We are looking for an experienced Legacy and Tribute Manager who will be responsible for generating around £1.4 million annually through compassionate and professional management of Gifts in Wills and Tribute Giving. You will lead, shape and deliver RUHX’s Legacy & Tribute Programme—one of our most impactful income streams that enables supporters to honour exceptional care given at the RUH.
We’re looking for an experienced legacy fundraising professional with a strong track record in generating income through Gifts in Wills, creating inspiring marketing campaigns, and managing complex legacy administration with confidence and accuracy. You will bring proven expertise in handling sensitive donor relationships, working with solicitors and executors, and navigating legal processes with minimal guidance.

The Role
As a Researcher, you will deliver research and analysis on forest and farm finance across the Global South, with a special emphasis on Latin America, working to strengthen sustainable finance models that support people, nature and climate goals.
A significant focus of the role will be designing and delivering action research projects, generating qualitative and quantitative evidence and applying appropriate research frameworks to deepen understanding of forest and farm finance.
Working with forest and farm producer organisations, you will analyse findings, develop new knowledge and produce research outputs that support the development of green value chains, improved access to finance and stronger self-generated finance models.
You will also co-ordinate collaborative projects with international partners, contribute to funding proposals and support communication and engagement activities that share research insights with wider audiences.
Additionally, you will:
- Support project planning, reporting and budget management
- Write and edit research outputs for publication and dissemination
- Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, funders and research networks
About You
To be considered as a Researcher, you will need:
- A solid research background with skills and experience evidenced by a track record of growing publications in your own field (e.g. research reports, policy briefs, tools or toolkits)
- Field research and in-country experience in forest and farm development work in Latin America
- Experience in research or in technical capacity development in relevant areas such as forestry or agroforestry, forest enterprise development, climate or development finance
- Experience of research team coordination, including from a distance
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Knowledge of institutions, actors, and current debates and research agendas in the field of forestry, agriculture and development
- An understanding of how to work effectively with partners in developing countries
- A relevant postgraduate degree in an area such as forestry, land use, economics, sustainable development or similar, or equivalent experience
- Professional training and/or a certification in economics or access to finance for vulnerable communities
- The willingness to travel to developing countries

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to provide support in ensuring the
local community is kept informed about Matrix and its projects, as well as engaged in
supporting us. We expect you to be creative, enthusiastic about our cause and an effective
communicator. In this role you will work independently, but in close liaison with the CEO,
Wider Leadership Team and the wider Matrix team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communication
● In collaboration with the CEO, write, edit and coordinate the production and delivery of
all postal and electronic newsletters.
● Plan, prepare and coordinate communication with Matrix donors, supporter Churches
and the wider public.
● Create, plan and schedule posts across all Matrix social media channels.
● Develop original copy for social media platforms, websites, broadcast and printed
advertising materials.
● In collaboration with the Data Coordinator, simplifying complex data into a user-friendly
format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids.
● Ensure Matrix team understand and use the correct branding for internal and external
communications.
● Understand brand guidelines and consistently implement the brand voice across all
channels and marketing materials and encourage the wider team to do the same.
● Collaborate closely with the Data Coordinator and Head of Operations to ensure our
supporters database meets GDPR and Fundraising Regulation requirements.
● In liaison with the CEO, write and submit press releases as required.
Income Generation and Networking
● Participate in the Fundraising Working Group, working with the Income Generation
Strategy to enhance our income.
● Attend Matrix fundraising events, taking photographs and supporting with appropriate
creative tasks.
● Support the Head of Operations in producing written funding applications, as required.
● Represent Matrix at networking events alongside the Leadership Team.
Support to Executive Team
● Under the direction of the Head of Operations, collaborate closely with the Operations
Team.
● Undertake a variety of creative administrative tasks for the CEO and Head of
Operations as required.
● Under the direction of the Head of Operations, provide additional administrative
support to the wider Leadership Team.
● Work within our wider Organisational Strategy and Communications Strategy.

Support for and implementation of the Branch’s strategic and service delivery plans

Governance

- Line manage the Business Support Officer, Volunteering Coordinator, Recruitment and Training Coordinator and Fundraising and Events Officer, Trusts and Foundatons Officer and other roles that may from time to time be established
- Act as a role model to staff and colleagues by demonstrating exemplary standards of behaviour, a positive attitude, and high levels of personal performance.
- Identify and develop talent within the team that can be fostered, offering opportunities for personal and career growth where appropriate.
- Work with the Branch Leadership Team to support all staff activities.
Communications
- Work with the Director and Deputy Director for Communications and relevant staff members to support delivery of the branch Communications Plan. This will include coordinating internal and external communications as well as maintaining good relationships with volunteers, partners and other Samaritans branches and the Samaritans Charity.
- Maintain relationships with the Samaritans Central Charity in relation to media activity.
- Work with Director to ensure the Branch is represented on suicide prevention partnerships and involved in strategies with local councils and other organisations within the seven boroughs covered by the branch.
- Work with Branch Leadership Team to ensure the Branch is appropriately represented the branch at external events.
Facilities and Office Management
- Oversees the management of the building on behalf of and in consultation with the Trustees and the Office Manager
- Take overall responsibility for the contracting of services to the organisation
- Take responsibility for compliance with Health and Safety Regulations
Hours of work
1. The basic hours of work are 35 hours per week, spread over five working days. There will be a need to work some evenings and weekend days, so flexibility is essential. The core responsibilities and duties should be carried out during weekdays.
2. The amount of out of hours work will be agreed with the Director on an on-going basis. Time off in lieu will be allowed in agreement with the Director and in line with the current European Working Time Directive.

Job Purpose:
The Face to Face Fundraising Logistics Coordinator (FFLC) supports the delivery of MSF UK’s F2F Campaign by coordinating logistics for the Festivals and Events programme and providing dedicated logistical support to the separate Private Sites Campaign.
Reporting to the Face to Face Fundraising Festivals and Events Manager (FFFEM), the role coordinates logistical planning for Festivals and Events, including supplier liaison, bookings, equipment movements, stock control and compliance administration. About you
Working within the communications and marketing team, you'll be confident in managing our social media accounts (we have many), ensuring we're using platforms to get our messages out to both wide and targeted audiences with engaging and timely content.

What the job involves
As part of our Customer Engagement and Experience team, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional supporter experience, from ordering shop items and receiving fulfilment materials to ensuring Gift Aid contributions are processed accurately and securely.
This job share role combines operational ownership, relationship management and compliance oversight. You’ll be trusted to run essential day-to-day activity and improve the systems that sit behind them.
You’ll build and manage strong relationships with fulfilment suppliers, holding them accountable to KPIs and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll also manage the day-to-day running of our online shop, including product development, stock forecasting, supplier coordination and performance monitoring.
You’ll keep fulfilment operations running efficiently by identifying improvements, resolving bottlenecks and making sure teams across the charity have what they need. Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of Gift Aid administration, ensuring claims are accurate, compliant with HMRC requirements and supported by clear audit trails.
By monitoring Gift Aid performance, you’ll analyse trends and recommend improvements, keeping internal teams informed and skilled in best practice. You’ll also support Fundraising teams with compliance checks, offering guidance and helping to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
In addition, you’ll oversee monthly stock reconciliations and financial reporting for shop activity, ensuring accuracy and supporting informed decision-making. The Hub Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a FSSW hub, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations that maximise the volume of surplus food received, stored, and distributed to our Community Food Members (CFMs). This includes managing a mixed team of staff, FareChance employability participants and volunteers in their operational tasks, maintaining high operational and health & safety standards, and collaborating with colleagues across food & logistics, compliance, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management
- Oversee and manage the safe and efficient daily operation of the hub, ensuring essential tasks are completed to a high standard.

Job Title: Head of Charity
Location: Home-based, with regular travel to TALK groups, meetings and events across Guildford, Ashford, Walton-on-Thames, Woking and surrounding areas
Working Hours:4 days per week, with flexibility as required
Salary: £36-£40K (£45-50K FTE)

TALK Surrey CIO is a small local charity dedicated to supporting people affected by stroke and aphasia, an acquired language and communication difficulty. People with aphasia can often feel isolated and lose their confidence. We provide group activities, home visits, and community services designed to improve quality of life and foster social connections. Our team of trained volunteers and two existing part-time staff provide an inclusive and supportive group environment for our members to practise their communication skills, share experiences and enjoy each others' company.
We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate Head of Charity to be responsible for leading our organisation, ensuring our services are high-quality, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of our members. You would be responsible for the overall leadership, management and development of TALK, including thinking ahead to expand our range of services. You will ensure the charity is well governed, financially sustainable and delivering high-quality, person-centred services aligned to its mission.
You would work closely with Trustees, staff, volunteers, members and other stakeholders to shape the charity’s future, strengthen partnerships, and ensure effective service delivery.
About you
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in managing or leading a small organisation, charity or service.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience developing and improving services based on user need and evidence.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting, supervising or managing staff and/or volunteers.
- High emotional intelligence and commitment to person-centred services.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally to TALK groups and meetings.
Experience working in the voluntary or charity sector and an understanding of charity governance, compliance and accountability would be desirable, as would some knowledge of stroke, aphasia or related health and social care services. Other desirable attributes are: Experience of fundraising, grant management or income development and Experience of volunteer management and community engagement.
