Reporting directly to the Trustee Board, the Chief Officer will:
·Provide leadership, strategic and operational oversight of Rainbow Haven.
·(with the Trustee Board) Ensure the long-term financial sustainability of Rainbow Haven.
·Develop and oversee the delivery of high quality services in response to changing external and internal pressures.
·Ensure appropriate support for an experienced and committed staff team.
·Maintain effective partnerships and develop new partnerships across statutory and voluntary sectors to enhance the range, volume and quality of the services Rainbow Haven can offer.

About the role
In partnership with Gateshead Council, Sustrans is opening an Active Travel Hub at Birtley library. This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans and support people in Gateshead to walk, cycle, and wheel, by providing practical, impactful support.
As the Project Support Officer, you will work with the Project Coordinator and Project Officer to provide support on a variety of projects that promote active travel in communities, workplaces and educational settings. You will also support the recruitment and development of volunteers in the area.
This varied role will see you working in partnership with local authorities, community groups and schools around the region along with volunteers and third sector organisations to increase walking wheeling and cycling activities and commutes, increase levels of public health and wellbeing.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected to a nominated hub/office base in Birtley, Gateshead.
About you
You should have some experience of working or volunteering in community or environmental projects, and experience of working with volunteers and in public-facing roles.
Knowledge of engagement techniques and behaviour change initiatives is desirable.
You should be able to work well as part of a team and have good communication skills, as well as able to work independently and manage your own workload.

About the Team and Role:
As a Facilities Housekeeper, you will be a vital part of the team ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the estate for The Scouts Association (TSA). This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same—you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including maintaining our bedrooms and communal areas to the highest standards, supporting events, and helping with operational tasks.

Job Purpose
Working across fundraising and communications you will develop and manage your own portfolio of existing Trusts and Foundations, community and individual donors, and research and prioritise new opportunities ensuring high quality stewardship to secure ongoing support. Trust Fundraising

Develop, manage, and maintain a trust and foundations fundraising portfolio with a clear, scheduled pipeline of funding applications, coordinating opportunities and team resources to meet targets.

Cultivate strong working relationships with current and new trust and foundations, proactively seeking meetings, ensuring excellent relationship management.

Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling proposals and reports.

About the role
Working closely across the small team at SIDA, this post offers an exciting opportunity to support and coordinate knowledge-exchange communities of practice across a network of actors on global sustainable development in Scotland, including members from public and private sectors, academia and civil society. The role will support our members to contribute effectively to global, sustainable development by developing learning opportunities, tools, and resources based on members’ needs, as well as on key developments across the sector.
The postholder will lead on the planning, delivery and evaluation of SIDA’s programme of learning activities for members including workshops, peer learning events, mentoring, webinars and other events on key topics of interest to the sector. The jobholder will be expected to support other events hosted by SIDA such as the annual conference when needed and to generally support the team deliver against the strategic objectives.

Reporting into the Director of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement, this strategic role is essential to the future growth of the charity’s profile and income. This role will lead the Transformation and Innovation function within Fundraising and Supporter Engagement which acts as an internal consultancy and change management function to challenge the status quo, foster a culture of innovation across all teams and look for and support the implementation of new and improved ways of working to drive increased profile and income diversification.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work with the Director of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement oversee the roadmap and implementation of our Fundraising and Engagement three-year strategy

· Support Heads and wider teams to monitor and report on KPIs for the successful deployment of the new strategy, monitoring impact and recommend any adjustments

The Role
The Children, Young People and Families Engagement Officer will help to lead engagement with children, young people, their families and caregivers at the Cathedral working across the whole of the Cathedral’s life and with churches in the Deanery and in the Diocese and other partners.

We are looking for two Complex Needs Practitioners to join our team in Aylesbury. The purpose of the role is to engage people in a variety of interventions, using a person centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes.
All Complex Needs Practitioners work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care. A core part of the role will be working with people and their families to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to knife crime, 5 step family work, exploitation, physical and emotional health as well as substance misuse.
An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings is essential. You’ll also need a flexible approach, excellent record keeping and report writing skills and a willingness to work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings, on an outreach basis, with a central hub base at our head office.
