Brain injury can happen to anyone, of any age, at any time. The Fundraising Team raises critical funds and awareness so that everyone affected by brain injury has the support they need to live well.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Fundraising Coordinator plays a central support role across the Fundraising Team, providing high-quality income, operational and stewardship support, with specialist activities for corporate, community and events fundraising.

You will:

• Be the first point of contact between fundraisers and Headway UK, helping to build initial relationships.
• Ensure effective income management working closely with the Finance Team.
• Help deliver supporter stewardship, welcoming and thanking our community, challenge events and individual supporters.
• Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager, helping with our Corporate Membership and building our new business prospect pipeline.
• Attend key events, alongside the Events Team, including at the London Marathon, London Landmarks Half Marathon, Great North Run and our Annual Awards.  
• Represent Headway at community events, ensuring our supporters receive the best possible experience.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for people with great energy and motivation to join our Short Breaks service which offers a chance for young people with an additional support needs or disability to have fun and take a break from daily routines, and helps families to enjoy quality time, local activities, and connections with others.

Our holiday and weekend activities give parents and carers a break while providing participants with a safe, welcoming space to have fun and receive the care they need. Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.

Family day activities bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. Coordinators develop and facilitate activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Activities take place at outdoor centres, local heritage sites and museums, as well as organised beach days and community centre-based workshops and activities.

Applicants should have relevant experience of working or volunteering with children and young people in education, health or social care, and have exceptional organisational and communication skills. 

Full and part-time positions available, and coordinators are required to work most Saturdays.  In school holiday periods, more activities take place on weekdays (instead of Saturdays), so flexibility is needed. Activities are delivered across Kent, so some travel is required.

we are looking for an Events Fundraising Coordinator to join the Mungo’s Community and Events team. This new post will play a vital role in managing, developing and growing our events fundraising area income stream. 

The Events Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for managing and developing the event fundraising portfolio for St Mungo’s on a national scale, including large scale, virtual, bespoke challenge, third party and individual events. You will also lead on innovation and new projects with the aim of increasing our profile and income, to support our aim to end rough sleeping, and continue providing support to people experiencing homelessness. Key responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop events fundraising programme, supporting the current portfolio and leading on new activities.
• Recruit, steward and grow our event fundraisers and improve retention with engaging comms and increased donor initiatives.
• Lead the development and implementation of a range of fundraising activities, whilst nurturing current supporter relationships and developing new fundraising opportunities.
• Working closely with the marketing and digital fundraising team to promote and raise the profile for our events.
• Oversee end to end project management, and challenge event delivery, solving problems along the way.
• Growing a strong understanding of our donor base and using this knowledge to create, build and nurture new fundraising activities.

Where you’ll be working

In this role you will work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in London. Travel across London and regions in the South of England is also required.

This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for hybrid working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. 

Due to the nature of the role, some evening and weekends will also be required to oversee relevant events. Out of hours work will be offered back in the form of time off in lieu.

While our Central Office is currently based in Tower Hill, London we plan to relocate in the summer of 2026 to a new space in Farringdon, London.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in events, community or individual giving fundraising, with a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and positive donor journeys. Experience in volunteering, marketing or project management would also be beneficial.

About the role

This is a highly rewarding role for an Early Years Home Visitor to work with the ParentChild + Coordinator and to deliver ParentChild+ across Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea areas to deliver the home learning service to families to improve educational outcomes for the children and to improve their parenting skills. The postholder will work closely with Early Years Practitioners in the local authority.

Coram Family Lives is the only organisation licensed to deliver the ParentChild+ in England and has done so since 2017. The programme delivers a model based on a combination of weekly home visits and small group sessions.  Each family receives free toys, books and small group sessions over a period 37 weeks. The ParentChild+ team will deliver the home learning service to 200 children over a 4 year period. The programme also addresses a range of outcomes for parents whose children are at risk of starting school below the expected level, by modelling to parents how to create a rich home learning environment.

The successful candidate must have experience of working with pre-school children and supporting their parents. You should be able to build good relationships, have excellent organisational skills, be proficient in keeping records and entering data and have good written and verbal communication. Commitment to equality of opportunity is essential. Level 3 or equivalent qualification in childcare is desirable.

About Rockinghorse Children’s Charity

Rockinghorse Children’s Charity supports sick and disabled children across Sussex. We support babies, children and young people, along with their families, at The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and all of the specialist children’s wards and baby units throughout Sussex. 

We deliver and fund projects that enable doctors and nurses to do more. All of projects are led by the needs of children and young people and their families – the lifesaving medical equipment, the support for parents and families, the toys for children spending time in hospitals across Sussex, the environments and spaces that help children feel more at home when they are in hospital and additional staff to make sure children get the best possible care when they are unwell. 

Originally set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann, we have been supporting children for more than 55 years, and in that time, we have supported nearly a million children and their families. As the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, including the Trevor Mann Baby Unit, we work with the NHS, charity partners and the Sussex community to ensure children can be children no matter now sick they are.

About the Role

In 2025 we launched our five-year strategic plan, which prioritised our activities to enable us to support more babies, children and teenagers. As we enter the final year of this strategy the charity continues to expand and develop its projects and services children all over Sussex.

This role will support the Head of Finance & Operations and be responsible for organising and managing the charity’s volunteers and the volunteer programme, working across the charity to ensure we have the right individuals to support our work. Duties of the Role 

Support the charity to deliver brilliant projects and services that support children and their families:

· Work collaboratively across the charity team to recruit volunteers with the necessary skills, experience and commitment to support our project delivery, fundraising activities, events schedule and office work.

· Communicate regularly with our volunteer community, to highlight upcoming fundraising and challenge events and ensure there is sufficient and appropriate representation in place per event.

The role:

As Community & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator you will be assisting Peter Bedford Housing Association with its current strategic aims of making a difference for Tenants and Participants and achieving more through ambitious partnerships.

Situated within the housing association’s Enterprises & Training Team, you will lead the delivery of a specific project seeking to tackle food poverty and long-term development needs such as wellbeing and social connection.

You will work alongside the Pantry Coordinator to lead on developing a wrap-around service to enable access to skills training, IAG, and volunteering opportunities for PBHA’s tenants and local communities.

In this role you will develop partnerships to help Peter Bedford Housing Association listen to community needs collaborating with groups supporting global majority individuals to co-produce activities with wellbeing and community connection at its core. A key target of this important project is to work collaboratively to ensure Peter Bedford Housing Association activities and services are increasingly accessible and relevant to any local person who wishes to join.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Identify, build, and maintain relationships with organisations supporting disadvantaged adults to develop skills and build resilience.
• Work collaboratively with local partners to co-produce services which reflect community needs.
• Organise and deliver events, and workshops that develop community cohesion.
• Oversee the delivery of exciting new activities, groups and workshops for Peter Bedford Housing Association tenants and the local community.
• Recruit & Support 15 volunteers to support with delivery of services.
• Apply learning gained through collaboration to adapt and improve the organisation’s approach to engaging individuals from marginalised groups.
• Increase Peter Bedford Housing Association’s community presence to promote its activities & services across the community.
• Monitor and evaluate impact over the course of the 1-year project.
• Develop new relationships with organisations that can support the delivery of a wrap-around service including money advice, talking therapies, pro bono legal advice and learning & development.
• Manage a team of volunteers to support with the delivery of services such as digital inclusion, events and marketing & communications.

Person specification:

 Essential:

• At least 1 years’ experience working with services promoting learning & development, wellbeing and improving people’s outcomes.
• An understanding of community engagement, poverty reduction initiatives and improving outcomes.
• Experience of recruiting and managing volunteers.
• Experience of providing training and delivering engaging presentations in public.
• Good computer literacy including the ability to use Windows applications and word processing and database packages. This also includes the ability to use the Internet and to draft and send e-mails, marketing and communications for events.
• Experience of focusing on individuals’ strengths and of learning from mistakes.
• Experience of working in an outcomes focused way.
• A demonstrable commitment to promoting social inclusion through collaboration and innovation.
• Can positively contribute and take initiative, good negotiation skills
• Able to constructively challenge and lead positive change- including with assumed constraints and the abilities of people with ongoing mental health needs.

About the Role

Supported Lodgings Coordinator (Wigan) - 7 Months FTC

Help shape a new Supported Lodgings service and make a real difference to young people aged 16–21. In this fast‑paced role, you’ll assess need and risk, coordinate placements with trained community hosts, and provide practical, strengths‑based support that helps young people build stability, skills and confidence on their journey to independent living.

You’ll also recruit, train and support hosts, work closely with partners across housing, care and safeguarding, and actively promote the service in the local community. If you have experience supporting young people at risk of homelessness, strong safeguarding skills and the energy to build trusted relationships, this is a chance to turn commitment into action and deliver lasting change.

Please note that this job opportunity is offered as a full-time (37.5 hours a week), fixed term contract role (7-Months FTC).

Key Deliverables

Young People

• To be the first point of contact for young people and referral partners wanting to access the Supported Lodgings service.
• You will lead on the assessment of needs and risk, predominantly focused on suitable risk management plans for the safeguarding, matching and placement of young people in the homes of hosts
• Arrange all aspects of a young person’s stay with a host, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported, taking into account the support needs of individuals.
• You will have responsibility for ensuring the health and safety of the environment for young people and hosts through regular checks and reporting.
• You will provide regular support and planning sessions for young people
• To work with young people, hosts and other agencies, to prepare them for independent living and access longer term, appropriate accommodation using support plans.
• You will be part of a team responsible for a 24 hour on call service

Host Recruitment and Support

• You will recruit, vet and train hosts both formally and informally ensuring that host recruitment policies and procedures are implemented.
• You will support and provide regular supervision to hosts.
• You will be proactive in maintaining host’ skills and motivation, including training and celebration events, and provide opportunities for them to shape service delivery.
• You will be responsible for carrying out regular checks on host accommodation and assisting them to make necessary changes.
• You will ensure that all hosts are made to feel safe, secure and valued.

External Relationships

• You will proactively work in partnership with multiple agencies including statutory teams, to support the well being and ongoing housing needs of young people, working in accordance with safeguarding, data protection and information sharing protocols.
• You will lead on the active promotion and selling of the Supported Lodgings service to all potential hosts and referral partners, across the voluntary/statutory sectors and within the wider local community.

Others

• You will be an active member of the Prevention Team, working collaboratively and effectively with your line manager.
• You will be responsible for maintaining up to date records on all young people and hosts, supporting service management with all aspects of report requirements.
