The candidate must be highly motivated, maintaining excellent service delivery and support standards even when managing unpredictable or challenging behaviours. A thorough knowledge of relevant legislation—such as welfare reform, the Care Act, and housing pathways—is essential for supporting clients in crisis. They should be confident in engaging service users in assessments and co-producing, implementing, and reviewing support and safety plans, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and regularly audited.
