This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our established ‘’Someone To Talk To’ service in a newly created role of ‘Team Lead (Engagement and Support)’. We are looking for a highly motivated and committed professional to work alongside other Team Leads to lead and oversee STTT service delivery across Centre 33 hubs in our South Locality (Cambridge/South Cambs/Ely).

Team Leads will work closely with one another and Heads of Service to jointly ensure the multidisciplinary teams deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people. Successful candidates will bring strong expertise and leadership to the Centre 33 practical and holistic support offer for young people aged 13-25 years and understand how this fits within the context of the wider support systems locally. They will have demonstrable experience of working within a practical support or youth work role and feel confident to support and manage colleagues delivering safe and effective work with a caseload of young people who access our drop in support and ongoing support offer. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will develop strong relationships with local organisations to ensure effective joint working and support for young people. They will retain a small caseload to support YP with more complex needs. The Team Lead will provide day to day designated Safeguarding leadership across the locality team, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services.

The Organisation

The Winchester Diocesan Board of Finance (WDBF) is a Charitable Company established under the Diocesan Boards of Finance Measure 1925. All APs operate to a national agreement / rules.

Purpose of Job Role

1. To provide double cover for the Approved Premise in accordance with the rota.

2. Ensure smooth operation of the premises, with an emphasis on risk management and health and safety

3. To engage with residents and enable and motivate them to attend appointments and activities in order for them to work towards successful resettlement.

Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters. 

The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and partners, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. Key responsibilities will include prospect research and new business development, compelling proposal and proposition creation, account management and event and campaign planning. The role will be hands on, focused on operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven ability to deliver income and activity targets in corporate fundraising, with a strong knowledge of corporate fundraising techniques.
• A track record in fundraising with evidence of the successful stewardship of four-figure and above partnerships/gifts, ideally with some exposure to multi-year partnerships.
• Experience of building bespoke fundraising propositions for corporate partners.

The newly created Financial Controller position offers a rare opportunity for a technically strong, ambitious, and commercially aware finance professional to play a key role in reshaping East End’s finance function and influencing decision-making at a senior level. About the Role 
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to support the Senior Finance Manager in the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations. You will play a key role in maintaining financial controls, supporting the annual audit, processing transactions, and delivering timely financial reporting. Key responsibilities 
To provide high-quality administrative and financial support across the Finance Department, acting as the first point of contact for finance enquiries and managing the finance inbox. This includes maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks, processing invoices, expenses, and payments, performing regular bank reconciliations, and managing credit card accounts. Supporting the Senior Finance Manager in producing timely and accurate reports—including departmental budgets and management accounts—and assisting with preparing documentation and liaising with auditors for the annual audit.  
 
What We are Looking For 
The ideal candidate will have experience in a finance or accounting support role, with working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures—ideally including QuickBooks. At St Mungo’s, our Pan London Rough Sleeping Teams (No Second Night Out and Somewhere Safe to Stay, Rough Sleeping Prevention Project) provide rapid response services to ensure no one has to sleep rough. Our work is ongoing, and we’re looking for compassionate and dedicated people to join our Pan London Assessment Hub and Staging Post Accommodation.

As a Rough Sleeping Hub Assistant (internally referred to as Hub Assistant), you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe, welcoming, and efficient daily operations of the service. Working alongside your team, you will: 

• Provide essential support and guidance to clients. 

• Be the first point of contact for visitors and clients. 

• Help coordinate health and safety measures within the service. 

Flexibility is key, as you’ll work within a rota to make sure support is available when people experiencing homelessness need it most. 

Working hours are Monday – Friday (7.5 hours per day), with exact shift times to be agreed.

About the role:

The Social Care IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process, specialising in working with women whose families are involved with Family Children Services and risk to children is a factor.  You will work to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. This role is part advocacy, part training/education and project work to improve response to victim/survivors experiencing domestic abuse. You will be embedded in the local authority Family Children Services team, working with Social Care professionals to ensure they adopt a trauma informed approach, can recognise the dynamics of domestic abuse and are providing more holistic support. You will be the domestic abuse subject matter expert on site, upskilling fellow professionals and acting as a point of contact for any clients experiencing domestic abuse and support requirements from Family Children Services.

The Social Care project was established in 2021 and has been working in partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Family Children Services, so the IDVAs will inherit strong working relationships and a commitment from all parties to offering more trauma-informed services.  The borough has a focus on prioritising and developing good DA work in social care and this is an opportunity to be a major player in institutional change, ensuring that women accessing Family Children services for their children have an improved experience and that the local authorities are leading the way for all survivors engaging with their services.

Advance delivers nationally accredited, quality marked services in Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Brent, Ealing, and across parts of East London. We work within a coordinated partnership response to domestic violence to provide independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women, children and young people and women’s community services for women who are involved in the criminal justice system, in anti-social behaviour or are at risk of breaking the law.

About You:

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse in various areas of need, with particular knowledge on children safeguarding/legislation. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence, of supporting women with child safeguarding, needs, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

To be successful as the Social Care IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:

• You will establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with housing services and partner agencies.Provide high-quality crisis intervention, information, advocacy, and proactive support to women referred to the service, in respect to risk management and safety planning, criminal and civil remedies, housing, health, welfare rights, and children’s legislation.
• Your abilities extend to assessing the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support and identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs.Advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies and proactively advocate to ensure barriers to accessing support and protection are reduced. You will work as an advocate and educator to raise awareness and upskill professionals within Children Social Care plus work with colleagues to successfully develop and deliver training.
