About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Virtual Events Team and contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of virtual events through effective acquisition campaigns and outstanding supporter experiences.

As Virtual Events Manager (Projects), you’ll help craft meaningful supporter journeys across email, SMS and other channels, using research and insights to inform your approach. You will drive acquisition across the portfolio, using data and insight to improve our digital marketing campaigns as well as actively monitoring the performance of live campaigns. You will be a key contact for our agencies and will develop strong working relationships with them.

A key part of the role involves identifying strategic opportunities to expand our virtual events offering, drawing on market and sector trends to make informed recommendations to the Senior Mass Participation Manager and Head of Mass Participation. You’ll also contribute to the development of our annual budget and help shape the long-term vision for the programme.

Collaboration will be key as you’ll work closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Marketing and Communications to drive internal engagement, boost income and enhance the reach of our virtual events. As line manager to the Virtual Events Executives, you’ll nurture their growth and create a positive, supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in delivering engaging supporter journeys and successful digital marketing campaigns. You will be confident in managing mass participation events and using your skills to maximise income, engagement and retention. We have a Senior Solicitor opportunity in our in-house legal team to work on a broad range of matters.

Fixed term contract until 16th January 2026, 4 days a week (0.8 FTE) 

The successful candidate will be required to provide legal advice across areas of law including but not limited to public law, charity law and general commercial law, including intellectual property, contracts and procurement.  You will also advise on subsidy control, information law and litigation, provide practical legal advice to help further our Strategy, It Starts with Community, in a user-friendly way, to ensures that we are complying with our statutory and regulatory framework.

The role requires an ability to get up to speed with new areas of the law as the team deals with a broad range of legal issues. The Senior Solicitor will use their legal knowledge and experience to improve the Fund’s internal processes.

They will generally manage their own legal files (often on important funding initiatives and partnerships) working in a highly collaborative and collegiate team, where the sharing of legal know how and continuous improvement is highly valued up to date management information about the work and impact of the Legal Team to senior managers.

The Senior Solicitor will be working in a Legal team of 14 colleagues. The role does not include any line management responsibilities but it does have matrix management responsibilities for more junior members of the team (Solicitors, paralegals and Legal officer). 

Strong general commercial legal experience is essential.  Experience working in an in-house or private practice environment in the UK with a varied and workload and wide range of customers would be ideal, as would experience of public law and advising public bodies.

The roles can be based in any of our UK offices, with hybrid home/office working arrangements available. It is expected that the candidate will attend the London office every couple of months for key meetings.

About the Role

Key duties and responsibilities

• Provide court representation for clients, including emergency actions, by attending hearings at Liverpool Civil and Family Court.
• Prepare and present cases ready for court hearings by checking time limits, adherence to pre action protocols by creditors, completing relevant court forms and checking fees/remissions.
• Negotiate with and signpost/refer to third parties as appropriate.
• Assist client with alternative dispute resolution cases e.g. Financial Ombudsman Service.
• Assist clients with other related problems where they are an integral part of their case and refer to other advisers or specialist agencies as appropriate.
• Provide advice and assistance to other staff across a range of debt issues.
• Ensure that all work meets the quality standards of the AQS Debt Advice Services, the Citizens Advice quality assurance scheme and the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) quality framework.
• Meet the individual performance targets and engage positively in discussions with the Line Manager to maintain required levels.
• Provide regular reports and feedback to the Line Manager as required.
• Assist with social policy work by providing information about clients' circumstances through the appropriate channel.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies, Liverpool Civil and Family Court user groups, local authority and other local statutory and voluntary organisations to increase access to the service and to the range of support and advice needed according to individual circumstances.
• Work as part of the CAL Money Advice Team and contribute to effective service provision.
• Work independently in the Liverpool Civil and Family Court with clients as well as working from home and at different sites within Liverpool according to client appointment need.

General

• Ensure achievement of MaPS accreditation to Court Representation level within 3 months of starting the role, if not already achieved.
• Attend relevant internal and external meetings as agreed with the Line Manager.
• Maintain an up to date working knowledge of all new relevant legislation through reading monthly subscriptions including relevant case law.
• Keep up to date with Citizens Advice aims, policies and procedures and ensure these are followed.
• Ensure that work reflects and supports the Citizens Advice service's equality, diversity, and inclusion strategy.
• Abide by health and safety guidelines and share responsibility for your own health and safety and that of colleagues.
• Identify own learning and development needs and take steps to address these with your Line Manager, including engaging in team meetings and supervision sessions.
• Carry out any other tasks within the scope of the post to ensure the effective delivery and development of the service.

Requirements

1. Knowledge and experience of court representation, complex debt casework, covering priority and non-priority debt advice, options and insolvency solutions.
2. Experience of achieving performance and quality targets/KPIs.
3. Ability and willingness to undertake training and development to comply with MaPS Caseworker accreditation to court representation level, and Citizens Advice quality standards.
4. Effective oral and written communication skills.

7. Ordered approach to casework and an ability and willingness to follow and develop agreed procedures.

About us

The Court Specialist (Housing) Debt Adviser is responsible for providing a quality court representation service for clients facing court proceedings for housing and personal debt, including mortgages, secured and unsecured loans, who are not eligible for housing legal aid.

The project joins a programme funded by the Access to Justice Foundation that aims to sustain and improve access to early social welfare and family legal support and advice, to enable people to resolve these problems as early as possible and avoid the need for court or tribunal proceedings where possible. Where court or tribunal proceedings are needed, the project will provide the support needed to help people navigate the process effectively, including where support to prepare for court and at court is required. The focus of this project will be to provide housing debt court/tribunal support and representation to increase homelessness prevention.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident, motivated and willing to try new things, have excellent communication skills with an ability to work under pressure to achieve targets and outcomes with minimum supervision. You will need to have knowledge and experience of complex debt casework, and (county) court money claim, and possession proceedings as well as priority and non-priority debt advice, options and insolvency solutions.

• Provide high quality, evidence-based music therapy provision for children and young people, in partnership with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team.
• Undertake Psychosocial Assessments to assess the holistic needs of CYPF.
• Undertake specialist music therapy assessments of children with highly complex needs, e.g. co-occurring needs, through standardised and non-standardised assessments and clinical observations.
• Chair internal meetings to gain shared understandings of the presenting issues and intervention plans for CYPF.
• Attend and contribute to Multidisciplinary Team meetings, to discuss individual children/ young people and service in general, as required e.g. reviews, case conferences, clinics, etc.
• Promote collaborative working relationships through effective communication.
• Work therapeutically with children and young people who have complex needs and may present with mental health needs and/or behaviour that may be challenging associated with their acquired brain injury or the trauma experience.

What the job involves

Join our Customer Engagement and Experience team as our Data Imports Manager, where every day you’ll be helping to make sure our supporters’ donations and personal details are handled with care and accuracy.

You’ll manage the Data Import Team, who process around £30 million in donations each year and safely manage details for about 180,000 new supporters. It’s a role right at the heart of our operations, keeping our systems running smoothly and ensuring supporter data is looked after properly.

Day to day, you’ll manage the flow of financial and personal data into our CRM, whether it’s from third-party suppliers or our website. You’ll own the use of our automation tools to ensure data imports are efficient and accurate.

You’ll support your team, respond to data queries, and as the product owner of our bespoke ETL tool work closely with developers, designers and data teams to deliver high quality solutions. There’s plenty of scope to spot ways to improve how we work, reducing manual processes and making things quicker and smarter without compromising quality.

Alongside this, you’ll produce regular reports to keep things on track, such as weekly/monthly reconciliation reports for Finance, and oversee tasks such as creating our Gift Aid claim. You’ll also play a key part in developing and monitoring KPIs, making sure we’re hitting our goals and delivering a reliable, accurate service.

Time management is key in this role, as you’ll understand how data processes directly affect income and supporter experience.

With a practical, agile mindset, you’ll be a problem solver who can look at systems and processes with fresh eyes and quickly spot opportunities to make them more efficient and effective. Process-driven and detail-focused, you’ll take a proactive approach to improving the way we work, without losing sight of the bigger picture.

Excellent communication skills are essential, you’ll be confident having open, honest conversations to protect the integrity of our data, and able to influence decisions when it counts.

You’ll have experience managing and coaching a team, supporting people to achieve great results while developing their skills and confidence.

Ideally, you’ll also have a good understanding of charity law relating to fundraising, Gift Aid, data and information management, along with experience of customer relationship databases, particularly Raiser's Edge.

Waking Night Behavioural Specialist Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.

The shift pattern for this role: 21:30-07:30 10 hour night shift two nights a week

What you'll do:
* Building a supportive, trusting relationship with the customer and creating a positive atmosphere.
* Supporting the customer in their preferred night-time routine, including personal care, and promoting good sleep hygiene.
* Supporting the customer to undertake activities in line with their preferences.
* Ensuring the customer's safety and wellbeing at night, providing emotional and practical support and reassurance as needed.
* Using positive behavioural support and Autism-specific approaches to manage any distress during night-time hours.
* Working proactively with other members of the team to meet the needs of the customer and handle administrative responsibilities.
* Conducting key work sessions as required, that are innovative and engaging to achieve Support Plan goals.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy House Manager/Deputy Clinical Lead to join our Nursing and Care Team. This role will require the successful candidate to support the House Manager in leading and managing a dedicated team of nurses and care staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people.

Role Requirements

You will play a vital role in coordinating care and supporting the management of the House, serving as a key contact for families and the multidisciplinary team. Collaborating with the House Manager and Placement Managers, you will help ensure that care is effectively planned, resourced, and delivered safely at all times.

You will support the house manager to ensure that the care on house or houses enables the children to access their education and/or rehabilitation sessions, clinics, and leisure activities in their timetable.

You will work as part of a leadership team comprising of a house manager, deputy house manager / deputy clinical lead and a clinical lead (per house) responsible for one or two houses within a rotational model. You will individually (not as a team) rotate at a house level on a twelve-monthly basis.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Online Searches
