About the Role
The CEO will provide leadership to Embracing Age and to be responsible for the management and administration of the charity, in partnership with and reporting to the trustees. You'll lead, inspire and motivate staff and volunteers, whilst upholding and developing the Christian ethos, vision, mission and values of Embracing Age, along with the strategic objectives and priorities.

You’ll be a strategic, passionate person with a big heart for the older generations and a desire to mobilise churches and communities in coming alongside them. You’ll be a friendly, confident individual with good communication and organisational skills who is looking for a part time flexible role.

The LSO Development department is looking for a knowledgeable and self-motivated individual to join our team as Trusts & Foundations Officer at an exciting time in the LSO’s history. Reporting to the Trusts & Foundations Manager, the role will primarily work within the Trusts and Foundations team to establish and maintain relationships with grant-giving bodies to help meet and grow income targets. About you

The Trusts & Foundations Officer will also support the wider fundraising of the Department, helping to steward current and potential supporters at concerts, special events, and LSO Discovery projects taking place across east London.

Working alongside the Community Fundraising Manager the role will be responsible for being proactive in engaging local communities to maximise income generation by developing a plan to gain more supporters. We are seeking a highly experienced Trusts and Foundations fundraising consultant to spearhead the Trusts programme at Dreams Come True. We're offering you the opportunity to become the Director of Education of the British Institute of Radiology (BIR), an international membership organisation for everyone working in imaging, radiation oncology and the underlying sciences.
As Director of Education, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the educational direction of the BIR. It's a leadership position which involves overseeing the development of new initiatives, programmes and strategies to enhance the BIR’s educational offerings and outcomes, and the post-holder will be responsible for the strategic focus and financial performance of the BIR Education programme.
We're half way through our new five-year strategy, and the education team plays a key role in helping to ensure the BIR remains financially sustainable, offering education to more people, and helping expand the membership. The role has also recently been recently expanded to include leadership for two important new roles in Communications and Partnerships, and both positions will be responsible for leading and delivering their respective strategies as part of the wider strategy.
Our new Director of Education will be experienced in developing and implementing successful education strategies at senior level, which will include new business development, income generation or building revenue streams, as well as experience of creating, managing and reporting on budgets.
You'll have had experience of educational events as well as the development of online educational activities, such as virtual events, webpages or apps, and you'll be adept at managing projects and working with stakeholders to achieve outcomes. An exciting opportunity exists for a Philanthropy Lead to join the team. As Philanthropy Lead, you will develop and implement a visionary strategy targeted at captivating the attention of ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, including a new generation of donors. This is a full-time, permanent role, hybrid working in London.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have solid experience of developing and delivering a philanthropy strategy which contributes to the organisations overall strategic aims on income and relationships. Ideal candidates will have solid experience of securing 5 and 6 figure gifts from philanthropists and/or family foundations. You will have good experience of high-level relationship management and support which enables senior stakeholder to grow income and networks. Exceptional communication, networking, influencing, negotiating and persuading skills are also essential for this role. Strong sector knowledge and a familiarity with the charitable/funding sector would be a bonus, however it is not essential for the role.

This is a great time to join the team at Haven House, our Community & Events team are working on a new strategy to increase income and engagement with our local community. This new and exciting role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work across our community and event income lines, taking responsibility for raising income from a wide variety of supporters. We’re looking for an individual who can hit the ground running, complimenting a team that proactively develops and drives our community and events portfolio.
At Haven House the focus within the Income Generation and Marketing Team is to put the supporter and donor at the centre of everything we do, ensuring they feel inspired by our work and the children and families we support; engaged and committed to our cause and ultimately make a commitment to do something amazing.

About the role
The St Pancras Community Association (SPCA) is a charity delivering high quality services for Camden residents, especially the lively and diverse community of the St Pancras and Somers Town ward. As the Director of SPCA you will lead and guide a highly skilled and motivated team to make the SPCA a community hub and a centre of excellence which has a positive impact on the lives of local residents.
The governance of SPCA is overseen by a Board of Trustees. The Director will report directly to this Board and work closely with Board members.
Key responsibilities

To build strong relationships with members of the local community, community groups, representatives and service providers to ensure that strategies and services are based on an understanding of the community’s needs and the contribution that SPCA is best placed to make as part of the of the range of local support services.

To develop and deliver a business plan based on a financially sustainable strategic vision and which maximises the use of existing and emerging funding and income generation sources and opportunities.

To provide a caring and highly supportive working environment which enables all staff and partners to fully contribute their skills, knowledge and perspectives.

To manage, plan and monitor budgets to ensure the continuing financial sustainability of the Centre and to work with the Treasurer to ensure that the Centre is operating effective, and compliant accounting practices, policies and procedures.

To ensure that SPCA fulfils its legal and procedural obligations under relevant legislation.

To maintain an effective and transparent working relationship with the Board of Trustees to
ensure that Trustees are kept informed of opportunities, threats and challenges and are fully involved in decision making.
Main tasks

Overseeing all fundraising activities from trusts, the local authority, local businesses and the community.

Overseeing the development and implementation of an income generation strategy that includes maintaining and securing funding from statutory bodies, charitable trusts and any other relevant agencies/organisations and delivering charged services.

Forming collaborative partnerships with organisations and agencies from all sectors that can be developed into services and business ventures
-
Line managing key staff and ensuring that effective line managing processes are in place for other staff and volunteers. The postholder will directly line manage approximately xxx staff.

Holding monthly staff meetings where everyone is heard and respected

Ensuring all employees receive appropriate line management, where issues and problems
that arise are handled with sensitivity and a high priority is given to staff development.

Overseeing the recruitment and induction of new staff in accordance with the SPCA’s Equal Opportunities.

Ensuring arrangements are in place for the systematic collection and review of employees opinions and the opinions of service users and potential users

Ensuring effective systems are in place for monitoring and evaluating project performance.

Attending meetings of the Board of Trustees as appropriate.

Keeping the Chair, and other Trustees as appropriate, informed about SPCA’s business
between formal Board meetings.
Person Specification Essential

Experience of managing an organisation or department at a senior level.
