We are looking for an experienced Administration and Systems Manager to join our enthusiastic and friendly Operations team. Help Counselling is a small Mental Health charity providing one-to-one counselling, both in person and online to adults over 18. We are also a well-established clinical training placement provider for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists studying with prestigious training organisations in London.
About Help
Help Counselling is well-established Mental Health Charity with a heritage of over 50 years. We provide training placements for clinical supervisors, counsellors and psychotherapists who need to gain clinical experience to qualify (or further qualify) and be registered with one of the industry professional bodies such as, BACP or UKCP. For ethical reasons, the work trainee counsellors / psychotherapists do is unpaid, i.e., they must volunteer their time.
This volunteer model enables Help to fulfil its charitable aim of providing low-cost counselling services. It can take between 3-5 years to qualify, and our training placements are for minimum of 12 months meaning we can also provide clients with long-term help. Having consistence and continuity plays a pivotal role in building a safe, therapeutic, and trusting alliance between the counsellor and client.
The blend of low-cost and long-term talking therapy is much needed in a time of increasing demand for mental health support and increasing complexity of presenting issues.
About the job
The purpose of this role is to manage the daily administrative operations and a small administration team of 2 people. The objective being to ensure that we meet our monthly targets, are compliant with the requirements of BACP, run efficiently and deal with exceptions in a timely, ethical, and effective manner.

Lead the development and writing of concept notes, proposals, presentations and pitches to prospective donors

We’re seeking a Senior Philanthropy Manager to join our fantastic Philanthropy and Partnerships team following an internal promotion.
Over the last five years, the Philanthropy team has gone from strength to strength, and we are now laying the foundations for long-term growth. We are building the tools, vision, and expertise to drive philanthropic income at Pancreatic Cancer UK and the Senior Philanthropy Manager is a key role in helping us deliver on our mission to double survival rates of pancreatic cancer by growing major donor income.
This role is responsible for delivering on three key areas of the major donor programme:
-Managing and growing a portfolio of major donor and high value supporters. Specifically focusing on encouraging and making the ask for long-term, multi-year 5-6 figure gifts.
-Driving major donor new business activity to build a sustainable pipeline using internal data analysis tools alongside network mapping exercises.
-Working collaboratively across the team to provide tailored stewardship journeys and experiences which build meaningful relationships with our closest supporters and demonstrate the impact of their support on our mission.
About You
· You will have a track record of securing philanthropic donations and growing major donor pipelines.
· You will be a brilliant relationship fundraiser, able to build relationships, garner trust and inspire action.
· You will be curious about people, their motivations to support us and able to pursue and seek out new opportunities.
· You will be data-led in your approach to prospect research and have an interest in learning about new trends to apply to our programmes.

The WaterAid IT team is customer-facing with a remit for front-line service operations, cyber security, technology change and project delivery, in addition to the development and support of IT infrastructure and application services running across our global organisation. The team also has direct responsibility for 250+ staff working in the UK and provides services and support for WaterAid staff across 20+ countries.
About the Role:
- Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities whilst creating a sense of teamwork by pulling together colleagues with differing skillsets and expertise.
- Implement processes for tracking procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of all IT assets including hardware, software, and licenses. This will require collaboration with our managed service provider.
- Act as the ITSM tool global administrator, assisting country program offices with maintenance, support, access, development of processes & training.
- Develop, update, and enforce IT policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and organisational goals.
- Manage the IT departments hub on the internal intranet platform, ensuring that it provides up-to-date information, news, and resources to employees.
- Oversee the transition of completed IT projects from the internal IT operations team, with potential collaboration from 3rd parties to the MSP service delivery team.

About you
We are seeking candidates with experience in managing the development, production and delivery of web content and digital products, including e-learning resources, videos, podcasts, and images, for a high traffic and information rich website.
The successful candidate will have experience of implementing a digital-first strategy which supports and refines customer-focused outputs. We’re looking for a Senior Digital Engagement Manager to head up our Digital Team, taking the lead on driving forward the organisation’s digital marketing and communications. You’ll work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop and deliver the digital elements of the wider marketing and communications strategy, and line manage senior officers who lead the operations and development of our website, social media, email marketing and paid advertising activities.
You’ll play a lead role in maximising digital marketing opportunities, raising the profile of the organisation, communicating information, services and campaigns to new and existing supporters, and using insights and data to drive engagement and growth across the organisation. You’ll be the go-to expert for major initiatives that require digital support, from communication campaigns to change projects. You’ll also bring insights into the latest trends and developments in the digital marketing landscape.
You’ll be a digital all-rounder with enough hands-on knowledge and experience to support your operational leads, and the ability to think strategically, guiding the team and driving forward new ideas and initiatives.
