About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.
We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales. Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.
What we are looking for
- Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
- L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent
- The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
- An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
- Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Role Purpose

Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of social media experience, ideally within an agency or in house at a brand. Candidates will be a TikTok enthusiast who understands platform trends, storytelling and viral marketing. Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, analytics and content strategies is essential for this role. You will be able to create short-form video content (experience with Cap Cut or similar editing tools is a bonus). The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity that manages over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, including rare habitats, historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James's Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

As their Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the statutory accounts production and audit, tax, treasury management and all transactional processing.
You will lead, develop and motivate a team of 7 (3 direct reports), ensuring they deliver excellent customer service and accurate financial control.
Additionally, you will:
- Set strategic direction for the Financial Control team, looking to continuously improve ways of working and the service offered to the wider charity.
- Lead on the production of TRP's annual accounts and manage the annual audit process.
- Oversee the month end and year end processes and ensure all ledgers are up to date provide high quality and accurate financial information.
- Ensure statutory financial compliance and the statutory returns are completed on time (e.g. VAT, Corporation Tax, Charities' SORP, Charity Commission guidance).
About You
To be considered as the Financial Controller, you will need:
- To be a fully qualified accountant
- Experience of working within a finance function of a medium to large charity
- Experience of leading, motivating and developing a complex and high-volume transactional processing team.
Salary is £70,000 - £75,000 depending on experience + Excellent Benefits including:
- 26 days' annual leave plus public holidays, increasing to 29 days after 3 years' service
- Pension scheme (3% employee contribution; up to 10% employer contribution)

Duties
- To provide team members, managers, employees and human resources colleagues with advice on the implementation of policies and procedures in accordance with policies & employment legislation.
- Advise on workers on right to work and vetting and barring requirements relating to employment and oversee appropriate actions are taken including submission of certification of sponsorship applications and vetting and barring application
- Oversee the production of human resources contractual information and data onto the HR and Payroll system
- Oversee the recruitment and new starter process for non-advertised posts ensuring accurate and timely pre-employment checks are completed
- Working with the other HR Advisor to manage the workload and performance of the Human Resources Operations team on a day-to-day basis
- To undertake performance development reviews and training and development for the team
