As our Interim HR Advisor, you will play a key role at BookTrust in taking forward our ambitions. With your experience and skills, you will be able support and develop the organisation as we continue to go through significant change to deliver our strategy.
You will have the experience and skills to ensure that our HR processes are managed to a high standard, and you can work with the organisation in delivering highly effective HR support. This will involve working with the HR Lead, our Team Leaders and Senior Managers from recruitment, onboarding, payroll. This includes the maintenance of the HR Information System, supporting core processes and the provision of frontline HR assistance to colleagues on HR issues, where appropriate.
You will also have experience and will be skilled in building strong internal relationships. You will be comfortable taking a deeply collaborative approach and be keen to work alongside expert colleagues in BookTrust to deliver our strategy.

We are looking for a qualified finance professional to join our friendly team in the post of Head of Finance & Corporate Services as we develop our systems, infrastructure, and income streams to secure our long-term sustainability. Central to the success of our strategy is an efficient finance function providing timely management information and strong financial controls.
You will be an astute finance professional who is able to provide sound financial advice as well having a strong grip on day-to-day financial operations. You will also ideally have experience of HR, IT, and administrative functions, and will assume company secretary responsibilities, enjoying direct liaison with our Board of Trustees.

We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
Absolutely central to this is designing, commissioning and managing complex and rigorous impact evaluations with experts in the field. The new government has an ambition to halve knife crime within a decade, and we’re anticipating opportunities to work with them to build evidence on new approaches to tackling violence involving children. Serve as a senior member of the team. YEF is buzzing with activity and in order to prevent any bottlenecks, we need to expand our senior capacity.

Run and manage closed calls for complex evaluations commissioned under Targeted Projects. For each of the programmes we work with, we find and appoint independent evaluators.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior HR Admin transitioning to managing an HR standalone function. This is an interim full-time role based in Farringdon, with occasional travel to Bristol. You will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the development of the HR function at Deighton Pierce Glynn (DPG). The role supports all aspects of HR administration, the activities relating to recruitment & development, diversity & inclusion, promoting positive employee relations, reward, wellbeing and helping to ensure relevant HR policies and procedures are understood and followed. About the role
We’re looking for a Human Resources Advisor with strong experience in employee relations and policy development to join our People Team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the HR Business Partners and act as the escalation point from our People Operations Team, offering comprehensive, pragmatic people advisory services across the organisation. You’ll support colleagues and managers on a wide range of HR topics, including employee relations, recruitment, and policy improvement.
This is a key role that doesn’t involve direct management responsibilities, but you will play a pivotal part in coaching and advising managers and colleagues. What the job involves
We’re looking for a People Operations Advisor to join our People Team on a fixed term basis. This is a great opportunity to work with a wide range of colleagues across the Charity and get to see firsthand the work carried out, to create a world where no man dies from prostate cancer.

What we want from you
We’re looking for a people focused, self-motivated, HR professional, who is experienced in building effective relationships with their team, managers, and employees; comfortable in providing guidance and support employee relations issues. You’ll be CIPD qualified (level 5 of studying towards this) or with experience working at this level. You’ll have strong people skills and integrity, be able to communicate well with others and quickly build credibility. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and experience of administering and maintaining accurate records and dealing with contracts and contract changes. What the job involves
We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our People Team on a fixed term basis to play a vital role in providing exceptional HR support to our colleagues.

What we want from you
We’re looking for a people orientated, self-motivated and hands on professional, who is experienced in providing excellent operational services within a busy HR/People team. You’ll be CIPD Level 3 qualified or committed to qualifying with experience in providing excellent operations services in a busy HR/People Team.
You’ll have strong interpersonal skills and integrity, be able to communicate well with others and quickly build credibility. It’s a given that you’ll understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion when working in a trusted role with access to highly sensitive information and effectively managing a busy and varied workload won’t be anything new to you. You’ll be able to work flexibly and responsively in a fast paced and demanding environment exercising good judgment and using own initiative. You'll be a great team player and will do what’s needed to help my colleagues. As a small team we’re very supportive of each other.

The person we are looking for will:

Employment Details
Contract type
This contracted post is for 28 hours per week and may very rarely require some out of hours or weekend work as required. We welcome application for flexible working including reduced hours and other flexible working arrangements.
Location
We support hybrid working to suit our team. When in the office, the post holder will be based at Russia Lane but some travel across east London may be required to meet the needs of the service.
Salary
Between £31,930 and £35,020 pa pro rata for part time. Plus 5% employer pension contribution.
We have recently introduced a salary bands system. This salary range refers to the lowest and top steps of the grade. Salary will progress every year until the top salary is reached.
Holiday entitlement
