South East London Mind’s Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Service helps people with mental health needs back into work. We aim to increase the number of people moving into paid employment from Community Mental Health Teams.

We are currently seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to join our team in Bromley as maternity cover on a fixed-term basis. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given).

We are seeking a Dementia Carers Support Officer who can make a positive difference to the lives of unpaid carers in the diverse communities of Redbridge. We are a Queen's Award winning charity with over 30 years experience of supporting unpaid carers in Redbridge. The Corporate Partnerships Officer will join a small and high-performing Corporate Partnerships team, taking over a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects at our ‘consortium’ partner level, ranging from £10k-£50k per annum.

You will identify, engage, secure, and steward corporate partner prospects from sectors that include law, construction, manufacturing and logistics, as well as supporting other team members across different sectors as the need arises. The existing portfolio of partners are primarily legal firms who also engage with our impactful programmes, and you will also have personal and team new business targets and support senior team members to steward our flagship partners.

New business

Community Fundraising Manager

We are looking for an experienced Community Fundraising Manager to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will be responsible for driving our strategy for Community Fundraising, Individual/Regular Giving and Events. With a database of around 100,000 registrants and 15,000 members, these existing income streams have lots of great potential. We have amazing fundraisers in our community who take on challenges like the London Marathon, London to Brighton bike ride, or their own swimming challenge and there’s lots of great potential amongst our supporters, including our committed members and regular givers.

Purpose of the role

• Grow a successful existing income stream (Fundraising Events and Regular Giving) and develop and grow a comparatively new income stream (Community Fundraising and Individual Giving) for Twins Trust. Donor Stewardship and Reporting 

•Research, manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of donors informing, educating, and inspiring them about MAP’s work, and asking them for donations either directly in application or facilitating asks by peers. 

•Create a personal plan for each ‘qualified’ donor, taking into account the individual donor’s interest, motivations, giving patterns, any information they need to support our work. Execute that plan on a timely basis plan so that individuals are retained and upgraded.

You’ll be responsible for researching and approaching funders aligned with our goals, writing compelling proposals, and developing lasting relationships with supporters. The role includes developing and delivering individual giving initiatives, supporting legacy campaigns, and identifying sponsorship and partnership opportunities with companies. You'll also contribute to monitoring major grants and support larger fundraising campaigns as needed.

Press

• Field enquiries from stakeholders including journalists and police forces

The Finance Officer will join a small and dynamic team that covers Finance, Human Resources, IT and Business Operations. The Sutton Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Finance Officer to join the team and provide crucial support on a range of key finance processes. Main duties

• Maintaining the Purchase Ledger including processing supplier invoices, staff expense claims, grant and bursary payments, reconciling statements and making the relevant payments
• Maintaining the Sales Ledger including raising invoices and allocating receipts
• Cash management including checking bank transactions daily, allocating transactions on the accounting system and producing regular bank reconciliations. Paying in cheques and reconciling floats, if required
• Maintaining accurate records of both unrestricted and restricted fund transactions including receipts, grants, staff expenses, overheads and cash
• Providing timely and accurate financial support to the Programmes, Development and Research teams to assist them with forecasting, budgeting, reconciliation and (donor) reporting

Investment for the future means The Hospice has a centrally managed people and systems team, this includes management of our CRM (Donify), enabling the Executive Team report on KPIs with internally triangulated data for better decision-making.
