London Gypsies and Travellers (LGT) is an organisation that challenges social exclusion and discrimination, working for change in partnership with Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people. We work with families across London Boroughs, including those living on council caravan sites, roadside camps, in bricks and mortar housing, and those experiencing homelessness.
Our Bright Futures programme offers mentoring and skills support to young Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people aged 15–25 years. Through tailored one-to-one work, group activities and practical help, we support young people to build confidence, motivation and pride in their identity, while developing the tools they need to succeed in wider society.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Youth Project Worker to support the delivery of Bright Futures. This is a varied role that combines project coordination, outreach support, administration, and direct engagement with young people.
You’ll help keep the programme running smoothly behind the scenes while also building trusted relationships with partner services and young people and families, supporting communications, and contributing to learning and reflection.
What will the role involve?
As a Youth Project Worker, you will:
- Support the day-to-day administration of the mentoring and employability programme, including record-keeping and report preparation
- Help coordinate communications activities such as creating new material, WhatsApp updates, and social media
- Maintain and grow referral networks with employers, training providers, and community organisations
- Engage directly with young people and their families to raise awareness and encourage participation
- Hold a light caseload of mentees and support mentoring activities as needed
- Contribute to programme monitoring, evaluation, and learning

Contract Terms
This is an initial 6-month contract, with continuation dependent on funding and satisfactory performance.
We have strong funding prospects and are currently awaiting decisions on multi-year funding applications, expected within the next 2–3 months. We are committed to continued delivery of Bright Futures and want to bring someone into the team who is motivated to grow with the programme.
Subject to a positive funding outcome and strong performance, we would aim to extend the contract at the earliest opportunity.

About Shooting Star Children’s Hospices
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Family Support Team at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby, child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or whose child has died. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, our teams support families across Surrey, north-west London and south-west London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care. Family support is provided to families in 15 different languages.
About the role
Family Support Workers (FSW) are the frontline of our care. Each FSW holds a caseload of end-of-life and bereaved families. They get to know their families, and check-in regularly with phone calls and home visits and can provide enhanced emotional support where required through more regular contact and interventions. Our FSWs tell families about the many services they can access at Shooting Star, assess their needs and make recommendations to our multi-disciplinary team. They support families of different ethnicities and families living in poverty, helping our service be as accessible as possible. This includes providing support in a family’s first language. Several families cared for by Shooting Star speak Gujarati.
Our FSWs work closely with our Therapists, Counsellors, Social Workers, Transition Team and our Care Events Team. Weekly MDT meetings bring the team together to think of ways to help families in crisis. The work is varied and creative, taking place at the hospices, in family homes and hospitals, allowing the support to be where the families need it. Our Family Support Workers are hugely appreciated by the families we support.
The ambition of our strategy is to ensure every family affected by a life-limiting condition, or the sudden death of a child, has access to the specialist care that they need. Day to day duties are:
- Being the on-site duty FSW, welcoming families on site, monitoring email inboxes and answering the Family Support Line.
- Helping with support groups and family events
- Providing on the spot emotional support, sometimes in a crisis where a calm and supportive response is required.
- Visiting newly bereaved families in their homes – specifically Gujrati speaking families.
- Supporting families staying at our Christopher’s hospice (booked stays and end of life).
- Attending various locations over the course of a week: hospice, hospital, family homes.
- Building connections with families from different backgrounds, delivering culturally sensitive care.
- Helping safeguard families at risk of harm.
- Acting as an ambassador for Shooting Star’s Specialist Bereavement Service, supporting other care team members with their learning and delivery of the bereavement pathway, and continually seeking ways to improve what we offer families.
The post holder will need to have a UK driving license.
The hours are predominantly worked 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Once a month, the FSW will work a weekend day (with advance notice). This is in place of a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday that week.
About you
This role requires experience of working with children and families who have experienced hardship, or those with complex needs. You should have a calm, positive manner, conveying empathy whilst maintaining professional boundaries. We are looking for someone who is fluent in Gujarati, who is passionate about supporting children and families.

About the opportunity
As an Impact Analyst you will work within a team of skilled analysts. A key programme you will become an integral part of delivering will be a community based, preventative emotional resilience and wellbeing pilot called Turning Tides
Turning Tides is a two-year pilot programme testing innovative means of protecting and promoting the mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable young people along the North Yorkshire Coast. The programme leverages local organisations and their expertise, providing each young person a dedicated coach who works to identify a participant's strengths and ambitions – and takes a community-based asset development approach to match those goals with opportunities in the local area.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include.
· Overseeing all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
· Gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact of service innovations for the programmes you are working across. Produce regular reports and insights that aid decision making to continuously improve programme design.
· Taking initiative to propose and implement relevant analyses to the project to maximise positive impact for participants with the programmes you are supporting.
· Building relationships and working at times directly with Delivery Partners (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services for the programme) to ensure they are able to use the data systems accurately and effectively,
· Identifying opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data by colleagues across the programme.
· Supporting the Programme Lead on all operational and project management needs, including coordination of team activities and providing other administrative support.
· Working with the Investment Lead and colleagues in Finance, to ensure invoices for outcomes achieved by participants within programmes are processed.
· Engaging with other analysts across BOP to share learnings from your own project and implement learnings from other projects in your own.

The Role

Clouds House delivers a structured interpersonal and 12 Step treatment programme, designed to help those with substance and behavioural addiction maintain abstinence and develop long term sustainable recovery. Over the last 40 years Clouds House has helped over 12,000 clients work towards a life in recovery and helped to create a growing recovery culture through our alumni. Our ambition is to significantly increase recovery capital, whilst offering treatment to as many clients, irrespective of means, as possible. Working within our therapeutic programme delivery with clients and ensuring that recognised theoretical frameworks are utilised in the provision of the therapeutic treatment programme e.g. motivational Interviewing, cognitive behavioural approaches, 12 step philosophy, interpersonal group psychotherapy. Completion of comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, management and treatment plans and group therapy with clients and individual counselling and/or case management sessions and attending inter-disciplinary meetings and communicate with other leaders within and outside of the treatment setting. The ideal candidate Ideally you will be in counsellor training and willing to work towards Level 4 or above counselling qualification and knowledge of addiction and its impact and experience of working with, (at times) distressed individuals and experience of listening to their needs and communicating respectfully and clearly, you will have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team and experience of thinking creatively with the team to create meaningful outcomes for clients and family members. My role is Finance Assistant working in a busy team. Duties will include:
- Ensure all payments are allocated to customers' accounts and posted onto systems accurately and promptly; investigate and correct anomalies.
- Ensure queries and adjustments to accounts are dealt with promptly and within agreed timescales.
- Liaise with customers to facilitate prompt payment and accurate posting of monies received.
- Provide information to internal and external auditors as required.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant legislation, procedures and best practice for the Accounts Receivable function.
- Maintain accurate data, managing large complex data sets in Excel and in-house systems.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need:
- Prior experience working in a Finance team in a large complex business.
- Good understanding of the principles of double-entry bookkeeping and the implications of accounting entries in general.

Job Purpose
This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is a core and out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. Our aim of the service is to keep individuals well in the community and prevent readmission into hospital. The service operates 365 days a year from 14:00-22:00pm across all of our boroughs.
Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone or virtual on a one-to-one basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis or preventing crisis.
The objectives of the service include:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health and social crisis in HFEH.
- To proactively work with keeping people well in the community to reduce re-admitters into hospitals by working with WL NHS teams (e.g. discharge, LPS, CATT, MINT and SPA)
- To provide a true alternative to A&E via a non-clinical drop-in service to support clients
- To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation and crisis recovery planning.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
- To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation
- To increase self-management skills of those accessing the service
- To reduce the use of police, ambulance and statutory mental health services whilst experiencing crisis via a drop-in service.

The Role
The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of senior support workers and support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site and allocated borough following the borough-based approach. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service. The role will include implementing a smooth running of the service including facilitating debriefing and providing senior support onsite. The role of the team manager is non-clinical.

Although we are open to a variety of candidate experience, the overall team must be absolutely focused on achieving successful grants applications and Fundraising that delivers no less than £185k p/a, and significantly more to meet our growth aspirations.
So, you could have a proven track record of fundraising and providing accurate forecasting to CEO and Trustees with a good knowledge of, and existing relationships with foundations and grant-giving organisations, or, you might be a strong administrator, ideally with some experience of managing the full life cycle of a grant applications. All team members are expected to own and progress multiple Grant applications and own a fundraising target of thier own
We are looking for up to 2 people to join our fundraising team. These are part time roles (max hrs expected to be 18hrs) depending on applicant. Ideally we are looking for one very senior experienced Fundraising Manager (and minimum salary will be adjusted accordingly) and one Grant Administrator but overall team success is key and org structure can be adjusted accordingly.
Location: is flexible but applicants must be prepared to be in the office in Farnham with the rest of the Fundraising team and Director of Services at least half a day a week
