The Role 

The Director of Finance, IT & Compliance will be accountable for ensuring there is robust financial planning, compliance, and risk management throughout the organisation. Duties will include:

• Providing strategic advice, guidance and constructive challenge to the CEO, Board and associated committees on all issues related to financial matters.
• Providing robust financial due diligence and producing accurate and timely internal financial reports to support decision-making.
• Ensuring IT services are robust, compliant and futureproofed.
• Acting as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the organisation.
• Collaborating with the CEO and Board to develop and implement strategies for diversifying income streams.

The Person

We are looking for an ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified accountant with significant experience operating in a senior financial position. With extensive experience in managing budgets, audits, and financial reporting, you should also have the ability to oversee, improve and implement financial systems, policies, and processes. Although charity or housing sector experience would be advantageous, we are also happy to look at people wanting to gain experience in this area providing they have knowledge of UK financial regulations, charity governance and compliance within housing providers.

The Role

Yorkshire Cancer Research is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to develop and deliver the Charity’s learning and development strategy.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

· Proven experience in a similar role, such as a Learning and Development Specialist, with end-to-end design and delivery of training programmes, including training needs analysis and measuring outcomes.

· CIPD Qualified (level 5 minimum) or equivalent with experience in developing an L&D strategy that supports business objectives and designing inclusive learning solutions.

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver training effectively.

· High levels of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), and strong project management and organisational skills.

SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. ROLE PURPOSE:

This dynamic role presents a unique opportunity to build upon the procurement progress achieved so far and to help establish robust procurement foundations across the organisation, following the implementation of a new ERP system. Some key projects for this role over the next 12 months will be:

• Contribute to the development, testing, training, and successful deployment of the new ERP Procurement App.
• Lead the ongoing implementation of the Procurement Policy, collaborating with the Internal Auditor to strengthen compliance across the Supply Chain Team and the wider organisation.
• Support the Indirect Spend strategy and lead the development of a new five-year strategic plan to guide future category management.

This role is focused on achieving optimal value for money across all indirect spend activities. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The successful Procurement Manager will be strategic, decisive and collaborative with an eye for opportunity and influence. We are looking for a strategic, experienced, and passionate Learning & Engagement Manager to lead the Trust’s education, volunteering, and community work. Job Description:

We are looking for a highly competent individual to oversee the planning and delivery of our ambitious peatland restoration programme at RSPB Forsinard Flows Nature Reserve. Our work programme consists of delivering both future open hill and forest-to-bog peatland restoration projects, as well as assuring that we meet our monitoring and maintenance commitments of previous Peatland Action and Peatland Code projects.

Based at the RSPB Forsinard Flows Field Centre, you will be responsible for leading, managing and motivating our Peatland restoration team, comprising of two Peatland Restoration Project Officers and a pool of committed volunteers. You will work closely with RSPB’s wider Scottish Peatland Programme, and be supported by RSPB’s Project Management Framework to help you successfully delivering the outputs and objectives of the RSPB’s national Scotland Peatland Programme.

The successful candidate will be someone with a proven track record of team leadership and project management to manage this complex work programme, and deliver truly landscape scale habitat restoration.

Essentials skills, knowledge & experience:

• Qualification in a relevant subject or ability to show equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of peatland habitat, function and wildlife, to enable oversight of peatland restoration projects.
• Proven leadership and line management experience, with track record of managing people and delivering a high performing team.
• Proven experience of project management, including development, delivery, reporting and budget management.

About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. A UK registered charity, we work in collaboration with Palestinian communities and trusted local partners, and coordinate with key stakeholders and relevant clusters, to meet a wide range of health and social needs, from providing vital medical aid in emergencies, to supporting the development of better health services for the long term. Responsibilities

Strategy, vision and leadership

• Be accountable to the CEO and Board in the areas of finance, technology, risk and compliance, supply chain and logistics, and safety and security.
• Advise the CEO and SMT on all these areas as well as on legal, governance and related policy matters.
