reassurance.

At Epilepsy Action we recognise the power of collaboration and teamwork, so our team members with hybrid contracts can expect to work a minimum of 40% at our office in Leeds. On average this is 2 days a week, normally on Mondays and Thursdays, for full-time employees. The expectation to collaborate face-to-face is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do which may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to help us create a world without limits for people with epilepsy

What you will do

Every day is different, but your purpose stays the same: help people feel supported from the very first moment they get in touch.

You will:

• Respond to emails and webforms by providing basic epilepsy information and signposting to our range of support services.
• Answer calls to our helpline encouraging people to open up about their situation so you can assess their needs and level or urgency. Using call handling skills to keep the conversation focused and on track.
• Enable people to access our range of support services by making timely referrals or signposting to external organisations for support where the primary need is not epilepsy related.
• Responding compassionately, while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Identify and responding to safeguarding concerns appropriately in line with our procedures.
• Keep accurate, confidential records, contributing to meaningful insights and real impact.
• Play a key role in promoting our services, reaching out into online communities where epilepsy is discussed to raise awareness of the support available.
• Work alongside our wider services team to help every person feel supported on their epilepsy journey with us.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Kentown Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.

As a Domestic Abuse Specialist working for Aurora New Dawn, you will work to strengthen the police response to domestic abuse by providing independent, specialist expertise within police control rooms.

Based in a local police control room you will work alongside call handlers, dispatchers, and officers to:

• assess risk and ensure no opportunities for safeguarding are missed
• quality assure police responses to domestic abuse calls
• review incident logs, DASH/DARA risk assessments, and Body Worn Video (BWV) footage
• provide operational advice to officers deploying to incidents
• identify and facilitate referrals into specialist domestic abuse support services
• improve victim safety from the very first point of contact

Working under the direction of a Senior member of staff you will work independently but collaboratively with Thames Valley police, and in line with our organisational values.

This role involves supporting and developing police staff within police centres. There may also be occasions in the future where you attend callouts alongside officers to observe their engagement with victims, to provide feedback that supports risk assessment and safeguarding processes.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an on-site role which requires you to be co-located within police control rooms and/or call centres during your shifts.

MAIN DUTIES

1. Call Review and Quality Assurance

• Listen to live or recently recorded 101/999 calls to assess victim engagement and identify missed domestic abuse indicators.
• Provide constructive, specialist feedback to call handlers to strengthen practice.
• Review selected calls or conduct sampling to identify domestic abuse calls that may have been missed.
• Review body-worn video (BWV) footage as required.

1. Risk Assessment and Escalation

• Review DASH/DARA risk assessments, police logs, and intelligence systems to identify concerns.
• Escalate cases requiring regrading or altered response times to the Force Control Room (FCR) Inspector, documenting all recommendations.
• Identify risk patterns and ensure timely action to safeguard victims.

1. Operational Advice for Officers and Control Room Staff

• Provide attending officers with relevant operational advice and background information via manual intelligence checks, such as:

Ø  protective order status

Ø  history of prior callouts

Ø  known risk indicators

Ø  relevant vulnerabilities or perpetrator patterns

• Add safeguarding information to dispatch logs as appropriate.

1. Multi‑Agency Work and Referrals

We’re looking for a Volunteer Experience Manager to support our incredible volunteers and their pets, who bring joy and comfort to people across hospitals, care homes, schools and communities nationwide.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you’ll:

• Lead and develop our Volunteer Experience Team, who provide day-to-day phone and email support to our 6,000 volunteers, ensuring volunteers receive outstanding support from first enquiry to retirement
• Support our network of around 80 Volunteer Area Coordinators, helping them support local PAT volunteers 
• Deliver our Volunteer Engagement Strategy, making volunteering with PAT easy, rewarding and well‑supported

About you

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in volunteer management
• Great people management
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience in managing busy, volunteer‑facing services
• Experience using CRM systems and working with data and KPIs.
• A hands‑on, friendly leadership style and a genuine commitment to PAT’s mission.
