About Us
SOS Rape Crisis (SOSRC) is an independent specialist sexual violence charity providing support for adults (regardless of gender), young people and children who have experienced sexual violence and/or child sexual abuse, in Southend, Castle Point and Rochford.
We are part of Synergy Essex, a partnership of three Rape Crisis Centres (SOSRC, SERICC and CARA), funded by the Office for the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex to provide a countywide ISVA service.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team providing vital support to survivors of sexual violence and abuse. As a Navigator Project Worker, you will be the first point of contact for individuals accessing Southend-on-Sea Rape Crisis services. You will offer compassionate, trauma-informed, and needs led support, helping survivors feel heard and understood from the outset. Through careful assessment and informed referrals, you’ll play a key role in connecting survivors with the most appropriate services.
Key Responsibilities

Provide a professional and empathic first point of contact for survivors of sexual violence and/or abuse.

Offer one-off emotional and practical support, and provide information, signposting and onward referrals.

Complete initial assessments to identify their needs and most appropriate next steps.

Keep accurate, timely and confidential records on the case management system.

Work in partnership with SOSRC colleagues including the Counselling and ISVA Teams.

Attend team meetings, one-to-ones, clinical supervision, line management and other meetings as required.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection legislation and guidelines.

Contribute to monitoring and evaluation and meet administrative requirements.

Work in accordance with all SOSRC policies and procedures.

About Bright Futures UK
Bright Futures UK supports children and young people aged 5 to 24 whose education has been disrupted due to serious long-term physical or mental health conditions. We offer online one-to-one tutoring, befriending, and mentoring programmes, as well as group programmes including hospital workshops, industry events, and advocacy actions initiatives. Working in close partnership with hospitals, families, and other services, we ensure that children and young people experiencing health-related challenges are not left behind.
Role Overview
This is a key role in the delivery of our online personalised programme. The Senior Coordinator will oversee the children and young people referral pathway, acting as the first point of contact for new referrals and guiding children, young people, and their families, educators, or hospital contacts through every stage of the onboarding process.
You will be responsible for gathering detailed and sensitive information about each young person’s health, education, and wellbeing, to ensure the support they receive is tailored, appropriate, and trauma-informed. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records is a central part of this role. You will also line manage the Personalised Programme Coordinators, work closely with the wider Programme and Volunteer Teams, and play a key role in external outreach and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Referral and Programme Oversight
- Act as the lead contact for all incoming referrals, including those from hospitals, statutory services, community organisations, and families
- Hold safe, compassionate, and confidential conversations with CYPs to understand their needs and gather relevant information around education, physical health, and mental wellbeing
- Ensure all referral documentation, risk assessments, consent forms, and safeguarding procedures are completed to a high standard and in line with organisational policy
- Maintain strong working relationships with referral partners, providing updates and sharing appropriate feedback
- Oversee the matching of referred CYP to suitable volunteers in collaboration with the Volunteer Senior Coordinator
- Monitor programme delivery through regular check-ins with Personalised Programme Coordinators to provide support and identify emerging risks or additional needs
- Liaise with internal colleagues to escalate safeguarding concerns and ensure support plans remain up to date
- Contribute to the development of our personalised support model, helping us adapt and evolve our offer based on the needs of our community

Stakeholder Engagement and Promotion
- Promote Bright Futures UK’s personalised programme offer to relevant professionals and services

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legacy Marketing Manager to play a key role in shaping the future of our legacy marketing programme.
Legacy gifts are our single largest source of voluntary income, with significant potential for growth. To recognise this, we have secured additional investment to help us engage, inspire and acquire new legacy supporters through multi-channel marketing activities.
Working closely with the Heads of Fundraising Campaigns and Individual Giving, you will develop strategies to raise awareness of gifts in Wills, reach new audiences and develop new supporter journeys to engage new and existing legacy pledgers and prospects with our research.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will plan, manage and execute multi-channel campaigns across the marketing mix and work with your team to deliver exceptional campaigns and stewardship, to recruit, retain and engage our committed supporters.
You will:
- Work with your Manager to devise and implement marketing and stewardship strategies to maximise legacy giving and engage with existing legacy pledgers.
- Be responsible for using data and insights to innovate and maximise our legacy marketing campaigns to targeted audiences, and to develop, test and analyse new activities.

Changing Markets is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Campaigner or Campaign Manager to join our dynamic team in running and winning market transformation campaigns. They will work on our high-profile campaign to reduce emissions from food systems and hold big corporate polluters accountable. The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a semi-flexible working environment (daily working hours are flexible but attendance at the London office is expected three days a week).
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Campaigner or Campaign Manager with at least seven years’ experience in running campaigns and a proven track record of success. This role has a strong focus on research and the successful candidate should have experience in commissioning and conducting investigations, managing external contractors and writing campaign reports. They should have outstanding inter-personal skills and be a team player with a good network of NGO contacts and the ability to form collaborative working relationships with a variety of different stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the implementation of high-impact campaign strategies and tactics for our Growing the Good campaign.
· Conduct research and analysis to inform campaign messaging and write reports, blogs, responses to consultations, etc. to advance our campaign goals.
· Ensure the impactful roll-out of campaign activities across media, digital platforms, and amplify our messages via coordination with partners, through organisation of events and other outreach activities.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including NGOs, journalists, researchers, policymakers and corporates.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
- demonstrable experience in running and winning international campaigns;
- excellent analytical skills;
- the ability to lead, implement and coordinate research (either in-house or by external consultants) to create the evidence base needed to win campaigns;
- a good eye for detail combined with a strong ability to distill and critically evaluate key information and translate it into simple campaign materials;
- excellent writing skills in English, which will be needed to draft reports and investigations;
- networking skills and a proven ability to create and run diverse coalitions;
- good organisational skills with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines, multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment with occasional heavy workloads;
- the ability to think out-of-the-box and to adapt campaign plans to changing circumstances;
- willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice;
- an interest in environmental issues with a passion for creating lasting social change.
It’s a plus if the candidate has:
- good knowledge of debates surrounding environmental and climate change issues;
- experience in handling media relations;
- good knowledge of how to use social media creatively to win campaigns;
- experience of managing a grant budget and delivering narrative impact reports to funders

In this role, you will support the Direct Marketing Manager - Loyalty to manage the donor loyalty programme. You will develop and manage existing and new supporter communication programmes growing loyalty in our supporter base. The aim is to maximise the value of our long-term relationships with individual supporters.
This role is a varied one, with superb development opportunities. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for the print-based communications we send to our supporters but also email production with the view of developing the loyalty digital journey. About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as our Individual Giving Officer (Stewardship). This is a vital new role sitting in our recently expanded Fundraising Campaigns and Individual Giving team.
You will deliver a defined stewardship strategy and supporter care programme aimed at engaging with donors in a range of ways, to ensure that both new and existing donors are appropriately acknowledged, recognised, and informed about the impact of their giving – providing the highest quality of relationship with our charity.
You will develop and drive forward a cohesive multi-channel stewardship and supporter care programme that supports and engages all those who give through our individual giving programme, including cash and regular donors. You will ensure that supporters receive a level of relationship that is personalised to their level and pattern of giving.
You will build important relationships with colleagues across the Development Office, including working with Philanthropy colleagues to engage mid-value donors with stewardship events. You will also work closely with our Communications colleagues to develop and deliver stewardship mailings to our target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will plan, manage and deliver a multi-channel stewardship and supporter care programme to communicate with our supporters in a range of ways that makes them feel valued and informed – and build relationships with them to keep them engaged with our work and increase their level of giving in the longer-term.
You will:
- Work with your Manager to devise and implement strategies for supporter stewardship, ensuring individuals are thanked, informed and engaged.
