Based at the 999 club in Deptford, a safe and welcoming space for those experiencing homelessness Move+ is the latest of the 999 club’s service offerings which also include a drop-in day centre, employment & training support, advocacy & advice, a women’s space and the Bridge, our evening service for people in mental health crisis.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge service within the sector. The overall aim of Move+ is to enable people who have been homeless to draw upon their shared experiences and support one another to escape homelessness for good. Move+ empowers people to live independently, to set up and maintain a stable home, while working towards long-term goals and aspirations enabling them to move forwards with their lives. This is achieved through a combination of peer coaching, personalised support and an exclusive program of workshops and activities.
Working closely with the Coproduction Manager as part of the Specialist Services team, you will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day delivery of Move+. This includes line management of a team of Peer Coaches, focusing on support, personal and professional development. You will conduct assessments and manage referrals, build and maintain relationships, as well as promote the service, both internally and externally. Overall, you’ll ensure a high quality of service delivery that meets or exceeds targets and, most importantly, supports and empowers all participants.

The Diocesan Safeguarding Team supports parishes and senior clergy to safeguard children and adults who may be at risk of abuse and neglect, and those in abusive relationships.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
Training
- In conjunction with the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, facilitate a safeguarding learning and development programme for the diocese aligned with the national church Learning and Development Framework, Church Safeguarding Standards, reflecting the specific safeguarding responsibilities of those in role.
- To administer all lay and clergy safeguarding training run by the Diocese in line with above, in approximately 80 sessions a year. This includes: producing a deadlines document; administers the sessions on Zoom / Teams, posting courses on Eventbrite and operating as content manager for publicity on the Diocesan website.
- To administer bookings for training courses; copy course materials and respond to emails and queries on training matters, ensure compliance of work submission required before and after courses.
- Log entry of all course participants onto a database to ensure each person has a personal safeguarding training record, and each parish has a safeguarding training profile.
General Administrative
- Work with IT and Information and Data Manager position to produce reports for the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser on safeguarding training issues and trends, and annual statistics represented in charts and graphs for inclusion in the annual safeguarding review.
- Produce quarterly reports on training compliance for Archdeacons and the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel meetings.
- Helping to organise and minute meetings when the safeguarding administrator is not available/on leave.
- Support the safeguarding team with other tasks and projects as identified by the Safeguarding Administrator or Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser.

As Human Resources Advisor you'll be joining a small, friendly and supportive HR team providing advice and support to managers and staff across the full range of employee life-cycle activities. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Retention

Lancashire Mind is a local charity working to prevent poor mental health. We support people experiencing common mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. We work with children and adults, offering universal services to help people improve their mental wellbeing, along with targeted services for people and communities at increased risk of experiencing poor mental health or facing mental health inequalities. It's vital we do this to identify need and understand barriers and to design services alongside people. We do this well on an individual service level, with many of our projects designed with the people who use them but we need to improve how we involve people with lived experience in organisation-wide development plans and key decision making.
To help us work towards our plans for embedding participation, we're looking for someone to join our Engagement and Inclusion Team to work with the communities we aim to serve, with a focus on those who are underrepresented within Lancashire Mind services. We're looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Operations Lead who will ensure the smooth running of CCX day-to-day operations. As lead of the Operations Team, you will oversee the finance, HR, coordination of data, IT applications and integration, and corporate governance functions.
The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) helps the Church make disciples in new and renewed ways. We work with willing partners across the Church to catalyse multiplication, equipping leaders through adaptive learning pathways.

CCX’s organisational structure is a hybrid management model, blending elements of both functional and project-based structures. Project teams are formed to address specific initiatives, tasks, or delivery projects. These teams are cross-functional, comprising individuals from different specialties, typically with a project manager working under the direction of a CCX lead. The two core teams of Operations and Media operate as shared services across the organisation.
Under the direction of the Bishop of Islington, a suffragan bishop of the London Diocese, CCX supports church planting and church growth work in London, nationally and beyond.
Collaboration and partnership will be key features of this role, working closely with the Bishop, Chief of Staff, and Team Leads. This role has a strong focus on agile and efficient systems development and improvement, resource optimisation and stakeholder engagement.
They are expected to perform duties with a high degree of independence, initiative, and judgement, including knowing when to resolve issues and challenges directly and when to escalate.
Key Duties and Accountabilities include:
● Ensure the deliverables of the CCX Operations Team are met in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
● Establish and maintain agile operational structures and systems necessary for CCX's missions, including but not limited to finance, people management, procurement, IT and data management, business applications, corporate governance, and facilities management.
● Manage and supervise staff or contractors within the operations team to ensure effective performance, including roles such as Business Applications Manager, Finance and Office Manager, Data and HR Coordinator.
● Develop, implement, and maintain corporate policies, strategies, and procedures pertaining to finance, human resources, IT, data management, safeguarding, and governance.
● Ensure the capacity and capability to provide support services to CCX team and stakeholders, such as dioceses, church leaders, church planters, TEIs, and Together partners, by recruiting and retaining skilled personnel and providing necessary resources.
This is a full-time role (1 FTE)

SPANA - The Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad is the global charity for working animals in low-income countries. Since 1923, we have supported the welfare of working animals, including donkeys, horses, camels and elephants, in communities that depend on working animals for water, transport, agriculture and their very survival. We are looking for a Global Resources Coordinator to ensure operations within our global resources team run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include providing general administrative support to different teams within Global Resources, manage supply of office resources and equipment, arrange travel, managing relationships with key suppliers, coordinating schedules and meetings and supporting HR administrative duties.
While we classify this role as hybrid, it's worth noting that the vast majority of your work can be done from the comfort of your own home. Occasional in-person visits to our London office (located in Borough High Street), and all-staff gatherings will be necessary. Our full time hours are 34.5 hours per week and we offer core working hours between 10am and 4pm.
Key responsibilities
- Assist staff and visitors with travel booking and coordination when travelling overseas, including booking flights, arranging visas and travel vaccinations.
- Main contact for travel agent building good working relationship.
- Support the Global Resources Director to coordinate and track all insurance policy renewals.
- Liaise with insurance brokers on renewals to ensure competitive costing and ensure timely renewal for all insurance premiums.
- Maintain and order office supplies, stationery, and equipment from the most competitive suppliers.
- Manage and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job adverts, preparing weekly vacancy listing, supporting interviews, checking references, and drafting employment contracts.
- Support induction processes for new joiners.
- Maintain the employee absent management system and support with any changes/updates.
- Preparation of documentation for all aspects of the employee life cycle, including leavers, changes to terms and conditions, maternity and paternity and flexible working requests.
- Support the Global People and EDI Manager to coordinate the appraisal process, ensure appraisals are conducted and collate training needs into a report for review and action.
About you
- High level working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven experience providing administrative support across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain complete confidence.
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff always showing tact and discretion.
- The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
- Personable and happy to help others with a keen interest in improving processes.
- Practical experience of working within or supporting HR is desirable.

Working arrangements

About you
