Leading on in-campaign reporting and post-campaign analysis, sharing recommendations for optimisation and to improve the effectiveness of future campaigns
Working with UX experts to devise pre-launch test and learn initiatives, using results to recommend areas for optimisation
With Marketing Executive support, leading on all aspects of campaign delivery including direct mail production and new supporter letter fulfilment
Keeping the marketing activity plan up to date and ensuring upcoming campaigns and activity are being briefed in to the correct teams in advance taking into account team SLAs

What skills are you looking for?
Relevant experience of delivering multi-channel campaigns, from planning through to execution and analysis, that meet campaign KPIs
Good understanding of end-to-end supporter journeys and the role of different channels in fully integrated campaigns
Experience of managing and motivating agencies to drive maximum value from relationships
Strong time management skills
Commercially aware with experience of budget management
Data-driven with a good understanding of UX principles and experience of interpreting results and recommending opportunities for optimisation

In this exciting new role, you will support the delivery of our Individual Giving programme to help recruit and steward supporters through regular giving, lottery, payroll and cash giving programmes.
You’ll be responsible for creating compelling content that inspires people to support our work, while also working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the smooth planning, delivery, and analysis of campaigns across multiple channels—including direct mail, face-to-face, and digital.
The ideal candidate will bring direct marketing experience, preferably within the charity sector, along with excellent creative and project management skills, and a genuine passion for helping to save and change children’s lives through medical research.

Spark Inside runs coaching programmes in prisons across London and the South East, to encourage rehabilitation and reduce reoffending.
We are one of the first organisations to take life coaching to people living and working in prison and to use systems coaching to bring together staff and prisoners in UK prisons. Our expert coaches are qualified and trained professionals. In addition to developing and delivering innovative coaching programmes, we are also committed to working with parliamentarians and government officials to influence criminal justice policy, and shift the perception of people in prison, platforming their voices and highlighting their unlocked potential.
To achieve our ambitious strategy, Spark Inside is seeking a Communications Manager to help raise the charity’s public profile, build influence with policymakers, attract funders and commissioners, and ensure the lived experience of young people in the justice system shapes our messaging, campaigns and strategy.
You will work with the Head of Communications and Advocacy to deliver a programme of compelling external communications activities through digital, print, press and events in order to increase Spark Inside’s visibility and ensure our key messages are wide-reaching and impactful.
You will report to the Head of Communications & Advocacy and work closely alongside our Participation and Engagement Manager and Policy Lead, with line management responsibility for a part-time Communications Officer. You will also work with a range of external freelancers on design, film and print. You will build and maintain good relationships with colleagues across the whole Spark Inside team, offering support and advice as well as drawing on their expertise and insights to make our communications impactful and engaging.
While target-driven, you will have a supportive style and work in a highly collaborative way with colleagues across the organisation.
You will share a passion for our cause, and a commitment to high standards. You will be highly organized, enthusiastic and motivated, with a talent for building relationships and networking. You will be up to date on the latest digital tools and trends and able to harness them to take Spark Inside’s communications to the next level.

This full-time post is based in English PEN’s small but busy London office. The Campaigns Officer will report to the Head of Campaigns, who leads on our campaigning work across the organisation, and will work closely with the wider English PEN team.

Community Fundraising Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented fundraising team
We are looking for an experienced Community Fundraising Manager to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will be responsible for driving our strategy for Community Fundraising, Individual/Regular Giving and Events. With a database of around 100,000 registrants and 15,000 members, these existing income streams have lots of great potential. We have amazing fundraisers in our community who take on challenges like the London Marathon, London to Brighton bike ride, or their own swimming challenge and there’s lots of great potential amongst our supporters, including our committed members and regular givers.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 30 hours per week (negotiable for the right candidate)
Flexibility: We are a flexible employer and most of our staff are juggling things (including caring for multiples!) We are great at making jobs work around life.
Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 (pro rata)
Reports to: Head of Development
Work location: Hybrid/remote. Office space in London Bridge, although entirely remote option is fine. Travel to events will also be required.

Purpose of the role
- Grow a successful existing income stream (Fundraising Events and Regular Giving) and develop and grow a comparatively new income stream (Community Fundraising and Individual Giving) for Twins Trust. You will do this alongside other fundraisers in the team and with support from a Fundraising Officer.
- Lead and develop a multi-year strategy for growing our Community and Events programmes, with a well-planned calendar of events throughout the year covering different themes and geographies.
- Lead the strategy for our Individual/Regular Giving programme
- Lead on the creation, planning and delivery of a new Twins Trust owned mass participation fundraising event
- Provide strategic support and guidance to our Fundraising Officer to implement the annual raffle, ongoing Lottery programme and Individual Giving programme.
- Work closely with other teams across Fundraising, Membership and Communications to spot opportunities to maximise income and drive new projects forward
- Provide exceptional relationship management and stewardship to fundraisers in our community to make them feel appreciated, maximise income raised and encourage repeat fundraising
Ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing a strategy for Community They will be able to demonstrate how they have delivered one or more of these income streams and grown these programmes significantly, providing excellent stewardship to fundraisers.
Person specification
Essential
- Significant experience of leading a 6 figure multi-year community fundraising strategy including forecasting and monitoring income and expenditure
- Experience of leading community, events, or Individual/Regular Giving fundraising - taking ownership and achieving growth in scale and income
- Experience of creating and delivering a new medium to large scale (£25k plus) fundraising event, maximising all commercial opportunities within it
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to manage several projects at the same time
- Experience working in a CRM and analysing data to inform decision-making (Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to collaborate with a team of various disciplines or work independently as required
- Strong IT skills, including SharePoint and advanced Excel
- Enthusiasm for the issues we work on
Desirable
- Working understanding of admin processes relating to fundraising
- Understanding of digital marketing
- An understanding of GDPR in relation to fundraising
