Job description

Do you enjoy HR administration across the employee lifecycle? Would you like to work in a friendly, welcoming team where your efficiency will be valued? Do you want the freedom of a flexible location where you can work either from home or from our offices, depending upon what you prefer each week?

In this role, you will focus on providing outstanding customer service to our stakeholders across One YMCA. We are looking for someone who has previous HR experience including using a HR system. The successful candidate can demonstrate great attention to detail and have the ability to work in an environment with conflicting priorities.

We may interview on a rolling basis, so please don't delay sending your application.

You will be responsible for administering all people operational processes that spans the entire employee lifecycle. You will be a point of contact for people query-related matters, you will be responsible for maintaining our Employee systems with quality and accurate information. 

  • Administering new starters and on boarding. Write offer letters & contracts of employment.
  • Manage the compliance process of employees including pre-employment checks
  • Oversee administration and transactional activities and input onto our Employee system (SelectHR & Workspace)
  • Act as a point of contact for employees and managers, including the management of the Human Resources inbox.
  • Administer processes including absences and parental leave

Hours, pay and location: This role is full-time and pays £23,540 per annum. You will be able to work from home. You will be able to work from home but will able work from our offices when you would like to attend - we can be flexible.
