EIA UK is seeking a motivated volunteer to support our Fundraising team as we expand our mass participation events programme. The volunteer will ideally work 1 day a week and for a period of 3 months.

A key focus of the Fundraising team is to raise unrestricted income for EIA, so that the funds raised can be spent wherever the need is greatest. We are now scaling up our involvement in mass participation events to increase brand awareness, attract new supporters, and grow our unrestricted fundraising income and we need your help to do this!

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience in events and fundraising at a leading international environmental NGO — while helping protect the planet for future generations.

As a Fundraising Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in helping us grow our events programme and engage new supporters. You’ll:

• Support the planning and logistics of multiple mass participation events such as Swim Serpentine and the London Marathon
• Steward our fundraisers across all events
• Be a key point of communication
• Assist with digital and on the ground outreach before, during and post event
• Research new events and fill out applications for EIA to participate

Individuals with great communication and organisational skills are encouraged to apply and should have an interest in the environment, a passion for conservation and share the aims of EIA.

Amy’s Place is a partnership between the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Clarion Housing, providing supported living accommodation for young women aged 18-30 in recovery from drugs, alcohol and other addictive behaviors.

An enthusiastic, reliable and compassionate volunteer with good interpersonal skills and a desire to help others. The volunteer must be a fully qualified Dietitian or Nutritional Therapist and have training and/or experience working with individuals with eating disorders.

Activities

• Supporting the nutritional needs of young women with health issues on a limited budget.
• Providing support with meal planning, cooking skills, food safety, and day-to-day problem solving around food and eating.
• Providing wisdom and accurate nutrition education around healthy eating for the individual.

Qualifications/ Experience

• Must be a fully qualified Dietitian or Nutritional Therapist.
• As many of the residents have eating disorders it is essential for the volunteer to have training and/or clinical experience working with individuals with eating disorders.
• Must have professional liability insurance and be a member of a professional body ie. HCPC, BANT
• This role requires us to carry out a check through the Disclosure and Barring Service for the Enhanced DBS

Commitment 

This is a flexible opportunity and volunteering times and frequency will vary depending on the volunteer’s availability and the needs of the residents. We recommend weekly one-to-one sessions for a minimum of 3 months.

Experience and requirements:

•  Suitable candidates need to be qualified or nearing the end of a substantial training.

• This role will require us to carry out an enhanced check through the disclosure and barring service.

Commitment 

Commitment can be flexible to suit your availability, from about 1-2 hours per week. Ideally this volunteer will commit to a minimum of 3 months

The successful applicant will be someone who can provide supportive and calming sessions tailored to the individual needs of the client to promote their physical and emotional wellbeing.

• 1:1 or group Hypnotherapy sessions for residents

Role (Volunteer, unpaid): Partnership Support Volunteer

Role Description:

The Partnerships Support Volunteer will assist the Partnership lead in coordinating, managing, and expanding Wekume’s partnerships with local and international organizations, companies, institutions, and individuals. The volunteer will support communication, research, documentation, and follow-ups to ensure smooth and effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
▪️Assist in identifying potential partners and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities.
▪️Support outreach efforts — drafting emails, booking meetings, and tracking responses.
▪️Attend partnership meetings (physical or virtual) with the Lead  when required, and take notes or manage follow-ups.
▪️Help prepare partnership documents such as concept notes, briefs, proposals, and reports.
▪️Maintain and update the partnership database and contact lists.

▪️Coordinate with program, communications, and finance teams to ensure partners are engaged and informed.

Support, guidance and keeping you safe

At Cats Protection we believe our volunteers should be happy and confident in their roles. Outline of the Administrator/Secretary role

Being an excellent timekeeper and an organised individual, your administration skills will be vital to support the smooth running of the local Management Team. By recording actions agreed at meetings, and supporting the Team Leader, Management Team and Coordinator with administrative support, this role ensures that the group functions at its best and works in the most efficient and effective way to help adults learn to read in your community.

How we will support you

You will be provided with the Management Team Handbook, training/induction, policies and guidance specifically needed for this role, including access to support from a Read Easy UK Regional Adviser, via your Team Leader. You will also be invited to Read Easy UK’s regional forums and annual conference which give volunteers an opportunity for networking with those from other groups.

What you will be doing

● Arranging Team meetings with the Team Leader and distributing agendas

● Recording actions agreed at the team meeting and distributing notes on required actions

● Submitting Coach and Reader Finisher questions responses to REUK

● When required, supporting the Coordinator with printing and copying

● Supporting with general administration for your group
