As a Project Worker at our Stacey Street service in Islington, you will play a crucial role in transforming the lives of adults who have experienced homelessness or rough sleeping. About you:

Our Camden Housing First and Health team is offering an exciting apprenticeship that places you at the centre of meaningful change for people experiencing homelessness in London. As a Health and Wellbeing Apprentice, you will work closely with our dedicated health leads to support residents who face barriers in accessing care, helping them take positive steps towards healthier and more independent lives. Whether it’s accompanying clients to appointments, recording important data, assisting with administrative tasks, or helping to deliver creative and engaging health events, you’ll play a hands on role in breaking down obstacles and opening doors to better health and wellbeing. About the role:
Our Women’s Respite is a vital service that provides safety, stability, and support for women with complex needs – from those escaping domestic abuse to those facing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use, and trauma.
As a Specialist Complex Needs Worker, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of women who have experienced violence against women and girls (VAWG). Working within our accommodation service, you will support clients facing multiple disadvantage, ranging from complex needs to medium and lower levels of support, always tailoring your approach to each individual. This is a role where gender-informed and trauma-informed practice is at the heart of everything you do, ensuring that each client is met with understanding, dignity and a pathway towards safety and stability. You will work closely with external partners and attend multi-agency forums such as MARAC, helping to reduce harm, open up opportunities and ensure every woman feels safe enough to take their next step forward.
Your days will be as varied as they are impactful, one moment you may be facilitating a conversation to encourage engagement in training or education, the next you could be connecting someone with specialist mental health or substance use services, arranging access to primary healthcare or building confidence through meaningful activities within the hostel. Every interaction is an opportunity to empower clients to sustain their accommodation, improve wellbeing, strengthen community connections and move towards independence.
About you:
- Experience supporting women with complex needs, including those who have experienced VAWG, homelessness, mental health issues, or substance use.

You’ll join a small, dedicated team in a psychologically informed environment, working closely with partners like St Mungo’s Recovery College to deliver tailored support.
Islington Mental Health Service, Islington – 1 x Support Worker
This service supports 50 adults with severe and enduring mental health needs across two hostels and two semi-independent projects. You’ll provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to help residents build confidence, develop life skills, and work toward independent living.
About You
Above all, you will have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives. If you have a good understanding of the complex issues faced by homeless people; personal experience of homelessness yourself and some experience of supporting vulnerable people through a process of change, we encourage you to apply.
You'll also need good interpersonal and listening skills; patience and resilience. We will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with clients in a holistic and person-centred way.

The Safe Haven Crisis Hub is an out of hours community crisis service, the Hub provides a safe space for individuals who may feel that they are at risk of a mental health crisis. The Safe Haven provides short-term support and social prescribing to individuals who are vulnerable and isolated into relevant support service pathways.

Our client is one of the largest women's hostels in the UK for vulnerable women affected by homelessness. They offer support to women with a range of complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health issues and domestic violence, and provide these support services in a warm, welcoming and secure environment. They are now recruiting for 2 Education, Employment and Training (EET) Workers to deliver meaningful activities and EET opportunities for women. Please note these roles are initially offered on a 6 month FTC until 31st March 2026.
As our client’s new EET Workers, you will work as part of a small, tight-knit team, delivering meaningful activities and employment, education and training opportunities to a variety of vulnerable women, mostly on a 1:1 basis. You will empower services users by developing life and employability skills and providing opportunities for involvement. Working with women mostly on a 1:1 basis but also in a group setting, you will facilitate sessions for women with varied support needs as well as effectively working with prospective partners across the homeless sector as well as external stakeholders including professional agencies, training providers and recruiters.
To apply for this role, you will have proven experience of supporting hard to reach service users, ideally in an employability capacity, although this is not essential. You will have experience of providing personalised, tailored, trauma-informed support to a variety of people with complex needs and will be warm and approachable in your manner. You will have the ability to motivate those with complex needs to engage with education, training, and employment opportunities and will ideally have experience of working with partner organisations to support the needs of NEET people and those at risk of NEET.

As Day Centre Manager, you’ll lead a flagship service at the frontline of London’s homelessness response – a hub visited by hundreds each month. - Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team– line-manage a Coordinator, Support Worker, volunteers and peer mentors; set clear rotas, coach great practice and keep morale high.
