King George’s is a 68-bed hostel and a key part of Westminster City Council’s Rough Sleepers Pathway, offering support to men with complex needs who have experienced prolonged periods of rough sleeping. Many of the people we support are navigating the impacts of long-term substance use, offending histories, and trauma that often began in childhood and continues to shape their lives.

Main purpose of post
This is a key support role to the Marketing Manager and Campaigns Manager,
having primary responsibility for the charity’s graphic design work.
Our marketing team raises awareness of our services and grant-giving to
potential beneficiaries and the wider community, support our fundraising
campaigns, and generally promotes Weston Park Cancer Charity throughout
South Yorkshire and beyond.
This is a key role to bring our stories and campaigns to life. You’ll play a key role
in visually communicating our message, developing design assets for both
print and digital platforms, and helping us maintain a strong and consistent
visual identity.

Key Responsibilities
Design and Brand
 Create visual assets for online and offline use, including brochures, reports,
social media graphics, infographics, posters, and fundraising materials.
 Ensure all designs are aligned with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
 Respond to, discuss and meet design briefs, provided by the Marketing
team.
Digital Media Support
 Design social media templates and email campaign visuals.
 Support in producing visuals for our website and e-newsletters.

Campaign and Event Materials
 Develop design concepts for campaigns and charity events.
 Produce signage, presentations, and promotional materials for fundraising
and awareness activities.

Collaborative Working
 Work closely with a range of colleagues across the marketing, fundraising
team, and service teams.
 Liaise with printers and external suppliers as needed.

Asset Management
 Maintain a well-organised library of design files and templates.

You do not need to have previous or formal experience working in the homelessness sector or in a support role. We are looking for people who are creative thinkers, that are committed and motivated in inspiring our clients into leading successful lives.  In return, we will provide you with a comprehensive and engaging Trainee Programme. Involving ongoing support, trainee specific workshops and plenty of opportunity to learn on the job through formal training, reflective practice, service visits and working with experienced colleagues. At the Poppy Factory, we help armed forces veterans with health conditions to find meaningful and sustainable employment after service. This often means overcoming significant barrier to employment. As an Employment Consultant, you will be assisting veterans across the region back into work. Based at your home, but with extensive travel, you will help with application materials, overcome challenges, and connect with employers. Mental Wellbeing Manager

Job Summary:

The Mental Wellbeing Manager will lead Manor Gardens’ culturally competent, trauma-informed mental health work with young men aged 18–25 funded by City Bridge Foundation, and oversee our wider wellbeing programme, funded through other sources including individual giving. They will be responsible for delivering early intervention and therapeutic support for young men from Black and minoritised backgrounds and refugees and asylum seekers, while also managing the delivery of a broader programme of community wellbeing activities for adults.

The postholder will line-manage two Activities Workers and have oversight of a pool of sessional staff and volunteers delivering peer support, group activities, and therapeutic interventions. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health, experience in group and 1-to-1 support, and a commitment to culturally competent, person-centred approaches.

Role Overview and Purpose:

The Mental Health Nurse is a key member of our team, focused on delivering high-quality mental health services to young men in the community. This role requires a proactive approach to engage with individuals who have not previously accessed mainstream mental health support, using culturally sensitive methods to build trust and promote mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. City Bridge Mental Health Programme Delivery (50%)

· Ensure the effective delivery of therapeutic and early intervention support for young men aged 18–25, including one-to-one and group support.

· Oversee work delivered by sessional psychotherapeutic staff and ensure quality, safeguarding, and continuity.

· Facilitate or coordinate safe, inclusive peer support spaces in community settings.

· Use culturally competent and trauma-informed practices to build trust and engagement among the target group.

· Conduct initial screening or assessments where appropriate and manage referrals to statutory and specialist mental health services.

· Collaborate closely with the Clinical Lead and Evaluation Lead to ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of delivery.

2. Recruit, train and support Peer Mentors

· Recruit two cohorts of 8 young bilingual adult men and women from Black, minoritised and refugee backgrounds, who have lived experience of mental ill health, exploitation, violence or traumas related to their experience of migration.

· Oversee the accredited training of 16 young adults as Peer Mental Health Mentors (two cohorts) in partnership with CANDI and ensure additional training in safeguarding, cultural competency and equalities

· Provide 121 support to Peer Mental Health Mentors and ensure they access clinical supervision

3. Management of Wellbeing Team and Sessional Staff (20%)

· Line-manage two Activities Workers responsible for delivering adult wellbeing activities (e.g. gardening, yoga, ESOL, conversation cafés).

· Provide supervision, direction, and support to ensure delivery aligns with MGWT’s values and trauma-informed approach.

· Oversee a pool of sessional facilitators and volunteers, ensuring coordination, safeguarding, and quality of delivery.

· Support co-production and ensure wellbeing activities are shaped by the voices of service users with lived experience.

4. Monitoring and Evaluation (10%)

· Maintain accurate records of all therapy sessions, assessments, and referrals.

· Collect and analyse data to evaluate the effectiveness of mental health interventions.

· Work with partners at Metropolitan University to ensure the external evaluation of the service.

· Contribute to the development of evaluation reports and share findings with key stakeholders including the All-Age Mental Health Partnership Board and Locality Leadership Boards.

5. Partnerships and Community Engagement (5%)

· Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners (e.g. CANDI, MIND, housing providers, youth and refugee organisations).

· Represent MGWT in borough-wide forums (e.g. All-Age Mental Health Partnership Board, Bright Lives Alliance).

· Promote the service through local outreach, events, and communication with community partners.

6. Organisational and Other Duties (5%)

· Contribute to MGWT-wide initiatives and cross-organisational learning and planning.

· Attend internal meetings, training, and working groups.

· Undertake other duties as reasonably required to support the effective functioning of MGWT services.

Qualifications and Experience

· A recognised qualification in mental health or psychological support (e.g. RMN, PGDip in Psychotherapy or Counselling, Occupational Therapy (Mental Health), or other UK-recognised accreditation).

· Significant experience delivering mental health or wellbeing support to people from minoritised or refugee backgrounds.

· Experience delivering trauma-informed and culturally competent support.

· Proven experience facilitating group and 1-to-1 support in community settings.

· Experience line-managing staff or volunteers.

· Experience supporting monitoring and evaluation or working with academic evaluators (desirable).

Knowledge and Skills

· Understanding of structural and cultural barriers to accessing mental health support.

About you and the role

The purpose of this role is to manage operational delivery of our School by School Programme, ensuring efficient and effective delivery. 

You will be supported by our Chief Innovation Officer, and manage our Chef Trainers delivering our School by School interventions. You will work closely with the Director of Partnerships & Impact, our School Engagement Manager and our Research Supervisor. 

Your role will oversee our School by School interventions, delivered across multiple school sites. This role will be primarily focused in London, but will include supporting schools in locations across the UK as we develop new hubs. You will be joining a dynamic and growing charity who are passionate about delivering exceptional training, skill sharing, expertise and know-how to advance the quality of food preparation, food service and food education in schools.

The responsibilities:

• To work with the Chief Innovation Officer to ensure that all programme delivery of school interventions is delivered in line with our vision, values and ethos.

• To support and manage our Chef Trainers to ensure that programme delivery is carried out in the most effective and efficient way.

• Coordinate and oversee all programme activities, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.

• Managing the programme budget, identifying issues, and ensuring milestones are met.

• Working with the School Chef Educator and Membership teams on our regional expansion strategy, creating schools that are centres of excellence across the country.

• Working with the School Engagement Manager, attend and contribute to meetings with the Senior Leadership of prospective new schools and academies, developing proposals and financial forecasting.

• Liaise and manage relationships with the Senior Leadership in the schools and academies we work with, being the key contact for operational delivery of programmes. 

• To ensure that service level agreements are agreed with schools and that our delivery matches the agreements.

• To monitor costs of the programme delivery, reporting progress of programmes to the Chief Innovation Officer, identifying any risks or delays to programme delivery. 

• At all times to ensure that our school interventions are being delivered in a legally compliant, cost-effective way.

• Work closely with the Chef Trainers to ensure our advice to, and work in, schools is legally compliant.

• Support the Chef Trainers in monitoring legal safety compliance in schools, promptly flagging major concerns to the Chief Innovation Officer and where appropriate, the key school contact.

• Ensuring learning and evaluation is embedded in our programme delivery, working with the Chef Trainers to document best practice learnt from each programme. 

• To work alongside the Director of Partnerships & Impact and Research Supervisor to ensure that we’re collecting accurate and relevant data to measure our impact, evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the programmes, conducting regular assessments and measurements.

• Work with the Research Supervisor to support preparing reports on the impact of the School by School programmes, including statistical data, trends, and success stories.

Purpose

The Fundraising Development Officer supports the delivery of our individual giving programme, helping to nurture current supporters and attract new ones.

You will be responsible for building our regular giving support, implementing supporter journeys and co-ordinating our annual appeals. You will also work closely with the Head of Fundraising in developing our major donor plans, and support with other individual giving channels, including in-memory giving and legacy giving. 

The role also takes a lead on prospect research, supporting the development of our portfolio of high-value prospects. Through detailed research on prospects and donors, you will build prospect pipelines that will support income growth across the fundraising team. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will see you supporting individual fundraisers across the team nd strengthening the prospect pipelines that drive income at the highest levels. You will use a range of sources to obtain relevant information that can contribute to proposals, communications and donation strategies. 

We are looking for someone who has great communication and research skills, and a collaborative approach. You will be a self-motivated, proactive and analytical individual with the ability to build, manage and develop relationships across teams.

Key responsibilities and duties 

• Manage our ‘Friends of Charlie Waller’ regular giving scheme, building the supporter numbers and engagement with the charity. 

• Deliver exceptional supporter care to our regular supporters, recognising opportunities for deeper engagement and potential for further support. 

• Implement the supporter journeys for regular and one-off donors, creating communications to engage them with the cause and understand the impact.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Head of Fundraising will contribute to upReach's mission by meeting financial targets, recognising when to make the fundraising ‘ask’ and leading the annual budget process. You will use clear, creative written communication to produce convincing cases for support, represent the charity at relevant networking events, work closely with the upReach Development Board and act as an ambassador for the organisation.

Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and External Engagement you will manage three direct reports and support individuals participating in the Future Charity Leaders Programme (upReach’s graduate scheme). You will work closely with  the Head of Partnerships, CEO, Programmes and Finance teams and other colleagues across the income generating and external engagement team.

The core responsibilities include: 

Leadership and strategy 

• Lead fundraising and philanthropy to realise financial targets (2025/26: £2.45m).

• Securing 5 and 6 figure gifts. 

• Inspire staff and volunteers to excel and achieve, champion the upReach values.

• Commit to the annual appraisal process and develop stretching, SMART OKRs (objectives and key results) to meet our strategic goals. 

• Deputise for the Director in their absence and play an key role in the Income Generation & External Engagement Leadership Team.

• Lead the strategic and operational planning process for the functional areas of responsibility and ensure the involvement of relevant stakeholders. 

• Keep abreast of developments, changes in trends, new techniques and legislation.

• Lead the team to grow and develop the burgeoning major donor portfolio.

• Develop a legacies strategy and oversee delivery of awareness campaigns.

Events

• Lead the team on the delivery of a sector-leading events portfolio, to include income-generating events, and the Student Social Mobility Awards (SSMA’s).

• Engage, steward and motivate key stakeholders including the Development Board, Patrons, potential event committee members and other high value volunteers to grow our network and deliver successful fundraising events.

Trusts, Foundations & Corporates

• Oversight of Trusts, Foundation & Corporate fundraising strategy.

• Work with the Senior Fundraising Manager to identify and build relationships with Companies, Trusts and Foundations which are mission and/or programme aligned.

• Collaborate with the Head of Partnerships to build strategic relationships with companies that grow philanthropic and commercial income. 

• Support the acquisition of new, multi-year philanthropic funders and existing donors.

Other

Visitor Experience Duty Manager - Bank Staff
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Based: Oxford, OX1 1BP
Contract: Bank Staff
Hours: Hours of work are as and when required, by mutual agreement on a 4-week rota. These may periodically increase or decrease depending on the requirements of the Gallery. The candidate will receive two weeks’ notice of any changes to their hours. They will be expected to work evenings and weekends. 
Annual Leave: Annual holiday entitlement will accrue at 0.127 hours for each hour worked and paid quarterly at the hourly rate

About the Role

The role of the Visitor Experience Duty Manager is to support the Visitor Experience Team (VE) with the management of gallery opening hours and the events calendar. Motivating and leading the VE Team, on a day-to-day basis, providing an inspiring, engaging and inclusive visitor experience for broad and diverse audiences.

This role will cover weekends, evening events and occasional leave days for the VE Team. Visitor Experience Duty Managers fulfil Duty Management responsibilities for the building to ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors and exhibitions/events.

Responsibilities

Operational and Health & Safety

• The VEDM (Visitor Experience Duty Manager) is responsible for opening and / or closing the building on their shift, and for the setting of alarms. They are also required, in an emergency, to organise maintenance of the building, including intruder and fire alarms. All Duty Managers are included on the call out list for possible out of hours alarm issues.
• In the event of an emergency or fire alarm the VEDM is required to manage a full building evacuation and work as the contact person to the fire brigade.
• To ensure that the building is safe and clean by checking all areas before the building is open to the public or before an event. Turning on/off all lighting and replacing bulbs where necessary, checking fuse boards and making minor repairs, cleaning toilets when necessary. Continue to monitor throughout the day, allocating deliveries to appropriate storage areas, checking toilet facilities and following general risk assessment for areas of prohibited public access.
• To manage and adhere to all Health and Safety and building security practices, including completing risk assessments for events. On the shifts when the Duty Manger is the only key holder in the building they must not leave the premises.
• To be responsible for upholding the premises licence according to the Licensing Act 2003, to ensure the café/bar adheres to alcohol licensing laws and to oversee the selling and consumption of alcohol within the building and any other licensed activities. To ensure that capacity numbers for events are not exceeded.
• The Duty Manager is required to turn on / off the show and ensure it is functioning correctly during gallery opening hours. Also, to ensure a curator or the Production Manager is informed of any faults, breakages etc.
• Lead and motivate Visitor Experience team members and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high standards of visitor and artwork care, safety, security, visitor welcome, wayfinding, building presentation and housekeeping.
• Brief the Visitor Experience Team Members and volunteers daily about their duties for the shift and ensure they have all the necessary resources in order to provide an excellent standard of customer service to all visitors.
• To be a First Aider and know the location of the First Aid boxes.
• To cover the break of the shop staff and/or VE team and to provide cover in the galleries, shop or Information Desk during busy periods or in an emergency.
• To ensure that Shop takings are secured in the safe.
• To read any emails or hand over notes at the beginning of his / her shift and to communicate to the Visitor Services Manager (VSM) any issues arising during their shift and record incidents in the incident log book.
• Carry out any other duties as directed by the VSM/HoFVE as required

Visitor Experience

• Work collaboratively with other members of the Visitor Experience team and other gallery departments providing services that contribute to visitor experience, (including the cafe and shop) to ensure a consistent and seamless service is provided to our visitors.
• To be able to give short tours/presentations to schools/groups about the current exhibition.
• To deal with all general enquiries and problems that may arise during the shift in a calm and professional manner with both customers and staff.
• Work with VSM to manage group booking enquiries sensitively and efficiently.
• Work with the VSM to develop projects that will build on and enhance the visitor experience.
• Work with the VSM to coach and develop the Visitor Experience team to ensure their skills and knowledge of gallery activities are up-to-date.
• Assist the VSM with the delivery of induction and training sessions for Visitor Experience team members and volunteers.

Events

• To assist in the coordination of events with event organisers and other key staff to ensure that all arrangements have been made for staff, equipment and booking of each event.
• To support the events and hires programme at the gallery, including setting up of AV equipment and moving furniture for events.
• Work with Commercial Manager to keep up to date with hire enquiries and show prospective clients available spaces if required.
• To provide a warm welcome to hirers, visiting speakers, artists, and ensure they have everything they need for their event.
• Complete event reports for all events and distribute VSM and event organisers.
• Checking online sales and tickets, assisting with processing sales and bookings for events when necessary. Ensure that all visitor figures and sales are recorded after each event.

Person Specification

Essential

• Excellent communication skills demonstrating the ability to deal with colleagues, visitors and external partners.
• Experience of working with the public and of providing excellent customer service, preferably gained in an arts/entertainment environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the willingness to be involved in the practical set up of events.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends.
• Experience of using and setting up AV equipment, lifting and carrying equipment, chairs and tables. An enthusiasm for art and commitment to the work of Modern Art Oxford.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings and late nights (occasionally until 3am).

Desirable

• Experience of managing a small team.
• Health & Safety qualification
• Competent user of Microsoft Office
• Training in First Aid.
• Willing to train as a personal licence holder.
• Experience of being a key holder.

Job description

Project Art Works is seeking an experienced Philanthropy and Donor Manager to help drive our charity to diversify and grow our income across corporate partnerships, individual giving, donors and philanthropy. Working closely with an experienced and gifted team, this is a newly created opportunity for a motivated individual to develop and implement a strategy, applying their ideas and networks to realise our ambition.

The role will help to drive the financial sustainability of our work by cultivating and managing new relationships to support our award-winning charity.

This will include: 

• Development of a pipeline of new individuals and national businesses / corporates / high net worth individuals through networking, relationship building and stewardship of supporters.
• Developing and managing a prospect pool for major gift cultivation, researching relevant donors, facilitating introductions, and bringing them onboard.
• Client facing: representing the organisation alongside other team members as required.
• Growing income outside of trusts and foundations, tracking and reporting progress, from our commercial operations based on co-agreed ambitious, set targets and KPIs.
• Cultivating an entrepreneurial culture whilst staying true to our values and vision.
• Work independently to identify plan and implement creative growth strategies to increase donations and partnerships.
• Work in collaboration with the Project & Communications Manager to develop and deliver marketing campaigns that drive increased unrestricted revenue.
• Ensure that all enquiries are followed up and lead the process from start to finish.
• Produce quarterly reports for the Senior Management Team and Board.

The role requires strategic, long-term thinking with support from the Senior Management Team, and you must demonstrate a proven track record of developing and implementing successful long-term income generation strategies. 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about disability rights, is a strong communicator, highly motivated and experienced in supporting charities to grow unrestricted income, and at identifying and maximising opportunities for growing revenue.

Contract: 2 year fixed term contract. 28 hours per week. Based in Hastings with flexible working / working from home as required. We are open to discussion on the hours and working pattern for the right candidate.

Person specification

Mandatory:

• Experience of researching new business/prospects and of relationship building.
• Demonstrated success in identifying, cultivating and managing a high value and diverse portfolio of major donors.
• Experience of working within a results-oriented environment, with a record of developing and achieving KPIs and targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills and with proven experience of managing or liaising with high value customers, partners or supporters.
• Proven experience of cross-team working and liaising with multiple stakeholders

Ideally:

• A demonstrable interest in disability rights, ethical fundraising, and visual arts practice.
• Excellent administration and organisation skills, demonstrating the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure.

The Fundraising and Stewardship Officer plays a vital role in supporting the long-term sustainability and growth of our organisation’s charitable mission. In the current landscape of increasing demand for services and competitive funding environments, strategic and relationship-driven fundraising is more critical than ever.

This role is vital to the growth of our income, building relationships with donors and funders, and ensuring their long-term support through excellent stewardship, prospect research and strategic pipeline development

This role exists to develop and deliver effective fundraising campaigns, build and maintain strong relationships with donors and funders, and ensure exceptional stewardship that encourages continued and increased support. Working closely with the senior leadership team and wider organisation, the officer will contribute to a culture of philanthropy, helping to secure vital income through a diverse mix of streams such as individual giving, legacies, corporate partnerships, community fundraising and trusts and foundations.

Through tailored communication, impact reporting, and donor recognition, the Fundraising and Stewardship Officer will ensure that all supporters feel valued and connected.  This person centred approach not only helps meet immediate funding goals but also builds a loyal, long-term supporter base, enabling the organisation to deliver meaningful impact in the communities it serves.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and deliver a multi-channel individual giving operational plan that supports donor acquisition, retention, and re-engagement, across online and offline platforms.
• Take ownership of a portfolio of lower-value (up to £5k) trusts and foundations, including community foundations, and contribute to the development of applications for mid-tier funders in collaboration with the Income Generation and Fundraising Lead.
• Maintain and update the income generation pipeline, tracking donor and funder stages, communications, deadlines and actions, and supporting internal reporting.
• Undertake regular prospect research to identify potential new individual donors, corporate partners, community groups, and trusts/foundations, maintaining a prospect tracker with recommendations for cultivation.
• Design and deliver fundraising campaigns and activities tailored to individual donors, including regular giving opportunities, payroll giving, donor clubs and high-net-worth cultivation.
• Manage the processing and stewardship of all individual donations and enquiries – including prompt and appropriate acknowledgements, follow-up, and personalised engagement activity.
• Maintain and oversee the fundraising CRM/database (e.g. Donorfy, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce), including updating records, running reports, creating segments, and supporting targeted communications and mailouts.
• Ensure all data is managed in compliance with GDPR and internal policies, contributing to best practice around data security, consent, and supporter preferences.
• Contribute ideas and input to the development of new income streams and supporter journeys.
