The Assistant Locality Manager will support the manager and their team of Support Workers in a variety of ways - delivering the highest possible care to the people we support, ensuring compliance to organisational policies and procedures assisting with rota planning and shift management, using different IT Systems to ensure full compliance in H&S checks managing their time effectively across two locations working alongside the Locality Manager to ensure that colleagues are supported and managed effectively in line with the company values. Acting up as manager when the Locality Manager is unavailable to ensure safe running of the homes and compliance is maintained.

About the role: This is a diverse and exciting role, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Support the Locality Manager with the smooth operation of the service, including rota management, reviewing and updating support plans and assisting with the recruitment and development of a team of Support Workers. 
• Work with relatives, healthcare professionals and external agencies to ensure that the needs and interests of the people we support are met and upheld. 
• Serve as a role model to a team of Support Workers, demonstrating excellent practices of support.

What will I need? To be considered as an Assistant Locality Manager you will need:

• Experience of working with people with a wide range of needs - for example, autism and complex learning disabilities
• The ability to prioritise workload, manage your own time, delegate tasks and meet deadlines.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the personalisation agenda and Active Support provision.
• The personality to develop positive working relationships across Discovery – including the people we support, their families, internal colleagues and external agencies.
• Have or be willing to work towards a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care/Leadership and Management for Care Services.

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for the day to day management of recruitment activity, ensuring we meet annual targets for 800+ seasonal positions working with children and young people. The Recruitment Manager will generate and apply attraction strategies, line manage a team of recruiters, lead candidate interviews, implement and measure recruitment targets and activity and recommend improvements to the Head of Recruitment and Compliance. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead IRMO’s Education, Training and Employment (ETE) programme. You’ll manage a dedicated team and oversee a range of initiatives that support our community’s social, cultural and economic integration in the UK.

The ETE programme offers tailored English classes, one-to-one coaching, employability workshops, vocational training and mentoring. It also includes oversight of IRMO’s volunteer scheme, which is an integral part of service delivery and offers meaningful roles for volunteers across the programme. The Programme Manager will play a key role in developing and strengthening this area, and we are currently working towards the Investing in Volunteers quality mark.

These initiatives help people build the skills they need to access and progress in the UK labour market, while also increasing their civic and social participation. The purpose of this role is to build on our programme of strategic engagement with our key audiences, in order to build our presence, influence and networks in a wide range of UK sectors and topical issues. This includes leading the design and delivery of some of our focused programmes in which we award Fellowships and supporting the Fellows awarded into these programmes to help them increase their UK impact once they’ve done their overseas learning. This role is responsible for delivering all engagement activity across our Arts and culture, Community and citizenship, Environment and resources and Governance and public provision universal themes.  

Key responsibilities:

Programme Development and Delivery

• With oversight from the Engagement Director, and working with members of the Advisory Council to develop the focus and goals of a three-year Fellowship programme within our Governance and Public Provision universal theme through a process of desk-based research and consultation workshops
• Working with the Head of Comms to design and plan the launch of the new programme to applicants
• Working with the Head of Fellowship to design a support package for applicants into the programme
• With oversight from the Engagement Director, creating and facilitating a Working Group of Fellows, partners and Council members to support the cohort of Fellows awarded within this programme. And working with the other Research and Engagement Manager to develop and enhance our approach to stewarding these Working Groups including ones already in place for our other programmes.

• Supporting the Engagement Director in the recruitment and stewardship of Knowledge Partners for this programme and other programmes under your four thematic sectors

• Salary c. £43,000-46,000 per annum (5 days per week / 36.5 hours)

We have embraced the benefits of working from home and at the same time, we value the contribution of face-to-face contact in building teamwork, collaborating with your colleagues, exchanging ideas and know-how, and for work efficiency. We therefore operate a hybrid working policy, where staff can work from home if they wish, however everyone is required to work in the office a minimum of 1 to 2 days a week with Tuesdays as the core day for regular whole team meetings.

The Trust Administrator is responsible for maintaining the core administrative functions of the Trust to ensure the smooth operation of the charity, enabling its mission to ensure healthy rivers for wildlife and people. Reporting directly to the Finance and Resource Manager, the Trust Administrator will work with a range of internal and external contacts to ensure routine business functions, human and physical resources, supporter liaison are working well. The role will involve working closely with a range of suppliers, stakeholders and the Estate from which the office is leased.

The role will require exceptional organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and working flexibly in an agile environment. Experience of organisational administration in the public, private or charity sector, and experience of HR, meetings administration and IT are essential while purchasing and negotiating with suppliers is desirable. A helpful and positive attitude is needed, as is a willingness to embrace flexible ways of working. Adherence to certain policies and procedures is essential, including requirements such as data confidentiality and upholding a culture of professionalism.

Whilst the role is predominantly aimed at internal support, including for Trustees and supporters, external liaison will be required with suppliers, funders, partners, and the public.
