A little bit about the role 

The role will sit in the Chief Social Worker’s directorate alongside our admissions and support, curriculum and delivery teams. These teams achieve our mission through assessing participants eligibility and  suitability, ensuring they are registered with our university partner in a timely way and by designing and delivering world class social work  education and training. ​

The EDI Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, programmes, and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organisation. This role involves collaborating across teams and functions to ensure that EDI principles are integrated into all aspects of the work. They are responsible for fostering a culture of inclusion, holding people to account through knowledge and skills and create a brave space for challenging conversations.​

We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader with a deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. You will have a proven track record of driving impactful EDI initiatives across the charity, private, or public sectors, with the ability to influence and inspire others through your actions and behaviours. With strong emotional intelligence, you will understand the specific challenges faced by minoritised groups and be confident in holding challenging conversations to drive meaningful change.

The successful candidate will be a confident and influential leader who champions equity, diversity, and inclusion. Skilled in fostering accountability and inclusion, you will create a brave space for meaningful conversations while holding a clear line on EDI expectations.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Being a lead facilitator for reflexive spaces for colleagues running community spaces
• Providing outreach support for minoritised participants as needed
• Contributing to the review and design of our programmes in relation to EDI content
• Reviewing and consultation on all aspects of recruitment and admissions processes to ensure fairness and reduction in bias
• To be the lead anti discrimination advocate (ADAs) and facilitate regular group meetings to check in with the other ADAs

A little bit about you 

This role will suit an experienced EDI leader who is passionate about driving meaningful change and embedding equity, diversity, and inclusion across an organisation. The hiring panel will be looking for candidates who demonstrate a deep commitment to inclusive leadership, the ability to hold others to account on EDI expectations, and a strong track record of influencing change through collaboration. You will bring expertise in EDI frameworks and policies, along with the confidence to engage in challenging conversations and represent the organisation’s position externally.

We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. This role plays a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our Fundraising. Our supporters are hugely important to us. You will act as a first port-of-call for all incoming enquiries, knowing when and how to respond or when to escalate. • To ensure that we provide an excellent supporter experience to all our supporters.

Trauma Treatment International (TTI) is a registered charity in the UK. We focus on providing evidence-based psychological treatment and support to victims of collective violence around the world. As well as providing treatment for victims directly, we work with organisations and communities to manage, mitigate and prevent the impact of trauma.

This is an exciting time for the charity, as we move into our next phase of development. We are now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead us in the implementation of our Strategy 2025-2030 and our vision for change.

The CEO role is a highly rewarding one, offering the opportunity to join and lead our small, yet experienced and impactful team. The post offers the platform to work creatively and flexibly internationally, network with fantastic organisations and help to influence, shape and sustain TTI’s strategy and activities in this pivotal time in the organisation’s development.

This is a remote working role, with attendance at events or locations as required throughout the year. We offer a permanent employment contract and are looking for a minimum time commitment of 3 days per week – we are open to consider other flexible arrangements or up to 80% hours (within budget); Salary is based on full-time equivalent of £75,000pa. Key experience and attributes you will need to bring:

• Minimum six years’ experience at senior leadership/management level, ideally gained in non-profit organisation or other humanitarian setting.
•  Some prior experience of interacting with a Board of Directors.
• Experience of financial compliance including demonstrable experience of actively setting and managing budgets, preparing cashflow projections and working with financial reports – this experience is likely to have been gained over at least 3 years’ active, first-hand participation.
• Prior experience of working in a growth environment, ideally having gained involvement in income generation/fundraising.
• Experience working with external funders, partners, and collaborators
• Demonstrate clear understanding of Charity Code and governance obligations including Charity Commission requirements and charity law.
• Possess and demonstrate strong leadership experience and ability to lead with a coaching / mentoring/ trauma-informed style in order to maintain organisational culture, valuing the people of the organisation.

Main Purposes of Job and Key Tasks

We are seeking a highly organised and quick-witted Operations Officer to join our dynamic team at Spring Community Hub. The ideal candidate will have experience in operations or project management and excel at managing multiple priorities simultaneously. The Operations Officer will support impact, monitoring, and evaluation tasks to help demonstrate the effectiveness of our programs to funders and stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate, preferably from a project delivery or impact measurement and evaluation background.

Primary duties include:

• Administrative and Office Support: Provide daily administrative support to the Operations Manager and team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, coordinating logistics, handling correspondence, and overseeing general office administration functions such as phones, mail distribution, supply orders, and facilities management.

• Project Management Support: Assist with project planning and execution, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met. Help prepare project documentation, track progress, and provide updates to stakeholders. This includes running reports via our CRM system and other tools.

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the operations team and assist in implementing new procedures to increase efficiency and productivity. Contribute to maintaining a quality assurance schedule and support various business support functions.

• Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration. Provide timely updates on project status and operational activities, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organisation.

• Problem Solving: Address operational challenges promptly and effectively, demonstrating quick thinking and resourcefulness to resolve issues as they arise.

• Inventory and Resource Management: Assist in managing inventory and supplies, ensuring timely procurement and distribution of resources to meet departmental needs.

• Volunteer Recruitment and Management: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and management of volunteers, building strong relationships and fostering a positive and inclusive volunteer culture. Recognise and appreciate the contributions of volunteers and provide them with support and training as needed.

• Event and Fundraising Management: Organise and manage events and fundraising activities, including planning, logistics, coordination, and execution. Work with the team to develop and implement strategies to achieve fundraising goals and ensure successful events that engage the community and stakeholders.

• Customer and Stakeholder Support: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency. Represent the organisation at external meetings and events with community partners, local authorities, funders, and other key stakeholders.

• General Office Administration: Support the smooth running of the office by handling routine executive support tasks, event planning, and general office administration. Assist with recruitment processes for staff and volunteers, including job postings and duties related to new hires.

• Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to Health and Safety guidelines, risk assessments, and safeguarding measures. Comply with SCH policies and procedures regarding the operation of services and policies.

• Supporting Impact, Monitoring, and Evaluation: Occasionally assist the impact, monitoring, and evaluation (IM&E) function by supporting data collection and analysis, preparing reports, and contributing to the development of data collection tools. Help with the production of reports for internal and external audiences as needed.

• There will be some out-of-hours working occasionally for Events / Development/ Training sessions according to the needs of the business - which you will be able to arrange time off in lieu with your Line Manager.

• The post holder will be required to be flexible to the changing needs of the organisation and as such undertake tasks and responsibilities not specifically listed here but relevant to the smooth running of SCH, including general office and administrative tasks and aspects of service delivery, as directed by the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Trustees.

• Event and Fundraising Skills: Experience in organising events and managing fundraising activities, including planning, logistics, and community engagement.

• Adaptability: Open to change and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to learning and training as required by Spring Community Hub.

• Flexibility: Willingness to occasionally work outside standard hours for events, development sessions, or training, with time off in lieu of arranged with your line manager.
