You will have excellent financial management including the development, improvement and management of systems and processes to increase operational effectiveness, with proven experience of successful business planning including negotiating and managing contracts. Crucially, you will be able to engage, influence and share best practise with external partners and internal stakeholders at all levels.

On a day-to-day basis, the CO will have the overall responsibility for delivering environmental action, including litter picks, supporting volunteers, ensuring that activities are delivered on time and within budget and that targets are met. S/he will have experience of working in communities under pressure, be committed to a community-led approach and be capable of establishing and running environmental sessions, including litter picks and chairing of community meetings.  S/he will have the  skills and personal qualities to build strong, trusting relationships, and the confidence and maturity to encourage and support others to take a lead.

 Key responsibilities:

· Organizing litter picks with residents and local groups

· Liaising with strategic partners (LBBD, NHS, BRL, Be First etc).

Additional Information:

Supporting the recruitment for both our retail and office roles, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of the recruitment service including:

Working arrangements

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to grow revenue from trusts and foundations, building on the organization's current annual income of approximately £800,000 from these sources.
• Conduct prospect research to identify new funding opportunities aligned with the Liverpool Philharmonic's mission and programs.
• Craft compelling proposals, reports, and other materials that articulate the impact of Liverpool Philharmonic's work and make a persuasive case for support.
• Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective trust and foundation funders, cultivating strong relationships through exemplary stewardship and communication.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Philanthropy and other colleagues to align fundraising efforts and ensure a cohesive donor experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of successful trust and foundation fundraising experience, with a track record of securing significant grants.

• Proficiency in budget development, financial reporting, and data analysis.

Key Information:

• Salary: £33,500 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)

• Hours of work: The contracted hours for this post are 35 hours per week, but part-time work will be considered for the right candidate. Normal office hours are Monday – Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm but working flexibly across evenings and weekends is sometimes required. There is the option to work from home up 2 days per week, depending on the business needs.
