The Role
As the Safeguarding, HR, & DBS Administrator, you will provide essential support across safeguarding, HR, and DBS functions, helping to ensure communities are safe, well-supported, and compliant with best practice.
Your role will include
- Assisting the safeguarding team and parishes in building effective safeguarding structures
- Supporting HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle
- Managing DBS administration for both diocesan staff and parishes

About the role:

As an IDVA you will:
- Provide a high quality, pro-active service to victims of domestic and/or sexual violence and abuse.
- You will work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and the Bridgeway, SARC and other local partnership responses to domestic abuse and sexual violence.
- You will work with survivors and other agencies to monitor the care pathway. This involves risk assessment, helping clients access their rights, along with any other services they require.
- You will be required to attend relevant meetings and will provide regular reports to your line manager.
- You will also undertake talks and presentations to local groups and agencies on the work of Victim Support, developing networks and partnerships and increasing the role of the service in the community.
You will need:
- Experience of working with victims of domestic and sexual violence and other service providers and agencies in a statutory, voluntary, social or community setting.
- Experience of planning and delivering caseloads, with strong crisis management skills and an understanding of the needs of victims experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence.
- An approved and accredited IDVA and/or ISVA qualification or willingness to work towards this.
- Good IT skills, knowledge of criminal justice issues and an understanding of the effects a court appearance can have on victims and witnesses of crime.

About the FCLP
upReach’s Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP) is a graduate programme combining delivery work (supporting our Associates) with exposure to a range of aspects of charity management.
As a Programme Coordinator on the FCLP you will be delivering personalised employment-focused support to a cohort of approximately 80 Associates, helping transform their lives by equipping them with the necessary skills to secure a top graduate job. During a typical week, you should expect to be working across a range of projects including 1:1 undergraduate coaching, group workshops, webinars (we refer to them as Video Forums), partnership management (with university partners or employer partners) and more!
In addition to this, the programme offers the opportunity to develop skills in key areas of charity management by participating in 3 rounds of six-month 'rotations'. After your initial 18 months and the completion of 3 six-month rotations, you will have the opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship in Leadership and Management to further develop your skills.
Throughout the programme, you will receive dedicated internal training developing your leadership skills and building your confidence in the role.
Through our partnership with The Circle Line, you will be part of a supportive peer group, offered regular personal development training workshops online and in-person on their '12 Tools for Life'. You will also be able to choose your own practitioner to support you with 1:1 sessions throughout the programme to help you unlock more of your unique potential.
What will I be doing?
The FCLP is a fast-paced but rewarding role. Programme Coordinators spend 80% of their time (4 days per week) working directly with Associates to enhance their career knowledge and skills and 20% (1 day per week) on a charity management rotation (or an apprenticeship after 18 months). No two days are the same, but your responsibilities may include:

You will work directly with care experienced children and young people and those on Child Protection Plans. You will provide advocacy in the way that the child or young person prefers, which may include face to face support in the community and remote advocacy via phone or Teams.
You will empower and support them to ensure their voices are heard within decision–making processes that affect their lives.
You will be a capable ambassador for Coram Voice with the ability to engage effectively with professionals, carers, other stakeholders and, most importantly, children and young people.

The Role

Responsibilities

The post-holder will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our service, ensuring that individuals receive consistent, high-quality care that aligns with best practice guidelines and upholds professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
This post-holder will be responsible for fulfilling the following duties:
- Good medical care: Provide a clinical assessment, including relevant psychiatric and
physical investigation, of a wide range of substance misusers presenting to the service. - Review and Monitor: patients’ treatment progress (including results of urinalysis and other laboratory investigations).
- Documenting: To keep accurate appropriate and up-to-date medical and administrative documentation including computer records.
- Specialist Assessments: Provide specialist prescribing assessments to opiate, stimulant, tranquilizer, barbiturate and alcohol dependent clients.
- Working with others: Attend multidisciplinary meetings, promoting the nomination of named link workers and actively supporting the implementation of integrated care pathways.
- Represent Change Grow Live: Represent the service at a range of meetings with other
professionals and agencies in order to evaluate, monitor and develop treatment services for substance misusers and minimise barriers to treatment. - Maintaining good medical practice: participate in continuing professional development, annual appraisal and revalidation and to join appropriate supervision and PDP groups for the role.
About You:
- Medical Degree and completion of Basic Medical Training.
- Full GMC-UK Registration with License to Practice.
- Experience in delivering evidence based treatments in Substance Misuse
- Good knowledge of addiction psychiatry and legislation relating to Mental Health
- Demonstrable ability to work independently with minimal consultant supervision.
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary team setting and with other agencies.
- Evidence of participation in Clinical Audit.
- Experience in working with substance misuse and mental health issues.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Communications and Policy Influencing Lead to spearhead the implementation of the Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) communications and policy influencing strategy globally. The position will shape and oversee the programme’s global communications and policy influencing strategies, ensuring coherence across national and global levels.
This role is central to translating strategy into action at national and global levels: working closely with country teams, donors, civil society, and survivor-led organisations to strengthen prevention, accountability, and justice frameworks. This permanent, full-time role, to which the Circuit has made an initial five-year commitment, is Circuit-wide, but locally based. The person appointed will help lead the development of a Circuit-led New Places for New People (NPNP) initiative for and with young people within the Circuit, which we anticipate will lead to the upscaling of this area of ministry in the medium term.
We are seeking a collaborative self-starter who is able to work in strategically missional ways in order to reach and disciple young people, in enabling them to flourish in every part of their lives. You are likely to hold a degree-level qualification in Theology, or a subject related to this area of ministry. Ideally, this might be a professionally-qualifying JNC award. Applicants not holding a JNC, or equivalent, may still be considered.
