You will provide appropriate emotional and practical 1-to-1 support to (those who identify as) women and non-binary people involved in sex work and those who are sexually exploited, who often experience stigma and face barriers to accessing services. This role will specifically focus on those who are experiencing DV, support will include addressing housing needs. You will be enabling people to access support and navigate services, You will be working in partnership with other agencies and making appropriate referrals for people to access other services to support their wider needs. You will contribute to wider team responsibilities including outreach, drop in and duty.

We are looking for passionate practitioners to provide proactive support to individuals impacted by gambling harms. As part of our team you will deliver and develop our offer of gambling support and play a key role in engaging and inspiring a range of diverse communities.
Facilitate referrals, provide advice / guidance, assessment, brief and structured interventions, and group programmes to individuals experiencing difficulties with gambling.

We have roles available in the North East and Yorkshire & Humber regions.
North East: Focus on support for adults, working peripatetically across the North East and including travel to the service’s Gambling Hub in Sunderland.
Yorkshire & Humber: Focus on support for young poeple 16-24,working peripatetically within the community in Yorkshire & Humber.
Do you have?
- A professional Diploma (Level 4) or equivalent in a relevant field e.g. Health and Social Care, Counselling, Psychology.
- Experience of providing 1-1 or group support in a community setting.
- A passion for developing and delivering quality community services, working in partnership to develop reciprocal relationships with other services and organisations.

The administrator supports the Basis Yorkshire Leeds office. The post holder is responsible for providing and maintaining an efficient and professional service user focused administrative support function to the people we support and other stakeholders of Basis Yorkshire, ensuring discretion and confidentiality.
