You’ll take ownership of the communications and marketing requirements for our Partnerships and Communities portfolio, ensuring every project has a clear, impactful marketing strategy. From developing inclusive campaigns and activations, to building new relationships, products and partnerships, you’ll be at the heart of promoting our work and growing our influence.
You’ll work in close collaboration with our award-winning Communications and Marketing function to ensure your strategies align with, and complement, our overarching communications strategy, vision and corporate brand. By coordinating with our PR, Social Media, and Marketing teams, you’ll drive consistency and cohesion through the Partnerships and Communities programmes, helping us amplify our message and strengthen our impact.
Key Focus Areas
- Supporting partnership, funding and supporter growth and retention by working with the Partnerships Development Manager to develop partnership strategies and materials (e.g., pitches, proposals, content, impact reporting), and track/evaluate partnership activity to evidence impact and attract new support.
- Commissioning and managing the creation of accessible and effective assets (e.g. presentations, toolkits, social content, video) that are used in the delivery and implementation of a wide variety of programmes and campaigns, across diverse themes. This will involve close collaboration with the Senior Programmes Design Manager and our partners.
- Developing and overseeing integrated marketing and communications plans for the programmes and campaigns – considering objectives, audiences, channels, timelines and KPIs - in close collaboration with Community Integrated Care’s in-house internal and external Marketing and Communications team and operational colleagues, and our partners, to ensure that we reach and empower our target audiences.
- Identifying, delivering and collaborating on profile-raising activations with partners (e.g., events, co-branded campaigns, ambassador activity, PR opportunities) that celebrate the charity, extend reach, and support a more inclusive society, working with Community Integrated Care’s external communications team – including PR and Media, Social Media, Policy & Public Affairs and Design specialists.

- Build Regular Giving – laying the foundation for higher long-term value and stronger ROI across acquisition channels.
- Drive All Donors to Legacy – recruiting quality donors who have the potential value to feed into legacy and long-term giving goals.

The Senior Lead - Acquisition & Digital Fundraising role is responsible for delivering Operation Smile UK’s strategic individual giving acquisition programme. This role is key to driving income growth and expanding our supporter base across multiple channels, including digital, DRTV, dialogue fundraising and print.
You will lead the strategy, planning, delivery and evaluation of acquisition campaigns, including the onboarding process, with full accountability for managing significant budgets, agency partnerships and performance metrics. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an experienced acquisition fundraiser with strong commercial acumen and a data-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign Leadership
- Develop and implement the multi-channel acquisition strategy, aligned with income targets and supporter growth objectives.
- Lead on the planning and delivery of campaigns across direct dialogue, digital, DRTV, and print channels.
- Lead on the planning and delivery of the onboarding process for all new recruits.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insight-driven recommendations to optimise results.

- Extensive experience (ideally 5+ years) in Individual Giving or fundraising acquisition roles.

The Individual Giving Manager will lead the development of RLSS UK’s first comprehensive individual giving programme, building all activity from the ground up. This includes designing compelling supporter propositions, establishing donor journeys, and creating engaging campaigns that drive acquisition and long-term support.

JOB PURPOSE
To develop, launch, and grow RLSS UK’s first individual giving programme, building sustainable income streams that support our vital work in water safety education. As the first dedicated individual giving role, you will design the strategy and deliver hands on activity, creating compelling propositions, supporter journeys and campaigns across regular giving, one‑off gifts, lottery, legacies and in‑memory giving.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and Strategy
- Develop RLSS UK’s first Individual Giving strategy, setting clear plans, targets, and opportunities for growth across all giving products.
- Introduce and embed best practice in compliance, data management, supporter care, and ethical fundraising.
Supplier and Partner Development
- Scope organisational needs and procure/manage suppliers, agencies and platforms required to deliver individual giving activity.

Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and support for babies, children and young people who are life limited or life threatened. Forming part of the Fundraising Leadership Team and reporting to the Associate Director of Fundraising, the Head of Donor Experience will lead a central support function covering donor journeys, supporter care, data and insight, digital fundraising and compliance. Job Purpose
Mental Health Innovations (MHI) is a digital charity supporting the mental health of people around the UK. We combine data insights, clinical expertise and digital innovation to make free, accessible support available whenever it is needed. Through our services, Shout and The Mix, we provide support at every stage, from early intervention through to crisis support.
The Marketing and Communications Officer plays a central role in delivering public fundraising campaigns, supporter stewardship and partner marketing support across MHI, Shout and The Mix. Sitting within the Communications and Marketing Team and reporting to the Senior Marketing and Partnerships Manager, the role drives fundraising communications and events, while supporting commissioned and NHS partners with high-quality content, toolkits and marketing guidance.
Working closely with the Income and Partnerships teams, the postholder helps drive income growth, strengthen supporter and partner relationships, and bring our impact to life through clear, compelling storytelling and well-executed campaign activation across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on marketing and communications activity to support public fundraising, including events and individual giving campaigns, working closely with the Income Team to drive participation and income.
- Own fundraiser and supporter stewardship communications, developing journeys and touchpoints that recognise, motivate and retain supporters through high quality content and storytelling.
- Plan and deliver fundraising campaign content and activations across digital channels, including email, social media and website, ensuring alignment with wider organisational campaigns and awareness moments.

About the role
The Social Media and Marketing Officer will deliver high-performing digital marketing campaigns that drive supporter acquisition and engagement. We are looking for a passionate and creative Head of Brand, Communications & Marketing to lead the next stage of our journey.
This is an exciting, strategic and hands‑on leadership role for someone who can confidently amplify our brand in the public sphere, drive meaningful engagement, and increase both supporter and beneficiary acquisition.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Director of Income Generation & Marketing and leading a small, high‑performing team, you will:
Brand, Communications & PR
- Lead and evolve Life’s brand strategy, ensuring clarity and consistency across all channels.
- Raise Life’s visibility with powerful campaigns that engage beneficiaries, supporters, volunteers and the public.
- Oversee media relations, PR activity, reputation management and crisis communications.
- Support and strengthen internal communications across the organisation.
Marketing Leadership
- Develop innovative marketing strategies that grow reach, impact and sustainability.
- Drive supporter and beneficiary acquisition through targeted, insight‑led campaigns.
- Use data, analytics and performance metrics to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
- Provide inspiring leadership and development to the Marketing & Comms Team.
Digital Strategy
- Lead Life’s digital marketing approach, including SEO, paid social, PPC, email, content and inbound marketing.
- Create effective user journeys and optimise conversion rates through testing and analytics.
- Oversee engaging social media content and paid advertising campaigns.
- Ensure high‑quality digital design, content, and brand guardianship.
Website & Content
- Support the development of Life’s website, focusing on optimisation, content quality and user experience.
- Oversee high‑quality storytelling that reflects Life’s values and mission.
About You
You’ll be a confident, creative and strategic leader who brings:
- At least 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, communications or brand roles (charity sector experience desirable).
- Proven experience developing and delivering brand, digital and communications strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, analytics and audience insight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets and leading a team.
- A warm, values‑driven approach aligned with Life’s mission of humanity, solidarity, community and compassion.

Salary: £40,000 – £44,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week (part time considered)
