Location: Barton Seagrave, Kettering, Northamptonshire (hybrid – in-person at least one day per week)
Contract: Two part-time roles (totalling 37.5 hours per week)

We’re looking for two reliable, highly organised individuals to provide practical and accessibility support to a blind researcher working on projects relating to domestic abuse.

This is a varied and meaningful role — helping to remove barriers so the researcher can carry out their work effectively. You’ll be supporting with everything from reading and interpreting research materials to creating accessible documents, assisting with travel and navigation, and helping with technology and admin tasks.

The ideal candidates will have excellent written English, strong attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to equality, inclusion, and disability rights. You’ll need to be comfortable handling sensitive information and supporting research that may involve complex or emotive subject matter.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reading and interpreting printed and digital materials, including quantitative data and statistical outputs.

• Assisting with academic research and sourcing materials.

• Taking notes during meetings and workshops.

• Creating and checking accessible Word, PDF, and PowerPoint documents.

• Supporting with travel bookings, expenses, and in-person navigation at meetings and events.

You’ll bring:

• Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) in a subject requiring strong literacy skills.

• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

• Confidence with Microsoft Office and data tools such as Excel.

• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection.

• A respectful, non-judgmental approach to supporting disabled people’s autonomy and expertise.

• The ability to provide in-person support in Barton Seagrave at least once per week.

It would also be great if you have:

• Experience using academic databases and accessing journal articles.

You will play a key role in supporting our residents who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. You will identify their needs, goals and skills, and then support and motivate them to achieve their potential. You will support them in engaging with activities, the community, and provide useful tools and resources for better life skills management. • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times

The Events team lead on the development and delivery of a wide range of events that stretch across the whole organisation. The key aims of the team are to ensure a consistent, professional, and highly engaging supporter experience whether through direct delivery or through consultation with teams looking to deliver events on their own.

The Events Officer will work closely with the Events Manager in the development and delivery of a first-class events programme for Alzheimer’s Research UK, ensuring a consistent, professional, and highly engaging supporter experience. This role involves management of events, as well as supporting other teams across the organisation on their events scoping, planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the development, management, delivery and evaluation of events within the Events Calendar, including meetings, dinners, receptions, webinars and other events as required.

· Support in management and delivery of events managed by other members of Events team as required.

· Work alongside the Events Manager and the conference working group on developing, management and delivering of the Research Conference.

· Work alongside the Events Executive to ensure the Events inbox is utilised and RSVPs are responded to in a timely manner

· Responsible for team use of the databases including Salesforce and EventsAir, by monitoring and reporting on events activity

· Undertake any other relevant duties and projects delegated by the Events Manager and Senior Events Officer in line with the responsibilities of the post

· To brief the senior leadership team, scientists, clinicians, speakers, staff and volunteers ahead of each event

· Regular attendance at events; this will include some travel and work outside of ordinary working hours

What we are looking for:

· Experience in the events industry, both online and in-person

Our Youth Worker will work with young people and their families based in South Bristol and beyond. The role will see trusting relationships built between known young people in the community, partnered with professional mentors who can relate to the young people and help guide them into positive provision or employment. Your main responsibilities:

For Europe's largest infrastructure project, we're recruiting a permanent Resourcing Business Partner. This role will manage end-to-end recruitment activities for a designated directorate including requirements gathering, briefings with hiring managers, setting timelines and milestones, preparing and posting adverts, managing agency briefings, reviewing applications, sitting on interview panels, and then the management of offers and the onboarding administration.

Main Duties:

• Campaign Management: partnering and advising stakeholders on end-to-end recruitment processes including interviews and assessments
• Creating and posting engaging adverts across platforms
• Managing and reporting on campaign metrics and MI, updating the ATS accurately

Barnardo's are commissioned to deliver the services in the Children and Family Centres in Warwickshire in partnership with a wide variety of agencies offering activities to children, young people and parents/carers. Rugby Children and Family Centres are recruiting for an Early Years and Children's Practitioner to deliver a range of services including groups activities , 1:1 support and courses. This post requires a good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and child development. Experience of working with the 5-19 yr age groups (up to 25yrs for SEND) would also be an advantage.

You will also lead on the in-house creation of the hospice magazine, Life, published three times a year and may be required to lead on the design of specific corporate brochures.
