As Fundraising Officer, you will support the overall fundraising target for The Stoll Foundation and provide excellent administrative across the team. You will be working with the Fundraising Manager with mailouts and funder visits and support the wider fundraising team in delivering written appeals to individuals for regular giving and legacy campaigns. In addition to this, you will support colleagues to put-on high-quality fundraising events by providing strong administrative support and acting as first point of contact for event participants and attendees where appropriate. You will support on departmental and Stoll wide meetings, preparing agendas, distributing papers, taking and circulating minutes. You will also ensure that the fundraising database, donor files and other written documents are accurate, kept up to date and regularly reviewed.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• High level organisational skills to handle varying administrative tasks effectively
• An understanding of, and commitment to evidence of working in a fundraising team for at least 6 months
• Highly IT literate, with previous knowledge of donor databases and project management systems

Job purpose:

The External Affairs Manager will work closely with the Director and provide vital support to NACCOM and its members by: 

• Ensuring the strategic planning, management and alignment of communications, policy, research, campaigns, and advocacy as part of the External Affairs function at NACCOM. 

• Ensuring NACCOM’s external affairs functions feed from and into our network development work and our Community Ambassador / Research programme 

• Growing and safeguarding NACCOM’s brand identity, integrity and strategic positioning across all our external channels, networks and audiences. 

• Line-managing and supporting the Policy and Research Co-ordinator, Community Research Facilitator and part-time Communications Co-ordinator (currently covered by a freelancer) as well as managing any external consultants NACCOM works with across the External Affairs function. 

• Along with the Director, acting as spokesperson for NACCOM.

• Overseeing the spend against budget for External Affairs-related work.

About the role

Our residents in this service have experienced long-term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services. That's why they're here, to make a change and gain the support they need to enable greater independence and recovery.

As a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provides person centred support to our residents, you will work to ensure safety and wellbeing of our residents. You will support mainly the night shifts to ensure the service runs smoothly at night, being a point of contact for residents, engaging with them to ensure their safety comes first, and running various evening activities for engagement. You will build trusting and professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through one to one sessions, group sessions, and general wellbeing check ins. During quieter hours, you will be responsible for ensuring administration is up to date, the service is kept clean and tidy, and will support with additional ad hoc tasks. 

About you

We're looking for someone who has a true passion for what we do as an organisation, and particularly in supporting those who have faced homelessness and may have other complex needs. Our residents needs are at the forefront of service delivery, so someone who can build trusting professional relationships is key. You will be adaptable, proactive, and able to use your initiative to resolve challenges, and keep the night service running smoothly. You will be able to work within a team, and have previous knowledge of the needs our residents may have. Each support plan is tailored to the individual, putting their needs first for the team to be able to deliver support to their needs. What are we looking for:

• Understanding of the needs of those who have faced homelessness and have various complex needs including mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency
• Ability to use IT systems to record case notes, email relevant people, and use other software required within the role

We are SIFA Fireside, the support service for any adult in Birmingham that faces homelessness. For 40 years we have supported Birmingham’s most vulnerable people through Homelessness Intervention, Prevention and Recovery services.

The Adult Lead Worker service is based at our main hub in Digbeth but provides city-wide support to adults experiencing multiple disadvantages. This service provides flexible, strengths-based advice and support to people aged 18 years plus who experience two or more of substance use, poor mental health, history of repeat homelessness and offending history. Clients may also be serially excluded from services or be at risk of exclusion from mainstream services.

This is a targeted service that aims to build resilience, improve health and wellbeing and move people towards independent living at an early stage, in order to prevent or delay the need for crisis interventions.

The Lead Workers will also act as a community navigator linking the client into local services and activities, ensuring access to and receipt of necessary care and support that will vary for each client.

Rainbow Migration is the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system and has been campaigning for their rights since 1993. We are recruiting a Senior Casework and Service Coordinator to assist the Support Services Manager, provide guidance and advice to colleagues, and manage incoming queries from service users.

Rainbow Migration has grown in recent years from a small charity generating £200k income in 2019 to £1M in 2024. The Senior Casework and Service Coordinator is a new role that will take on some of the responsibilities of the Support Services Manager, freeing the manager up to work on service development and strategic matters.

Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time (minimum 28 hours) will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £36,994 with potential annual step increases up to £41,315 (pro rata if working part time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, we consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. About this key role

We are thrilled to be working with a youth homeless charity as they search for a passionate Senior Philanthropy Manager to join their incredible team. They are the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, campaigning to end homelessness of youth by 2037.

The Senior Philanthropy Manager role leads the Philanthropy function here, driving the team forward as they embark on the cultivation of a strong new prospect pipeline. As part of the role, you will be responsible for a team bringing in income of over £1.3m per year, with a view to double income over the next 3 years.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an innovative major donor fundraiser to lead a team of 3 at this incredible youth charity. As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for an income stream of £1.3million with a view to, and the potential to, double income over the next few years. Philanthropy has been identified as a key growth area and is getting the investment and buy-in from senior stakeholders and the wider charity. The team have also recently conducted a wealth screening exercise which has identified numerous opportunities for the team to explore. This is an exciting role for someone who is ambitious, creative and keen to make a significant impact on the shape and growth of a high value programme. 

The Role:

• The Senior Philanthropy Manager will lead the philanthropy programme, inspiring and developing a team of 3 to deliver income in excess of £1.3million annually
• Develop and implement a philanthropic giving strategy with a focus on retaining, uplifting and recruiting gifts from high-net-worth donors
• Take responsibility for developing the major donor pipeline and drive forward new business opportunities to achieve sustainable income growth over the next 3 years
• Personally steward a portfolio of donors and prospects at the 6-figure level, with ambitions to build relationships with individuals with capacity to give 7-figure donations

About You:

• Proven experience at managing a philanthropy programme with demonstrable success at growing income
• Significant pipeline development experience and ability to effectively engage with prospects and lapsed donors
• Strong relationship management skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Experience managing direct reports to support them in their own development and enabling them to thrive in their roles

Role purpose

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Head Fundraiser to lead efforts in securing financial support to continue our vital humanitarian work. With the goal of expanding outreach and strengthening our services, this role will be at the heart of driving real impact in the lives of the homeless, families/households, refugees displaced by war and natural disaster.

From organizing community-led events and securing grants to managing fundraising campaigns, the Head Fundraiser will play a key role in ensuring our mission thrives. Whether it's providing meals to those in need, distributing essential seasonal supplies, or supporting youth and educational programs, the money raised will go toward uplifting communities and those in need in the UK and beyond. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Identify and apply for at least two grants each week to support Madina Mercy's charitable projects.
• Develop and implement online marketing campaigns for fundraising, collaborating with the marketing team and volunteers.
• Expand the volunteer base by reaching out to communities and identifying new recruitment opportunities.
• Identify key festivals and activities where Madina Mercy can promote its work, providing guidance and facilitating involvement.
• Strengthen social media presence and expand brand awareness.

General Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies, including grant applications and sponsorship opportunities.
• Organize and execute major fundraising events throughout the year.
• Expand community engagement initiatives to raise awareness and build supporter networks.
• Manage social media and marketing campaigns to increase outreach.
• Plan and oversee awareness events to further engagement between the charity and the local community
• Work closely with volunteers and community leaders to maximize impact.

•  Obtaining licenses and permits from the local councils for city centre and street collections/marketing campaigns, also for the distribution of aid.
• Establish connections with universities and secure permission to set up stalls at freshers' fairs to attract young volunteers.
• Guide and oversee a comprehensive marketing strategy that showcases the charity's core principles and long-term mission, particularly in cities where projects are already established.
• Ideally, the candidate will have an existing network of donors and supporters that they can engage for fundraising efforts.
